So sad. Watching this makes me wish that we could kill the whole “all relationships have fights” narrative. Is there any perfect relationship devoid of issues? Of course not, but surely this narrative disproportionately hurts women and conditions them to accept abuse as a “normal” part of a relationship. There’s a difference between unavoidable conflict (which imo implies both parties are working together to resolve said conflict), and screaming/hitting fights. If one party always ends up crying…

LOL right, the mental gymnastics is unreal. Like ummm ma’am have you considered that your husband beats you because there’s a CO2 leak in your house that’s only affecting him because women don’t process CO2 the way men do and it’s causing him to get aggressive, so maybe you need to check the batteries on your CO2 detector
