Freedom is worth more than resentment. Wow. So hard to think that way right now but what a great message.

The problem is that you are thinking through this like a rational person, and you are dealing with the mind of a completely irrational person. Mine didn’t same. The night before she finally moved out she was crying. I was with her for 20 years and felt bad- even though she cheated and destroyed our marriage and family. I tried to console her and she said to get away. No problem, I did. Later that night she came to me and asked if we should talk. I calmly said there was nothing left to talk about…

It’s a societal problem. Let’s not pretend we men haven’t degraded women for a millennia- not saying you/me/or our generation in general, but it’s true. Personally, I think the biggest issue is Social Media giving them the “grass is always greener”belief. And that I do think women are more susceptible to. That’s not because of gender, but because there is a much larger percentage of women than men that follow that stuff. I can’t scream this loud enough: this influencers don’t post their fights, …

There’s nothing fair about it. I’m in the same situation with a soon to be ex wife that cheated. The fact I have to pay so much because of her thought out actions should be illegal. It was her choice and she can live with nothing for all I care. Unfortunately, my state doesn’t care about what is fair or rational.

Sorry you are feeling this way. I’m on and it was while my STBX is still in the house. She cheated. I don’t feel bad that I’m dating. I saw her on apps. It was weird. But honestly, once the paperwork is filed, she can do what she wants. She was while we were together, so why not now.

Again, I haven’t seen anything that says he was an addict. And once more, even if he was, that doesn’t excuse cheating. Get separated, then do whatever you want. There is zero excuse for cheating. To be clear, I’m not defending the porn abuse if it was there. All I am saying is there are way better ways to get out than cheating.

Unless he has other post, I don’t see anything stating that he had an addiction. For all I know, he watched it twice in his life. I do agree that it sounds like it was more of a problem if she was that upset. But then clearly communicate and get counseling. If that doesn’t work get a divorce. Don’t be a piece of shit cheater.

Brother, take a breath. Feel all the feels and don’t hold back from venting and allowing yourself to grieve. Mine was my best friend as well. 20 years together and I walked in on her banging a friend of ours just over ago. I was broken for months. I’m still broken, but way better. I was lucky enough to find an awesome therapist a few days after. I’m old school and have never spoken to a therapist before. It saved me. I still had plenty of dark days of despair, and even suicidal thoughts. But I w…

This is a very normal reaction when it is so raw. There is nothing wrong with feeling it and venting. He was broken. If he didn’t love her he wouldn’t feel this way.

Soon to be divorced male here- let’s be honest, we change as well. Whether we get complacent, kids, stressed out from work, building our careers, etc…, we change too. I’m sure most of us aren’t as loving on a daily basis as we were when we were perusing our spouses. I do however believe a change in laws are needed. My STB Ex had an affair for well over a year before I caught her. Overall, we had a good marriage. Sure we had problems like anyone else. I live in a state that is 100% no fault. That…

It’s a scam!!!! My wife and I had somewhat similar incomes (low). After our first kid she had zero drive to earn more. I was forced to work harder and further my career to give a a decent life. I asked her multiple through our marriage to find something that could pay more. Overall, we had a better than most marriage. Then I walked in on her banging a friend of ours out of nowhere. She had no reason why that she can give, and it went on for over a year that I know of. Now that we are going throu…
