One of the first quality posts on TRP in awhile. TRP is a terrible thing. I hate it. I wish it wasn’t true. But it is. I’ve been in too many relationships to know otherwise. You really only fully grasp TRP when you get fucked.

It’s so incredibly true. I’ve never gotten the amount of attention I get now. I’m so bold because I truely give absolutly no fucks. It’s not necessarily a desireable place to be though. The only benefit to this attitude is female attention.

I wouldn’t knock Peterson down to the trivial seperation of A and B. It’s just a system in this sub used to signal ~success in whatever realm you want. Peterson is much higher than this. It’s amateur to classify him like that.

love and affection are good. Take it when it's genuine and don't think of it as a guarantee.

I understand what you're saying. One of my plates texted me this paragraph last night about her ideas for a new app that would her find outfits she sees on Instagram. LOL fuck. I'm not a dev, but I understand how it would work/not work. She wanted my opinion and for me to tell her how it could be done. I couldn't even go there. As soon as I would get into the details of how the app would work she would be gone. The lofty idea would turn into the work of decision-making and mechanics. Her interes…

Fuck I love this. I really think that trauma and violence can do good things for you - if you can handle it. Maybe that mindset is just a product of how my brain deals with my own history of sexual violence, but fuck. I feel like you might feel the same way, but my sexual violence has made me the ruthless, pragmatic bastard I am. I am not scared of anything. I use trauma as motivation jet-fuel. What are you going to do? cry?

I like this. I believe that it's possible to be happily married. You just have to work your ass off to be a good man. an ideal man. That takes an incredible amount of work and discipline. The social conditions will change, the framework around marriage will change. But there have been successful marriages for thousands of years. don't marry a retard, always stay better than her. Always be in the position to leave first without damage. I know I'll want kids eventually. Can't raise a good child wi…

There has got to be a link in history to all great men that gained their greatness by getting burned by someone. Being their partner, family member etc. There has been no greater motivator in my life than the wreckage my last girl left me with.

I've used the line before and it works. It really just depends on confidence. You don't ask for the answer, you don't care about the answer. On a cold approach, I just ask their name. "Hi CCrider, do you have a boyfriend? and before she even answers, 'do you want one?' Give them a few seconds to allow their heads to explode. and leave it. Immediately go to a new topic. It really is entirely dependant on confidence, though. You're not really asking them anything. You're immediately letting them e…

I feel like I have no space to spill my actual views without reprimand. TRP is the only place I can. I'm not racist, nor sexist nor homophobic or anything. I love women and people for what they are. I now understand that you cannot hold someone up to an ideal that is inherently against their nature. You will get upset when it collapses on you. TRP has introduced me to Marcus Aurelius and Epictetus and the importance of frame and working on myself. I've been visiting this community for a few year…

Yeah you're right. I like just dealing with plates because it doesn't affect you. until that puss has you, it gets more difficult. I'll be avoiding real relationships because of this. to be frank. I don't handle it well in an LTR.

You're failing the shit test. 'Slap in the face to my honor'. Are you an insecure Muslim father? My current mian plate pulls this all-the-time. Honestly it's constant. For example. I picked her up last night and no joke the first thing out of her mouth was telling me that the guy that she was fucking in the summer showed up to her work. (works at a bar). There was obviously no interesting story to follow suit, just needed to get that information out of there. She also tells me how the regulars i…

I completely agree with you. Once you've accepted RP and know how the game works, it becomes very easy. Avoid committing, and play the field to your best ability. Sex is extremely cheap now. I'm totally fine with seeing multiple people at once. If these girls have no hesitation, why should I? you should be completely indifferent to them in terms of what is 'yours'. Nothing is yours. Take what they give you. Often that mentality will leave you with everything you want anyway. Also, let it be know…

Hey brother, went through the same thing as a kid. I think I came out okay. I'm pretty in tune with my emotions and wellbeing - and there are no obvious signs that it fucked me up too much. My sister had the same abuse from the same perp. she got FUCKED from it though. Bunch of lingering issues. You know who is the last person ever to post of Facebook about it? Her. She could so easily suck up those sweet likes. But when you're an actual victim of sexual abuse there is no way in fuck you're join…

There has been a complete culture shift. It's terrible. Some people see it and acknowledge it in private conversations - but it's very publicly left now. you should hear the CBC. it's scary.. and I consider myself a moderate.

I was always a light TRP reader, usually looking for a quick fix/minor tweak. I slipped in my relationship and was swiftly destroyed. I realized I needed to fully understand. There was an intense fire in me because of the tramatic experience to learn. I feel most guys here need that trauma to fully swallow and read everything. they must WANT to read everything with every spare minute they can afford.

I don't think you need to treat someone like a slave to be above them. Actually the opposite - They should be completely free. The thing that will establish that dynamic is people WANTING to be below. This happens through big differences in SMV and frame. Hold frame for dear life and be the greatest person your SO has ever met. Big SMV value will keep anyone submissive.

TRP cares about cheating because cheating burns a hole into your goddamn soul. Especially when you're blue. It's a great motivator. But you get put through the ringer while you're there.

same. I always knew about TRP. But I conveniently forgot about it because I convinced myself AWALT wasn't true. Anyways, AWALT. One of my biggest TRP wakeup calls was when I was banging some girl I had met at the bar. After the second time she would lay in bed with me in the morning and text her boyfriend who lived across the country. Normal texting, sending funny memes she would show me. Without even blinking. We didn't even connect that well - she was super hot and wanted someone to sleep with…

Alright man never give carefully handcrafted messages. Looks like you care. You dont care. So message accrodingly. Message something funny or witty. Short and sweet. Dont be a try hard. For the pics - never ever post a selfie. Some of my most successful pics are where i was caught candidly in a social environment, occasionally shirtless. Not flexing in the mirror. You'll look lonely. Also start lifting forsure. Also go get your heartbroken

You put it very well. Ive noticed this too. Often I feel a lot of posts on here are of guys who have a rouse of alphaness, but still don't possess many deep qualities are are 'alpha'. They workout, work on themselves, try to not take shit etc. but are still a bit weak on the inside, and insecure. I see this with some of my friends. You can notice it in intimate interactions--like a 1-1 conversation on drugs. They may bench 325 and pull at the bar, but they still cant look you in the eyes. There …

I was a different time. I just wrote a paper on something similar to this. At times of crisis or lack of security, masculinity comes out--in both genders, because it is the more suitable stance for the survival of the state. In times of peace-- effeminity usually takes over, which emasculates men and makes the state weaker, thus more prone to threats. Lycurgus(spartan polician) understood this and made sure both women and men were physically and mentally strong and masculine. Sparta then won the…

Me and my SO went through something similar, I'll give you the guys perspective. We're pigs. We will fantasize about other women all the time. It has absolutely nothing to do with our feelings towards our SO's. It takes away no feelings I have towards her or doesn't make me like her any less. We are just animals and like to look at things that attract us. Sometimes guys need to get things out of thier systems before they really settle down. Noone wants to be that guy at 45 regretting he had play…

probably the worst way to respond. I've been asked this before and I've had a few different responses. GIRL (she was trying to wheel, about a 6, I wasnt interested): Are you gay or something? (because I was ignoring her advances) ME: You bet sweetheart, while I slap my buddys arse and look him in the eye. GIRL2: Are you gay Me: sometimes, but ill change sides if a girl is hot enough

I dated a BPD girl. And still am dating her. I grew up in a house where my sister had BPD. I've learned to how to control people with it. My gf is also bulimic and extremely afraid of abandonment, she also has almost no friends and eventually girls that get close to her eventually hate her. But the sex is insane, and I can't let that go. I was fucking other girls for a long time when we weren't together but its never the same. That body is just too dope. And she just loves me to pieces. It's als…

I think the crying is caused a little from her instability, and such a easily stated threat to her relationship from her SO. makes her upset that the emotions she has invested into the relationship arn't reciprocal in the light that she sees them. Although I think they are--he just knows how to make her squirm and keep her in check. no real harm done here.

Sometimes they'll admit to 'seeing someone new' just so they don't feel totally guilty about it and see how you'll react. If they can pull a jealous or emotional reaction outta you-then they have you as an orbiter. But, if you stay cool with it youll be fine. So good job OP for that. BUT you could've easily gone further. She's on your couch drinking beers and watching netflix.. Turn on enough charm, relentlessly flirt get close and make her laugh and she'll likely turn. Or even pull a bit of dre…

This is the stuff I've realized. The people who do well in school are the ones motivated to do the work. it really has nothing to do with intellect. 2/3 of the people who get 90's are the ones who constantly do work, but cant answer a single answer on jeopardy (I know). or think critically. I do absolutely nothing in school. cram. I never learn, but still do above average. I major in both economics and politics. and I can tell you that politics is twice as hard as any economics or business major…

This is certainly the best way. I find it way more enjoyable too. Focusing on the muscle and truly engaging it with full control until fail. But TBH the most egotistical guys at my gym are the trainers. Some are really friendly guys. But the older power lifter dudes really want people to know they own the place. One of them even kicked me off the dead lift mat after my first set cause it was 5:00 and 'his time'

Dude I did this shit when I was about 17. I came back from Europe and got told this 10 petite brunette (who was just recently on the rebound) thought I was hot. BOOM okay great. Fast forward to that weekend and shes at the same party. We start talking a bit and shes being all flirty and touchy. she takes me where noone else is and we get closer and somehow I steer the conversation about her ex and if shes okay and that lasts for an hour. eventually she wants to go home cause shes bored. I third it. A few of my friends have done it and it has done wonders for their confidence, strength, social life--which are all connected in a way. One example is a friend who I played hockey with for some years. he was never over 130 lbs and was pretty frail looking. He wasn't the best socially either and always got torn apart in the dressing room. but after getting out of highschool he joined an MMA gym. After a few years he's now one of the best fighters in his weight class on the eastern sid…

not a power lifter. but after 4 years of lifting through trial and error- i agree. the best thing you can do is use low-medium weights and really engage the muscle group you are trying to build. there is no point in putting up some great weight if you are using your whole body to do so. really focus on each exercise and lift until fail!
