Tmi. Also; irresponsible and a dumb excuse.

You said you didnt take emergency contraceptives because you can’t afford it yet you chose to have unprotected sex which can cause you to fall pregnant. It’s probably fine now but I hope you don’t risk it next time.

We met online, he had bad pictures but I wanted to date outside my type after multiple failed “situationships” so I decided to give it a go. Our conversations were so fun that I was convinced to see him in real life and our first date was great too. He’s attractive, responsible, comes from a family that’s better off than mine and he is very sweet and attentive. I am very blessed to have him.

As someone who ended up marrying outside her “type”, I 1000% agree!

You should set a reminder for this comment for a year or two from now. I promise you will laugh at the idea of ever feeling this way about that guy. It gets better.

This will be a hard lesson for you to learn but you have to know you can’t rely on anybody but yourself (and God, if you’re religious). Take this time to TRULY heal from your past traumas and you will see that the man you eventually end up picking will be trustworthy. Sometimes we pick wrong because we aren’t confident enough to know what to look for.

That is so blatant, and he’s just cool with her exposing him online like that? What a dumbass. You’d expect a resident to be smarter. Sorry this is happening to you.

At that point you’re just making the relationship up in your head. There is no relationship to be had.
/r/RedPillWomen04/06/25 04:23 AM

You can not be this bothered about small things. You just can’t. You won’t survive literally general life.
/r/RedPillWomen16/04/25 03:45 AM

You can, but you are going to have to ask yourself if you would be okay with him continuing to do it. Because he probably will.

I’d always imagined intimacy between two compatible people waiting for marriage would still be quite passionate and possibly exploring limits in moments of weakness. It sounds like maybe you aren’t as sexually compatible but the good news is there can be lots of training and practice if you’re both willing. I also second the other commenter about the possible porn addiction, porn is something that needs to be banned from the relationship asap.

I agree with her. It seems like he really does a lot for you.

How is he in your relationship now? Is he selfish, does he disregard your feelings? Or is he generally thoughtful and appreciative of you? Kids tend to heighten any pre-existing problems.
/r/RedPillWomen18/04/24 02:07 PM

Maybe it’s just the way he talks? I’d bring it up again and make clear how it makes you feel. See if he improves, if not you’ll know for sure he does it on purpose.

He could be projecting. Its something cheaters do. Also, boyfriend of 6 years?

Why are you asking to be feminine? You should be asking how to get this leech (pardon my french) out of your house & bank account asap. Its hard to maintain femininity when you are taking the role of the man. I’m sorry you’re going through this.

Happens to my partner - boners aren’t always sexual.

What do you do when he does engage with you? Talking is important, but you must make talking a safe space, not a trap. Reward initiative not by chewing him out but by openness and acceptance.
/r/RedPillWomen06/11/23 06:02 PM

I set a boundary early on in my relationship where I asked my fiance to remove a female friend he had feelings for in the past from his socials. I explained why and he did it without protest. Whether you think its important or not is very much personal, I knew for myself I wouldnt be able to let it go if he disagreed. But maybe thats toxic.

I bought myself a gaming laptop so I could game with my now fiance about a month into dating. I got really into one specific nerdy game that has practically no female players but is his favourite game. I ended up really enjoying it and we now play games together all the time. I would say it is one of the main things that strenghtened our bond, especially during lockdown. If she wanted to she would!😅

I think priorities change. What I wanted at 21 was a hot guy, what I wanted at 25 when I met my partner was reliability and stability.

Yes!!! For me it took until I was 25 to stop pretending to want something serious and actually want it. I met my partner pretty much immediately after.

You know how people say women grow up before men? I think that’s only partly true. I met my partner when I was 25 and he 28 and I am 100% sure if we would have met sooner we would have had the same outcome. (Except I probably wasn’t ready for it.) He has always been loyal and it has always been the women (he had poor judgement in women before me) who screwed it up by cheating and mental health issues. My brother is the same way, he would go to the ends of the earth and be forever loyal to someon…

Most men are a bit fucked up in the head. They may see a confident person who is happy in their own life and doesn’t necessarily need a man as a threat. Because they can probably smell that they can’t fuck with you. The right man however will be happy you are the way you are. That however doesn’t nean you shouldn’t be kind and receiving and open to them. Maybe subconsciously you judge them before giving them a chance, and it becomes a sort of self fulfilling prophecy? Either way give it time, yo…

You’re supposed to be vetting him but instead you have shown all your cards and now the power is in his hands. That’s a bad place to be early on. I feel like nothing good can come of this but if you want to proceed I would be more reserved with affection (no more sex or elaborate makeout sessions until he defines the relationship). Also probably meet up once or twice a week max. And only recipocate, not too much initiating!

My partner of 4 years who now pays for everything made me pay my half of the first few dates too (he did initiate every date). I didnt think twice about it at the time (i would feel different now). I get the argument that men should pay etcetera but on the other hand I find it a bit strange to make a complete stranger who you have no loyalty towards yet responsible for the bill. Like I can understand why a man wouldn’t pay on the first few dates. Probably just me though. Edit: we also met when w…

For men its more often than not about time, not person. If he communicates his plans and they aren’t compatible with yours its definitely not his fault that you stick around in hopes he might change his mind.
/r/RedPillWomen12/04/23 05:03 AM

You can change your mind, literally. Positive thoughts can be trained.
/r/RedPillWomen05/10/22 04:27 AM

That first sentence combined with the fact that he is 37 alone should raise some red flags.

Be clear about your intentions from the get go, its all about attitude. Men arent ready for somthing serious until they are. You could meet him anywhere as long as you are consistent and you dont lower your standards for anyone.

His attitude towards life. He once, when I asked him how he doesnt get overwhelmed by his responsibilities, said “as a man you pick a load and you carry it”. He is caring, loving, a geniunely nice guy and he provides for us. I am so beyond lucky to have him.

I dont know why your comment is getting upvotes because it sounds like you are blaming her for being blindsided which in this context is weird to say the least.

Seriously, even if they were about to break up he should have still shown some concern. Heck, id be concerned if a complete stranger told me they had a chemical burn accident. He must have really been trying hard to disassociate for a while. His loss, shes better off.

Its an oversimplification, a generalization of the definition of “gym bro”, but there is truth to it. I guess we dont all have the laws of this sub memorized.

You dont have a chance with him. You have children, you cant afford to think about chasing a man almost half your age. If you want to find a man find one your own age or older, someone well established. Best of luck.

I can relate, my advice would be learn to forgive yourself and let go. Also; you dont have to disclose your exact bodycount to your partner. If you have changed it is no longer relevant to you as a person.

Its not generally my experience that people here encourage just leaving a spouse.
/r/RedPillWomen24/04/22 04:54 AM

Im sorry but this is terrible advice. Its not her fault and she doesnt need to change her wording in this situation . Unless she is actually being disrespectful, which isnt the case, the fault lies with him.
/r/RedPillWomen24/04/22 04:52 AM

You shouldnt have to walk on eggshells, especially not around your partner. If he doesnt TRUST you and the fact that you mean nothing by your use of words, he needs to work on that. Sure if you spoke in a completely derogatory/rude/disrespectful manner it would be a you problem but that doesnt seem to be the case at all.

You can have a conversation with him about it and how you feel but honestly if you can find another place to stay do it. They are two seperate issues.

You started dating him when you were 20, still very early on in your development. He sounds more like a bad teacher than a partner. Not the healthiest dynamic it seems.

I see... That changes things, you should mention it in your post. Could he be going through something you may not know about? Some men tend to withdraw themselves when they are having a hard time and not want the additional stress of having to explain why. I don't doubt your good intentions but it does take a wholeass man to see the rules to a subreddit, disregard them and then make a post about exactly what this space isnt for you know? Yep!! Ive realised my mom, who was raised by a feminist hippie (my grandmother) who abandoned her strict church and lived with a man much younger than her (my grandfather), kind of envies my relationship because my boyfriend does so many things for me my dad doesnt really do for her. That"s the thing with the use of these broad generalisations like "men" and "women". No woman wants to please all men. Especially not in this sub, we don't look to please all men. We're interested in pleasing our man, singular, whom we are dating or married to. And that's a perfectly healthy, normal and admirable thing to strive for.
/r/RedPillWomen20/03/22 01:58 AM

There are a lot of things kinda wrong with that as Im sure we all know - its like the number one move not to make if you want anything other than a fling from a (high value) man.

When I first started dating my partner we lived in different cities so I would always bring him muffins when I came over (about twice a month). Blueberry, chocolate chip, apple etc. He says its one of the things that made him fall in love with me :') Id always make a tray, which was about 8 in my student house oven, and he'd eat them throughout the week. Woah, stubbed your toe? Coming off a bit harshly dont you think? Not that its any of your business but I am in a happy long term relationship. I never said she doesnt have anything to prove but if you seriously think her persuing him is a good idea, especially after only 3 weeks, why are you here? This is red pill women and its about traditional relationships and gender roles. You clearly didnt even properly read my comment before you started spewing whatever this is.
/r/RedPillWomen21/02/22 02:32 PM

3 weeks is nothing, I think you are definitely overthinking it at this point. I made a similar mistake once (even though the guy ended up being trash) but you cant assume he just wants to pick up where you left off. You hurt him in a way and its going to take some time for him to want to fully commit to you, if ever again. Id say give it 3 months and absolutely dont sleep together until you are completely official. If he isnt ready to commit then, break it off. You are wasting your time. Edit; o…

/r/RedPillWomen13/02/22 05:55 AM

Yeah and to a man that would be equally bad advice. Bottling up emotions is never a good idea as it only causes more issues in the long run. OP, dont listen to this person. They sound like they have issues themselves.
/r/RedPillWomen07/02/22 06:12 AM

The reasons dont really matter as they dont change the outcome or the situation that put you there. It takes time but you will see things clearly. That will give you your answers and closure. But first you have to move on completely. Dont expect answers from him, no answer he can give you will satisfy the need you feel right now to still be with him. But thats part of it, you know its unhealthy and you have to choose yourself.

If I recall correctly, he was in his 40s and I said he would probably be married to an arab muslim girl soon after moving. This might come off a bit extreme but here's what I would do: Cut him off, close any and all "doors", be clear and direct and dont let him persuade you. Ghost him. Delete his number and block him on all social media. Throw away/sell/put away (outside of your living space) anything he gave you/that reminds you of him. My boyfriend is absolutely in love with me but isnt much of a romantic either. The way he shows his love is through acts of service. Simple things like when im away doing the dishes that have been piling up and Ive been procrasting on and paying all of our shared bills. Just because his love language is different doesnt mean hes not in love.

When do you try to talk to him? Is it in the heat of the moment or after, when things have calmed down? I have a hotheaded father and one thing I learnt growing up with him is that there is no reasoning in the heat of the moment. I think both individual and couple's therapy would be a good idea for you both. And remember if you both still are willing there is a way to resolve all this. You just have to both be willing to listen to eachother and not lose respect for one another.

I was going to suggest the exact same thing. In addition, I get the feeling that this is a man who has already slipped up and is trying to paint you as a terrible person to excuse the possible cheating/ease his guilt. Isnt the whole point of being a red pill women to find a red pill man? We can’t change men, remember? If he isnt the marrying kind he wont ask you to marry him no matter what. Which makes him not a match for you. Why do we assume all men DESPISE the idea of marriage and have to be manipulated/tricked into proposing? A man isnt like a company and marriage is only in part a business agreement. Men have feelings too yall!

Yeah no sleeping with men immediately will make them think of you as a fuck buddy, nothing more. Wait at least 3 months or until you’re officially in a stable relationship to start having sex.

Nah, I agree with a lot of things he says. But I dont think he should be trusted without fact checking yourself first.

Ben Shapiro loves cherrypicking stats to support his personal beliefs.

I want to say this is a good “strategy” but honestly feel like this would only “work” on very specific men. Ive been living with my boyfriend for a while now (1,5 years) and I know he won’t get pressured into anything by ultimatums like these (only a very thick-headed man won’t see this as an ultimatum if brought up in conversation). He personally doesnt even see the need in marriage but he knows I do so he says he will pop the question (his words.) The’res a lot to be said about just going with…

Good to know that before you get tied up legally right?😂

Well that honestly only validates my opinion even more. He chose to invade your privacy and go look for trouble very early on. That says more about him than it did about you. Have you considered maybe the reason you feel bad is more because you feel bad about the choices you made in the past? And he kind of gaslit you into thinking it’s all about that one situation? This all sounds very recognisable to me because I was also a lot more “free” in my “previous life” before my current relationship. …

Why did you even tell him girl you weren’t official you should have kept it to yourself. In my opinion he has no real right to still be angry about it😅

Maybe he realised he shouldnt talk about these things as much if he’s not ready to actually go through with it yet

Yeah girl he sounds seriously mentally messed up. You should really consider getting out while you can. You’re young and this doesnt seem fo be worth it.

He sounds…. SUPER insecure? Which is a problem he should solve and not take out on you, btw.

I get that! My experiences with online dating are 99% terrible too. Guess I just did enough filtering😆

I met my partner on OKcupid. I guess my harsh reality would be “if you don’t come across dateable men in your day to day life you might need to try online dating or find a way to meet new people”🤣

My boyfriend had one of those, but he broke off the friendship because I wasnt comfortable with it like 2 months into dating. She wanted to meet up w him alone and I was like nope, that won’t fly with me. I would never ask him to but he told her he wouldn’t see her anymore because I wasnt comfortable. She flipped out at him. Nothing ever actually happened between them but that made me feel like he made the right choice. He has another female friend who I am 100% cool with because I know they are…

On the weight thing… dont do keto!! A diet wont help you, eat healthier and speak with a dietician about how many calories you should be eating. And move more! I am currently going through it, 114 kilos and 1.70 in height. I am allowed to eat 1400 calories a day. I have done keto before and lost some weight with it but in the long run it is not a sustainable or healthy way of eating and quitting keto made me gain all the weight back. Remember its about a lifestyle change, not a diet.

6 months is not a long time at all. Be patient. When he talks about the future, are you in it? What’s his opinion on marriage, are his parents divorced?

Emotions are not a bad thing, emotions make us human and I dont think you can truly know or love a person unless you know them completely. The rational and the emotional. I tell my boyfriend I love him multiple times a day and we mean it every time we say it. It is not more valuable if you say it less often if you ask me. You can not have a honest relationship without emotion. Emotion =/= drama. It honestly sounds like you were trying to be a different person because you were afraid he wouldnt a…

Do you have a good concealer? If not, find one that looks pretty natural (I personally really like bourjois healthy mix and milk makeup flex concealer). buy it in a shade that matches your skin perfectly and one shade lighter with a slightly peachy undertone. The lighter one is for under the eyes, the darker one for on the face. Watch this video on how to apply! https://youtu.be/7Pv7B2NirqU Lisa Eldridge is fantastic for all things makeup basics. Trust me, you dont really need foundation but if …

Tinder probably isn’t the place for you. Try okcupid, its where I met my man! You can put your abstinence in your bio or interests if you want to seperate the wheat from the chaff.
