It actually goes a long way towards it, there's a cap on how much you can make in the military and it's honestly not that much v time left in service. But it can't make up for his follow-on jobs (assuming he would have any) and the good he could have done during his service. That's the real shirt part

I'm kinda behind this a bit - socially we have a problem, and the end result of this problem is that girls are being raised to be cautious, and when you live in an environment when you're told that something can happen you eventually react that way. I'm definitely not saying it's right at all, but at the same time when my daughter starts dating I'm going to talk to her about safe practices.

My problem is that there are real issues here that will barely be considered because the senator used and exaggerated argument that turns it all into a joke. Not having access to abortion care is a huge problem, whether you agree with it or not. Now that's insulting. The problem isn't my wife, it's that society has trained women that it's okay to slap if someone "deserves it," she was a victim of society as much as I was, I just had a stinging sensation afterwards. Then we addressed it like adults.

I actually approve of this. Consent was granted on the basis of condom use, if the terms of sex change then consent had to be re-acquired. This is simple, male or female, if you don't have consent it's rape.

No. If you want a serious policy it should be that everyone's contributions weigh equally, and everyone's actions stand on their own for accountability. If you want a serious policy it should be without bias and presumption

Stepped up my game in what sense? I typed less. Far less. And explained very little. If anything my game stepped down I like how you say "respect is a subjective term" and then say I gave you none - I gave you both plenty by not attacking you individually, and by addressing the issue instead of the author directly, and by asking probative questions in your case. You'll not that while you're telling me how I lack things, and he is telling me what I should do, all I've done is ask polite questions…

I'm sorry, what about my post is toxic? That I don't care to partake in another persons fight? That I have a clear argument against it? That I expound on the reasoning of the argument? Or that I have something about it that I laugh about?

Yeah I'm not here to fight one person' perceptualized war against advertisers. I don't care about advertisements, and statements like that turn everything into "dribble" without discerning the root, cause, or legitimacy of an article. In this specific case the article is sourced to the British Medical Journal and is peer-reviewed regardless of content. You make things harder to accomplish on social media and they go away. Create the environment you want to "punish advertisers" who don't give two…

/r/MensRights03/12/15 07:47 PM

What exactly does this have to do with Men's Rights? No man is losing a job in this case, competition is still to a standard for the jobs, and the opportunity for equality is actually there.

Sure, here's general cause for incidence and overall satisfaction, here's comparisons between adults in non-American countries that have been pre and post, but here is the principle. I really don't know where you're going with "circumcised guys have to try harder to compensate for their dried-out glanses[sic]" though
/r/MensRights07/08/15 12:44 PM
0

Oddly enough, studies suggest circumcision increases the sexual sensations. Good thing we didn't continue circumcision for the same reasons or else we'd we WAY out in left field on this one
/r/MensRights06/08/15 12:55 PM
0

I think the issue of circumcision is important and I think the logic behind an option body modification of anyone is specious without their consent. That line gets kinda blurry though in argument. Personally, I think that every man should get a circumcision because the difference in sexual pleasure as an adult is absolutely incredible edit - the complication risk for adults who get circumcisions is actually really really big, I wouldn't condone anyone doing it without personal research. It's sad…
/r/MensRights05/08/15 02:23 PM

For circumcision, I'd have to say a couple things - staunch defensiveness in the face of aggression, and inter-societal pressure
/r/MensRights05/08/15 02:13 PM
0

Nope, that's a slippery slope analogy. One does not necessarily lead to another.
/r/MensRights05/08/15 01:10 PM
1

See, right to the polarization. Try that again without it
/r/MensRights05/08/15 12:57 PM
-1

Part of the problem with the issue is just that, as soon as you say circumcision people start grabbing their pitchforks
/r/MensRights04/08/15 11:18 PM
-1

That's because you're projecting. I care about circumcision but not the issue because society has polarized the issue so much. You can't have a conversation about it without assumptions and screaming. If you can't have a conversation then you can't resolve anything unless you force people to. Universally, screaming doesn't change people's minds. Force them one way or another and you'll just get fundamentalists. Only way to get rid of fundamentalists is to get them to stop screaming back at you o…

I'm lazy, more info?
/r/MensRights04/08/15 11:07 PM
3

I'm tracking everything you are saying, but I can't agree that circumcision is caused by fear. All the arguments I've seen are principle based, not fear. If you approach it like you're fighting a "Worry Over Image" concern then I think you'll miss out on the real motivators and not get anywhere
/r/MensRights04/08/15 11:07 PM
3

I'm gonna add this to my "Ire" list, thanks for that
/r/MensRights04/08/15 11:03 PM
1

See, inequality. Now try that again without pointing fingers or assuming what my position is on circumcision and we can start to have real discourse.
/r/MensRights04/08/15 11:02 PM
4

There's so much ire on the issue that I as soon as circumcision is mentioned all conversation tends to go out the window. No matter what the opinion is. Even saying you don't want to take a stance or have an argument about it gets downvoted on this sub - maybe those people feel that "selective downvoting" is the only way to get other issues to rise to the surface. ninjedit - watch the downvotes commence because I suggested there were other trains of conversation to have
/r/MensRights04/08/15 10:59 PM
1

See? Doesn't matter what side of the argument I'm on, the assumptions begin and shouting commences immediately. Are you saying that the rest of my points mean nothing in the light of me not taking an argumentative stance on circumcision?
/r/MensRights04/08/15 10:50 PM
-1

Honestly I don't care about the circumcision issue, some people will, some people won't, both sides will scream about it and hyperbole will flow. The men's rights issue that bothers me the most is the disparity of equality. It's fine to say that men are treated one way and women another, but you don't reach equality by saying men must be treated worse to treat women better. You don't take away from men to give to women. Instead you raise up the underpriveleged to the same status. This is also my…
