1	Women should stop trying to give men dating advice I think joining a community is good advice. But I don't think joining (or even finding) communities is as straightforward as it seems. It has to be a community that you like in and of itself. So it has to be something you're interested in. If you live in NYC, that's no problem. Tons of little meetups, intramural sports, etc. But if you live anywhere else (even a big-but-not-huge city, e.g. SLC or Charleston SC) then your options are surprisingly limited. 2	What’s the best US City for a single man? Yeah...Austin has a ton of younger people, and the dating here is good. People in Austin are not looking to make friends with your average Redditor though. It's frat/sorority city out here. (And SEC frat/sorority at that.) It's also crazy expensive relative to most places in the US. All that said, yeah, you'll have more dating luck than usual.
