I feel like if it's through messaging, block and delete is obv the choice. Turning the tables would be okay irl, but knly for the shock value and to emphasize how ridiculous they are.

Yup. They know what they did, you don't have to remind them.

"profound feeling of dread in the pit of my stomach", you described it so perfectly. We'll be okay, amd we're not putting up with that anymore!

I've been watching it and it infuriates me how neither of them were staying with each other. Derek was married for f's sake. When he chose his wife, they should have left each other alone.

When thinking about him made me cry between classes, or at night.

I see and understand where you're coming from. Med school is expensive, and having the money to review, to research, and to enroll gives a huge advantage to those who have the resources. In a better world, med school wouldn't be so expensive; more people would have access. In my country, the ratio of doctors to patients is 1:40,000, very far from the ideal 1:10,000 as stated by the WHO. Many in my country want to be doctors, but because of the fees, it is said that studying to be a doctor is for…

Pre-med is hard. I imagine medical school to be so much harder. He's undermining her success, saying that with her money anyone could go to medical school. It takes hard work and determination, and he can't accept that a girl could be younger, smarter, and have more money than him, so he negs her and calls her a brat.

Yup. This is why I only date my age range. Sure, you can say that most guys my age are young, immature college kids (like me,) but I'd rather not be taken advantage of by older guys. I'd rather wait.

It's kind of a red flag though isn't it, him asking you if you would change YOUR body for HIS preference?

Honestly I was so disappointed that some people I know liked the thread and agree with it- and they're girls too. Way to bring down other girls and encourage men to be low effort.

That's true, which is why we should not settle for less. I also love that you said that there's always room to level up.

I understand the bit about adequate birth control. The reason why I have this stance is because I live in a country where abortion is definitely not an option, and probably won't be for the next 10 years. I'm not against it, but most of the country is, sadly. I guess that highlights the importance of being picky in choosing a man.

I mean, just like it's possible for a HVW to have a child while still not married, it's also possible for a HVM to be the same. It's a matter of preference whether or not you'd want to date someone with kids, but having kids does not necessarily mean that someone is LV.

Double standards are weird like that. FDS tells us however not to settle for less.

That's true, but ultimately, it's her decision. Her friends don't even know the guy, and is judging based on looks, because he's not attractive in their opinion. OP on the other hand is atrracted, and that's what matters right now.

Please, please, please stay safe, OP. Leave, and rebuild your life. Never go back, you'll never be happy with him. He is a threat to you and the kids; call the cops. Go ni contact with abusive family members. Learn to love yourself because when you do, you'll never accept less than you deserve, ever again. You are worth it. Your chikdren are worth it. Life is worth living, so live your life to the fullest. It starts now.

"Scared" doesn't matter. You deserve a man who is sure about you and is clear about his intentions. Good on you for dumping him, and for valuing your time by not letting a guy play games.

She had planned it really well, having a body language coach and everything. I'm honestly so mad that she gets so much hate due to this man dominated culture but I'm so proud that despite all the hate thrown at her she rose above it all and is better than all those LVM throwing shade at her. you really can't bring a good woman down :))

Lol, PH doesn't even have divorce yet. And some of them think that that's something to be proud about 🥱

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
