He's not saying that they have to prove anything at the interview. He's saying that they have to prove that her off duty remarks and opinions would influence and interfere with her duties at work when they try and fire her

Exactly what I mean. It hurts poor people much more to lose half of all their assets.

I think it's even worse if you aren't a millionaire. If you have 10 million and lose 5, it hurts, but you're still rich. If you only have 100k of which 90 are your house and you lose half of that, you're screwed.

This is my Alma Mater. A school that changed its constitution to only use the female version of the noun for professor (Professorin instead of Professor/in or the usual Professor that includes both genders) and that created a mentoring programme exclusively for females to help them take up professorship. So no surprise?

I think the funds are not for females only but that's how Humboldt Uni decided to use them, wasn't so clear in the articles I read about it. That being said, there are initiatives to get more women into leading positions, so I can imagine that there are funds to help achieve that. Can't say anything on the legality of this, but I'm sure anything like it would be brought before our constitutional court (Bundesverfassungsgericht) if even the slightest detail seems discriminatory, for both genders.…

Article 33 of our constitution says that only merit and qualifications can be criteria for hiring somebody for public office, so this is unconstitutional. The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung tried to get a statement from various gender studies professors but they all declined to comment except for one, which said only qualifications can be a criterium not gender.

I live in London and am definitely not rich and you don't have to be to try and start a modeling career. There are so many jobs here you can do, you can arrange the hours around your modeling or whatever schedule. A friend did part time in a pub ( a big one). Two evenings a week would earn her 200 quid just in tips. That's enough for a shitty shared room and food+transport for a week and that's just 2 evenings. I'm sure if you have any kind of contacts in the industry you can find something that…

I work in a hotel and we had two cases of girls crying rape while I was working here. Luckily we have cameras in the corridors. One was a drunk backpacker that could be seen kissing the guy and dragging him into her room on CCTV. Next day, probably out of regret, she accused him of rape, but confronted with the footage she admitted the lie. The other was two guys and two girls. The girls, non residents, were rather well dressed, while the guys weren't. So very unlikely that they picked the girls…

I considered that, I think it depends on the time of the day and where you are. I'll try it later tonight maybe.

I live in London, this could go two ways: 1. I get no reaction whatsoever, but the occasional weird look (or people hurry past me because they think I'm a chugger) 2. Rotator cuff surgery because of all the high fives. I pass hundreds of people going to the nearest Tesco (3min walk) alone. I think 1. is more likely, but seems like something worth trying in a smaller place (with friendlier people)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
