3	That’s what I thought Because no one on Reddit grinds. They apply for 10 jobs and think that's their limit. My first software engineer job I got after applying to 250 jobs and doing something like 30 interviews in total, and I ended up with a great salary and bonus, and stocks. All without a degree. There really isn't an excuse for most of them. Then after about a year at that job, I applied for a senior software engineering position at a bunch of places, and got one and doubled my previous salary.	/r/PussyPassDenied	16/10/19 10:32 PM
1	That’s what I thought Or maybe he's in a specialized field with an already good job and is turning down non-unicorn jobs? I'm a senior software engineer at a T1000 company, I get recruiters sliding in my DMs almost every day, and I'm not talking about the general recruiter spam, but highly specific in-house recruiters. If I followed up on them and did the interview I could be in the same situation as this guy. That still doesn't mean that their offer is better than mine, or that I want to leave my current position.
