Nothing changed in mine. We already lived together, he financially supports me and I take care of all the household task. We had constant open communication about our expectations and needs in the relationship. I think the bigger problem is people connecting with partners who don’t actually share the same principles, goals and desired timelines and then they don’t find out until too late because their communication was lack luster.

I think the best course of action is to just clearly state your needs, maybe work through the book “the five love languages” together and discuss what each of you expect to see as expressions of love.

I think anyone who doesn’t identify as a feminist or isn’t interested in language policing gets slapped with the alt-right label. A lot of us are just classic libs.

Maybe he would see fun activities that result in a clear benifit in a better light. Taking a pottery class you leave with some new items and have directly improved a skill. Archery classes, woodworking classes, stained glass classes. These are all things my husband and I have been looking forward to trying.

My husband and I both wore rings through our engagement and then stopped after the wedding. I’ve never been a jewelry person and I found it uncomfortable, I never forgot it was in my finger. It doesn’t bother us at all but other people seem to notice we don’t wear them.

I 100% agree women are capable of doing those things and women who want to should have those rights. Also I would say that even though my husband and I have very different roles in our relationship we are still equals. That can manifest in many forms, this is the one I'm most comfortable in. Where the problem comes in for me is when there is so much focus on proving we can do what men can do it's kind of saying that yes men's roles in society are more important so we should all aspire to them ra…

This might step on some people's toes but I think being not okay with it is a projection of insecurities within ourselves and not a fault of men being unable to be close to a woman without romantic or sexual attraction. I think it totally sucks when I lose my guy friends because their new girl isn't cool with me for the pure fact that I'm a woman. If we compatible as a couple we probably would be a couple. I'm bi and my female friends partners don't restrict them in the same way. That's why if I…

It's no secret that the feminist/SJW community has somehow taken over and dominated a lot of groups that had reasonable principles. They are so desperate to PROVE that women can do anything men can do and 1000000000x better that they are ignoring the things that women are naturally talented with.

I am a housewife, I cook and take care of my husband in all the ways a classic kind of woman would be expected to. I'm not confrontational at all. But I actually went in the opposite direction for most of my young life and when I was much more promiscuous I was a very convicted libertarian and as I've gotten older (I'm 24 now) I have become more and more liberal. Not in the way of being offended all the time, or language policing but believing in the use of higher taxes, strong social programs a…

Don't get me wrong if I don't take medication my period has me crying in bed in a fetal position from the pain sometimes. But once I take something it's gone or at least a dull tolerable pain. If your periods are so bad that you cannot function even with OTC pain meds you probably need to see a doctor about it. If for some reason paid menstrual leave is implemented it should count towards the already allotted medical leave days.

I think men are just as nervous to say they want classic gender roles because they don't want to come off as sexist. Almost every date I went on before I found my partner mentioned that is was refreshing.

I'm an atheist and I met my SO on okcupid. I think as long as you make it clear you enjoy traditional gender roles up front someone who agrees with the mentality will come your way. It wont matter WHERE you found them.

My old roommate had pica and ate carpet cleaning products and when I took her to the hospital they considered it a suicide attempt even though it 100% was not.

I agree with their point on necrophilia, but it didn't have a place in this article. It just gives people more of an excuse to use some slippery slope argument against all the ideas presented.

I think men should have the right to choose as much as a woman but the stigma is stronger because if your choosing not to be a dad there is still a human walking around. If a woman chooses not to be a mom through abortion there isn't any living evidence. edit: I am NOT saying men should be able to stop me or any woman from having an abortion. I am saying that men should be able to opt out of parenthood just like a woman can.

I've been casually playing her videos and talks while I'm cooking or doing dishes and my boyfriend who before thought the idea of men's rights was ridiculous is starting to see the light.

I do believe that most of them THINK that they care about men's issues because to them all these social structures that they believe hurt women "hurt men too!" but clearly they aren't open to hearing what problems are actually affecting men right now.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
