I was the simp in a similar situation years ago, but my "what-if" moments now are like, "Damn, what if I had of married her, I would have most certainly been destroyed."

During my 20s it was kinda weird not to have tattoos but after 30 nobody gives a shit what you do. It's quite liberating.

I work in marketing. I dealt with them while we were in the office but thanks to COVID19, its remote work for me, baby! Honestly, I wouldn't care how they reacted to me on any given day. Their emotions are so fickle, you'd be a damn fool trying to establish something consistent from them. It's best to move in a state of avoidance.

Personally, I steer clear of these type of conversations with women. It smells of validation seeking. It's almost like discussing/debating politics with strangers at the bar. Oh how I miss the bar...

This looks amazing. Thanks for sharing! Hobbies and passions are the only comfort us men have and need to reach self-actualization.

It's amazing. I've known unemployed women to tell me about these "job opportunities," and I ask, did you file W4. Did they tell you you'll have to report your own 1099? Then it's not a job, it's a scam! As we all know, they still believe it may be legit.

I've broken every rule and multiple rules with the same woman a time or two hundred in my life, but one rule I've never broken is Rule #4 PAY ATTENTION TO HER ACTIONS NOT HER WORDS! And it was because of my adherence to Rule #4, I may have strayed from but never abandoned my path to autonomy and self-realization.

The female lurkers always ignore stories like this one because there's no refuting OP's experience. This man's experience is why we're all at this point in our lives. Keep fighting.

I'm a single father that dipped my toe back into dating before promptly cutting it off! My son called me a simp because I told him she wanted me to buy her new car tires within two weeks of "dating." I didn't describe MGTOW to my son, but really consider how we were as boys before puberty. Girls had cooties. We had all male friend circles. No Girls Allowed. All boys are MGTOW before our hormones kick it. MGTOW is just us coming around full circle with wisdom and knowledge to boot.

I agree with your response to OP. It seems the OP's intellectualism is clouding his perspective on his reality. There's no returning to the old way as a society. We're too far gone. If one seeks to live a certain way, then he can do so on his own terms. Feminism gained momentum once women joined the workforce as men fought WWII. Perhaps another WW would swing the pendulum further in the opposite direction, but do we really want that? Men have been "slaving away" for their wife and children for c…

I'd like to recommend a book by Maxwell Maltz called "Psycho-Cybernetics." In it, he discusses all human beings are born with a success seeking mechanism that essentially runs on auto pilot once you program it to seek a particular goal (whatever your self-talk may be at the time). That animal nature you mentioned, imo, is different for our respective genders. Men are taught to believe this, while women that. Women do seek men for looks first, then after they've been beat upside the head in life …

Thanks for your input u/GlobalAsshat. I try to balance my extrovert side with my introvert side. I discovered long ago I have a knack for asking questions and making women feel comfortable enough to talk. Many times, they tell me things I doubt they would ever tell another masculine soul. I talk so much, and they get comfortable, I ask about abortions, anal, do you swallow, threesomes, to what's your relationship like with your dad? Oh he's a narcissist? How so? What was your childhood like? How…

Asking for an expensive essential item like that was a huge red flag. Speaks volumes about how she saw me and her character. The very intellect she was attracted to was the reason I said no I don’t feel like we should be dating anymore. Her response was to deflect, mention her love language was gift giving (please), and compare me to other men who I guess cashapp’ed her for no reason at all during the courtship phase.

I like to don my tinfoil hat every now and then. I suspect the lowering birthrates motivated the "shelter in place" edict. Knowing human nature, if there's a quarantine, what else is there to do? Have sex. Overtime, people become careless with the birth control.

From a differing perspective, luck can come from hardship. You can be a loser all your life, overcome a drug/alcohol addiction and because of that be paid large sums of money to inspire others. Luck doesn’t always involve hard work.

If you're going to be nice, then be nice with no expectation. Sounds like you're just being nice for an ego trip. You were probably giving off that vibe and she saw your insincerity coming from a mile away. A guy without family to spend Christmas with would appreciate a sixer from his bro. Women don't think like us, so that same consideration doesn't translate in their minds the way it does for us. Think about it: If a woman has been treated like trash for three years in a row, then that's what …

I was in a sub called I Don't Work Here Lady or something like that and this yelling rape/assault false allegations seem to be the default for asshats like this. I'm going to take heed to "interacting with women as little as possible" because this seems to be happening quite often. By the way, do you think when the white knight inevitably becomes #MeToo'd, will his mind run the same program or will his eyes open, coming to us with cap in hand, ready to apologize? Lol, this thread is pretty funny. Now I see what the guys at MGTOW2 talk about. OP, I may be wrong but you seem like a decent, honorable person. My 60 year old uncle tried to shame me when I didn't feel sorry for a guy that got his ass blown off trying to jump into a domestic violence situation outside of a nightclub. Apparently, ITA because good people defend those in peril. Ummm yeah right. Most young people know of or have heard of someone falling victim trying to save a damsel in distress. Hell, trying to defend your own gf from guys' catcalls and harassment will put your ass at risk.

Hey, bro, where do you live? I'm in metro Washington, D.C. and no one gives me flack for not having a motor vehicle except for suburban broke chicks who live in a townhouse with 4-5 other broke "educated, independent" single chicks. That was my point behind the post. At first, I did this because I knew it would differentiate myself from other men and give me an advantage on scoring with the ladies. Now, when I do it, I feel better about myself. There's a paradigm shift that happens insidiously.

A quick recap of my simp journey. I caught one-itis while growing into quite the combative asshole. After I left one relationship (due purely to distance/move) I tried desperately to jump into another while still being an asshole. I pay child support for my kid in Tennessee. You just have to educate yourself on the state laws. And also bank on if your child’s mother is smart or dumb enough to use the court system against you. She could not know much and you could come out with $300 a month or she could be renewing that crap every time you get a new job or promotion and it’ll be a PITA.

I'm glad you're seeing the light. The less women know about you the better. Please stop confiding in them. Try talking about boring stuff like work, paying bills, homework, studying, bible study. She did you a favor. In less than 10 years, you'll see her and be thankful she did break up with you. The feeling you feel will go away. It takes time. Take advantage of this period in your life to (I know it sounds cliche) better yourself for yourself. Be happy with your truck purchase, think about how to use it in a business endeavor, get happy about school, and don't look back to women providing you happiness. That is impossible, and akin to living in a fool's paradise.

Do something like this: When a woman is flirting with you or making her intentions known, start to talk about your belief in Christ and how sex outside of marriage goes against God's natural order. Start talking about the spiritual battle between good and evil and how there's no in between. Emphasize the importance of family and how it's being destroyed by destroying men. Throw in there how you do not commit sin (they'll respond everybody commits …

Lol, I've been there, buddy. Met a single mom on Tinder and resisted until I couldn't anymore. She immediately went cold on me. Standard manipulation tactics: once I'm hooked, she tried reeling me in. My solution was to ghost her, block her on all social media, and blocked her number. Later on I unblocked her but remained no contact. I have a theory that to avoid oneitis, DO NOT sleep with the same woman more than once. Oneitis seems to snowball after sex. It's a slow build up of texting/calls, …

Idk man, this article reads like a how-to manual for women looking for a husband/provider/sucker. It explicitly guides women on how to trigger a man's "mate-guarding instinct" in order to manipulate him into "choosing" her. The only thing I would do is change "mate-guarding instinct" to "oneitis." What they call an instinct is really just a guy who has forgotten about all the other women he has available to him.

Before #MeToo, I told my married college buddy, "Hey man, I don't believe anything coming out of a woman's mouth." That may have seemed radical years ago, but it damn sure makes sense to the simpletons out here more than ever before.

This is the very reason I stopped consulting my friends suffering from female brainwashing. Somehow they feel like I have a problem or I need to "embrace my feminine side" in order to have success with women, while in the same breath, admitting to all the vile behavior they've experienced and witnessed firsthand from their sisters, mother, and female acquaintances.

Good advice. I've been doing this ever since I received a raise and bonus. In my mind, I think family, but I treat my past two LTR like the Twin Towers during 9/11. Never forget!!!! Ok, no shade being thrown here. This seems like an appropriate post in r/MGTOW. What OP is describing seems to me like a hobby or passion. Long ago, I wasn't into sex as much as I was into receiving abundant attention from beautiful ladies. For any man that's into this sort of thing, it's really the male version of being a modern day young woman except men can do it better and for decades longer.

Again, on point. I feel like this is the difference in MGTOW and Incels. Outsiders gonna shame but we know better. Incels don’t know. They want in. We know. Your point is logically made. I would ask you to consider the ramifications of being unforgiving to an individual who doesn't care if you die or walk on water. Good point, way too many typos. Not sure how many here are bible thumpers but in the Gospel the Christ urges his followers to forgo fornication AND lustful thoughts, equally. As I’ve been free from women for years now, I recently developed a crush and found myself thinking of her before bed. Now I cannot get her out of my mind and have the hots for her. Sexing women in your mind creates the same emotional attachment as repeatedly smashing the FWB or GF in real life.

I read your reply and I'm not sure how to respond, so I left all three here for you to digest: Apathetic Me - Are you done crying in your beer, bro? Empathetic Me - I feel bad for you bro. I can imagine how it feels to think like this cause I've been there and it's clearly the result of past traumas. Big Bro Me - Are you going to live on your knees or die on your feet? Appreciate yourself and conquer your internal narrator cause this BS story he's writing has you on shaky ground.

Is it safe to assume she has to have a personality due to her visible handicap? Well, as I write this, I guess not because men are the ones that have to "develop a personality" if their looks aren't cutting it. Awww, the better question would be are guys shallow enough to avoid her due to her visible handicap? And, if so, is she, as a woman, adequately cognizant enough to form this deduction and hash out a plan to actually develop something valuable to bring to the table? In other words, conside…

You'll overcome the financial damage in due time. Meanwhile, tattoo that rage on your mind's eye so you don't become a lotus-eater again. Apathy is temporary if you have a pulse and hormones. In theory, and in practice, one can shift from anger to passion as long as you shift your focus to a worthy, achievable goal instead of your recent loss.

It's been my experience women in relationships hate their mate's best friend (if he's single). To add fuel to her fire, he's a bouncer at a titty bar. He's authoritative yet sociable and knows dancers on a first name basis. Lol, she doesn't give a rats ass, she's trying to keep a rat's ass. He's his friend's strongest life line. And he came through and saved his manz from a lot of heartache.

I still look, but I've been reading this subreddit faithfully for a month now to keep my mind rooted in reality. This week I noticed a slight change in how I view women. I like your point. I keep reminding guys that women do NOT love like us. Men expect their spouse/gf to love them like their mother. Women are incapable of loving like your mother. They can only love a man's children like that. Like you said, women love (or how we understand, "enjoy") the physical, financial and emotional security a man provides. You should see how women react when I share this information with them. It's not really offensive, but they find it to be which is also a plus.

All good replies. Just to add, I too sometimes fantasize about having a LTR with a unicorn. But you must realize, women of today are enemies to your happiness and mental well being. Most women will cheat on their partner in 2019. The few that don't are unable or incapable of cheating. Unless you want to play that game of constantly dating/courting her, there's nothing to ruminate on. Men will cheat depending on his character or sobriety. Any man worth his salt takes a partner to build with. Women get bored with building. Jesus was single because women don't want a carpenter, they want an entertainer.

This. I simply consider flirting as a game. Like one responder mentioned playing with poisonous snakes. Some get a thrill out of it. There is danger of falling in your feelings but if you’re secure then I feel like it would be like Evil Knievel and this is just a trick you’re good at.

The catch is it has to be real indifference. Your question leads me to believe you're seeking something from women that they are incapable of giving to you. Flirting IMO should first and foremost benefit me. I don't want to be on their radar, but if I am in the moment, then what's in it for me? A respite from temporary lonliness; a free shot/beer; extra french fries.

To quote u/georgesoyros: When a woman sees a Chad, she's going after him anyway. When I was shy and desperate, I engaged in active flirting to no avail. Now that I mind my own business, I seem to be in responsive flirting mode just by being nice and attentive to those who are nice to me. I dealt with this when I had a gf and without. I agree meditation and mindfulness will disempower those thoughts. May take a few weeks may take six months. Create counter arguments for those feelings and just be aware of them when they come and say good bye when they leave. In my experience, when those type of thoughts return, I simply look and say I’m not alone. I’m comforted.
