Agreed! I’m like leave that lady alone 😂

I think the GF is being annoying in RL for continually trying with someone who doesn’t want to be her friend and annoying for beating around the bush in this post. Seems like she’s doing this BECAUSE deep down she thinks something is going on, in which case she needs to address it or leave him. If not, I think it is weird and thirsty how she keeps trying with someone who is rejecting her. My read is the “friend” is getting embarrassed and or cheated on by her baby daddy and is terrified the gf w…

Way back in my college days, I had sex with an older guy I BARELY knew (I know, yikes). The next day he facetimed me in the middle of the night to ask if that was my first time, it was so ridiculous I trolled him and went along with it to see what he’d say. He wanted to know what made me “choose him” and that he was “honored” I busted out laughing like “it was NOT my first time lmfao wtf”. It was so gross how excited he seemed about it. Back to the topic at hand lol: I didn’t tell my at the time…

Agree! I think if it’s very early on it’s possible that there is confusion or miscommunication, the radical direct approach works to get things clear. But if you know he’s playing games just block and delete

Yep. She fucked up when she pursued him and let him know she was basically desperate for him. He used and abused her as they usually do. Don’t ever be desperate for a man and work on your appearance and self esteem before dating so you don’t get taken advantage of. Men prey on this.

We’re talking about men here not women. You’re derailing, babe.

The tea here is that his girlfriend convinced herself that a random ass walk through the park was a “romantic date” (and prob thought she was low maintenance unlike the OtHeR GiRLs) UNTIL she found out that other girls were out here being wined and dined lol.

? Yikes this is all terrible for everyone involved. If it happened to me would’ve just blocked her and him immediately bc what in the nonsense

Disagree... If you’re in a big city literally homeless men on the side walk will ask you on a date on the way from work.

I’ve told an ex-boyfriend before, he sulked then asked for ways that he could improve. Tips are don’t fake it and don’t have the convo before/during the act. I did it shortly after, I ask “how was it for you?” And if he’s worth a damn he’ll ask it back (if he doesn’t please stop having sex with him) and you can just tell him the truth.

Thissss! It could just be offhandedly too. I’ve called a guy I’d only gone on a few dates with my boyfriend to the bartender/valet or my Uber driver just because it’s easier than explaining our not yet defined relationship.

You could not have been nicer in this rejection. No matter what you say they’re update/snippy/straight up angry, which is why we ghost their asses. Good luck with the next date girlfriend :)

My city is like this...The women are GORGEOUS, well dressed, and take care of themselves. The men are bleh (not generally horribly ugly) and most rely on money to get women.

Sounds like a love bomber to me too. All the guys I’ve dated that asked for exclusivity very early on we’re crazy/insecure/possessive. Don’t let him pressure you, move at your own speed, tell him you plan to to that. If that upsets him run far away because he’s crazy Also ladies she’s 21 and hormone-filled, I think she’s allowed some making out lol.

Echoing he just wasn’t that into you. Guys into you don’t talk to you like this, nor will they get snappy with you and text you “byeeee” after the slightest disagreement. Either way he had no plan for the proposed “date” and the way he said it DID sound like you were a seat filler, not a nice or romantic way to ask someone out. You dodged a bullet and you were straightforward, not overreacting!

Reason number 992388282 I stopped OLD. I think nearly every man I went out with from an app lied about his height lol. The only one who didn’t (was actually 6’1) was also the only one I ever went on a second date with and eventually had sex with haha. Liars never win.

That phrase seems to be what you all are harping on, I doubt he took it literally. He knows that if he’d like to go out with me again he can invite me out and I’d say yes. I probably will hint at being free after Thanksgiving IF he re-engages with the same effort as before. I don’t have as much of a issue with the suggestive comment (I do think it was a bit tone deaf tho, since we’d never had any sexual undertones and barely broken the touch barrier atp), if he’d kept momentum going and didn’t c…

Reminded me of the rant I posted here a few weeks ago “why can’t men stop talking about themselves”. They literally praise the woman for performing emotional labor for a stranger and lament on why more women do not do the same! Several men give their own personal anecdotes about how they also don’t give a shit to ask the women they date a thing about themselves and were shocked to find out the women didn’t like that. A few pick mes chime in to say that they don’t mind at all when a guy talks sol…

I once told a boyfriend to his face that I would never snoop if he didn’t give me a reason to. But, if something gives me reason to believe he’s cheating I would definitely look into what’s going on. Rather look into it and be wrong/a snooper than be cheated on and disrespected unbeknownst to me.

I agree, in fact I think he’d be less likely to pull away after attempting sex as to not send the wrong message if he really liked me. Don’t want to retype but, if you scroll up to frustrated queen’s thread I explained a bit there how I believe I’m showing enough interest (besides us getting all the way to a third date in this dating climate 🥵) I met him at a Halloween party in the city.

Our date was originally supposed to be a movie, but, turned into dinner and a movie and I still wanted to spend time with him after the movie so I agreed to go to a bar by the theater with him and lost track of time talking and stayed out later than I planned... That’s more than reciprocating. Plus, when he said he couldn’t wait to see me again I told him I had a good time and we should do it again soon. I just didn’t want to schedule something right then and there and also I’d like for him to p…

Weirdos. It’s TOTALLY not ok when your boyfriend is pining after/fetishizing women who don’t look a thing like you. You can rest assured he’s thinking about them when having sex with you and if he was ever able to attain one of the women he lurks would leave you in the dust. Common sense!!

Just want to say after reading these ladies comments: Being a stay at home mom does not make you lazy or a “mooch” and is a job within itself. 9-5’s aren’t for everyone but, there are other options. I recommend you date foreign men maybe? Some of them maintain these “traditional” values but, may be a bit misogynistic so watch out. But, you should have your own money/businesses/ some form of income because you never know if a man will wake up and decide he doesn’t love you anymore.

Lol the actions aren’t the problem as much as the words are. It’s not being straightforward with your feelings if you follow up with declarations of how much you aren’t like other men and how you won’t do said things out of fear that you will gasp actually sound like you like me.

He’s gross and entitled for no reason but, I’m sorry why go back and forth with a stranger on Tinder? Just unmatch. He doesn’t deserve your energy and mental effort.

Go to lunch/happy hour alone and sit at the bar. If you work out (and don’t get gym anxiety) join a gym, if you have a dog dog parks, any groups or clubs for your hobbies (find on Facebook), concerts, go to EVERY outing like anytime someone invites you to a birthday party, engagement party, friendsgiving, potluck make a conscious effort to go and look nice. Basically anywhere and everywhere. Except your house. I’ve accepted I don’t like OLD. I deleted all apps and that made me go out more, if I …

You all are kind of creating a narrative that does not exist here btw. She does not describe a lot of the things you all are saying she “probably” deals with. Obviously if she described a ongoing clearly manipulative, gas lighting, abusive relationship I would not blame her. I still don’t “blame” her. A big part of this sub is accountability. Some people call the women harsh because they’ll simply be like “Your boyfriend fucking sucks and YOU let him use you. Love yourself and put yourself first…

This and the other post is so fucking disgusting and terrifying. Wtf. It’s so sad that women are so desperate for a partner that they will literally reason away RAPE and other concerning behaviors. They put this in relationship advice like it’s my boyfriend won’t remember to put the toilet seat down. GIRL HE HAS ANALLY RAPED YOU. CALL THE POLICE. REPORT HIM. BLOCK HIM, NEVER SPEAK TO HIM AGAIN AND GO TO THERAPY.

This just happened to me! He asked me if I was was doing anything I said not right now, what do you have in mind? And he asked if I would come over for dinner... I told him yeah no thanks 🤢 and he had the nerve to act confused as to why I didn’t want to come over and ask what was wrong, when I didn’t respond all day and he called me twice and texted me basically begging me to respond trying to recover. Delusional. This isn’t our first meeting but, still. What makes any man think pretty high qual…

Drink dates are low effort like “house dates”. You refer to it as a “laid back” introduction because it does not take much thought, money, or time...So, low effort. I don’t online date so the guys have already met me before and know that they are interested so there’s no need for a laid back introduction. And I said me “calling the guy out” would be me saying I expect him to take me out on an actual date, I don’t think that’s weird.

She sounds depressed and like she may have low self esteem and is overly sexual to garner and maintain a mans attention. I’m sure they can smell the desperation on her and take advantage. She should talk to someone.

Yep, had a horrible experience on hormonal BC. Was in a LTR and he begged and begged for me to get on it, I was only keen on it bc I also worried about pregnancy. Was horrible, I felt like I had every side effect possible. I turned out to be one of the people who have a decreased sex drive on it. Went from sex 2-3 times every time we saw each other to possibly once a week. He was soon after begging me to get OFF it. Turned out it cleared my skin and regulated my period after I got off it though.…

My friends and I talk about this ALL the time! So many guys do this, it must be in the red pill rule book. A guy I went to college with, have mutual friends with, or even met before at another location or on an app will come up and talk to me and pretend to have no idea who I am. I often will just be like “We’ve met before. At ________. Where you also tried to hit on me. So I must’ve been somewhat memorable.” They’re usually embarrassed after that and will admit to knowing my name. If they still…

I’m in my twenties too, I also quit apps so its usually bars/lounges/clubs and parties for me, I live in a big city so everyone (meaning all different type of men) party/go out. The BEST way though imo is mutual friends/house parties, any time a male friend of mine who works at a top Fortune 500 or a quality guy one of my friends are dating is having a event, gathering, birthday/Christmas party, friendsgiving, I make sure I get cute as fuck and show up to meet their also successful coworkers or …

Same... I have doubts about changing my routine/picking up hobbies I’m not actually into to meet a man though. Like I have a bit of gym anxiety so I prefer to go to the gym in my building at off times when I know that getting a membership to a good quality gym and going at peak times could be a good way to meet someone 😅

Sending good vibes! I try to take breaks too but, I have a high stress job that easily swallows all my time if I let it and then life happens and makes me wish I had a person so that gets me back out there and then a few months later after a series of low quality sucky guys I’m exhausted again.

Thank you! First: I guess I’m using great personality here to mean guy whose personality attracts me/I get along with easily. I do have several narcissists in my family tho lol. Second: I think I just very much want “the one” to be one of the guys I have that exciting instant connection with. Because of that in the past I have easily fallen victim to love bombing, I’ve been working on it and understanding slow and steady doesn’t mean dull and boring. Third: I agree w/ FDS stance on FWB but, this…

For reference: I’m going to be 27 very soon, objectively attractive (7/10 face, very in shape, a bit short, nice butt, small/average boobs) and I have a corporate 9-5. I live in a big city and go out a lot so primarily I meet guys at bars and clubs but, also on social media thru DMs and I have 1 dating app but, the guys I find on there are pathetically desperate so don’t use it much.
