Talk to them like a normal person. Act interested. If you get “the vibe” then drop the “hey do you want to go to XYZ place with me?” Any venue change will do, until you ask the “want to go back to my place?” If you get “vibe vibes” then maybe skip the venue change and go straight back to yours.

Dude... the girl gave you her Instagram handle. Girls will literally give that to anyone because they just want more followers. You didn’t seduce her. You just had a conversation with a female who was literally stuck in a small space with you - congrats.

Dude - You still don’t get it. It’s not about “other men who came along who are more interesting than you” That’s your problem - you’re still hung up on this idea that because she declined a date for someone else that you’re suddenly an inferior choice in her mind. Sometimes it’s just about timing. You play the field until things starts to get exclusive. It’s not about the other dude being a better option, or about him being a priority over you - it’s about timing.

Bro, they haven’t even gone on a first date yet. you’re already salty a woman you haven’t gone out with yet was seeing other dudes? News flash... no one has an obligation to put current relationships on hold in the event something “might” work out with you. Sounds like you have an issue... more small dick energy.

Why are you faulting a woman who was honest? When you started talking she might have been single and things developed with someone else. She didn’t want to two-time. This seems like a good thing? Why are you faulting a woman who hasn’t even gone on a first date with you for not being her “first choice”? Things didn’t work out, now she’s on the market again exploring other guys. Take your shot, or don’t. But you being offended by this is small dick energy.

OP didn’t say not to flirt - they said to tone down the over the top compliments in the beginning (it IS a turn off).

Okay that’s fair and I agree with that point. When I first started going out on lots of first dates as a woman years ago I would worry too much about if a guy likes me. Now I go into dates understanding this person is a stranger and I don’t really care if they end up liking me or not - I’m more concerned on if we have a genuine connection. And if we don’t, it’s no sweat off my back. I think that mindset comes with increased confidence as well. I know I’m a catch - but are you? Kinda mindset.

I hate this. The idea of “I don’t give af about you, but if the sex is good maybe something will work out later”. Tbh this is just bad dating advice. It’s great advice if you’re just trying to get laid. Not so much if you’re looking to build a relationship. I agree with OPs post - women don’t want “nice guys” but there is a balance.

"If you see two other people on a date, ask her if you think it's going well. Ask if you think the woman looks like she'd good in bed etc." Some of the worst advice I've ever read on this subreddit... if y'all wanna get some action, pls dont do this. As a woman I would literally run the fuck away from a guy who decided to judge other women at the bar from looks to determine if they were "good in bed". Just noppppeee. What a weird and cringey way to get some action.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
