Not sure why you think the statistic about never-married percentages going up has anything to do with "the wall" - the end result is that by age 55, 95-96% of women (virtually no difference between 1986 and 2009) have married at least once. What can be deduced from that is that women are marrying later, which is a well known fact, and actually invalidates (your) concept of the wall (which to you seems to be about women losing their ability to get married) - almost half of women in 2009 were not …

But you're not breaking anything to me - I know personality is way down the list of things that are important for men (and said so very clearly in my post). Men are driven by looks and beauty, which is essentially a superficial way to go through the world, and also a sad way in many cases, because I've seen wonderful men ensnared by absolute bitches (who happen to be beautiful). But as Menthatiel very rightly pointed out, we are all so much more than the sum of our biological imperatives.
