It happens. The community college in went to had two women's restrooms immediately next to each other, and the men's on the other side of the hallway. I think the logic was the restooms only had three stalls and women need stalls for longer than men, so they made a different men's room with like one stall and urinals. Didn't matter, the last year I was there they switched one women's back to a men's.

They're advice is going to be to call a lawyer. This is "self help" territory, especially if the cops won't press charges. The cops acted in "good faith" even if the witnesses were incorrect or lying. This is a civil matter by and large.

I understand that a man would be resentful, but the woman is the one who has to carry the child for 9 months just to give it away. I know a lot of women do this willingly, and I applaud them, but she shouldn't be forced to carry a pregnancy to term.

It would be cruel to force a woman to take a pregnancy to term, however it is absurd that a man is unable to decide if he his ready to be a father. Why can't men sign away parental rights? I feel like that would be an easy solution.

It's absolutely directed towards men, I'm not denying that, but the fear isn't about consensual sex, rather that all he wants is sex and he will do whatever he can to get it. It's ridiculous, I know, but women don't fear consensual sex but if they do the fear stems from possible rejection or shame because "how could a man want something more than sex?!" /s

You're absolutely right, I never thought about the gesture as being something that made me more comfortable but now that I think about it someone who acknowledges my existence and I back makes me feel at ease as opposed to someone lurking near the shadows. Ninja edit: I like your LPT, I actually am a smoker so I usually will offer three or four cigarettes because I may not have change but I have plastic and can buy some more.

I feel like "stranger danger" is engrained in the female mind, even though a sexual assault is much more likely to come from someone you know. Personally, when a stranger says hi, I smile and say hi back - however I was taught to be kind, not defensive.

You can still get financial aid, just not any federal grants or loans. This is still unfair, my entire college education is being paid with my Pell Grant and Federal Subsidized Student Loans

FAFSA is just an application service, you can still get state or private financial aid but you can not receive federal grants or loans.

It's sad because as a woman, the fact that men still register for the draft didn't dawn on me until I was in the post office with a friend.
