Without a doubt I am a fanboy of RSD and tyler specifically, BUT he says a great deal more than just be confident and have fun. He explains why you can trust that to be effective. The knowledge behind why confidence works is a large part of how to develop and internalize it. and the intoductory portion of the series where he says 'revisit these dvds more than once, like a year apart. you will take more from it each time.' in my case he's been correct.

Well if I'm right, this is essentially the upside of being supplicative. Granted the group likes you, and you aren't sucking up to anyone blatantly, but in situations like this you're asking the group to reaffirm your position. If someone feels a lot of self doubt it makes sense that they act this way. It's a product of your tendency to 'ping' if i can borrow terminology from the community. Here's an opportunity for some self exploration. Read the article below and specifically concentrate on the 'Toward' or 'Away From' motivation portion. This ties in to what everybody calls frames. It's tough for people to lose the approach anxiety because they default to an 'away from' motivational strategy. You want the girl sure, but it's most likely that you're approaching her from a frame something along the lines of wanting to prove that you can get her. Below that frame is your fear of bei…

Sounds to me like when you say you're feeling 'high energy', you're floating on the status you feel in the group, and on the quick positive feedback that comes from a supportive group. Versus when you single someone out you're now relying on only them to provide the positive feedback, and she's not delivering it as quickly.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
