Mentally I gave up 10 years ago and just threw myself into making her and our 2 children happy. I thought I could fake it. I did for a decade. At some point you will break and can’t hide it any more. Being married longer than your friends isn’t a prize. Being married for 30 years doesn’t come automatic happiness.
