The definition of status can vary a lot by social context ("situational alpha"). In a company, executives have the highest status. In sports, the captain often has the highest status, and the winning teams have a higher status. In an orchestra, the soloists have the highest status. Whatever you believe your calling and purpose is, learn how to improve your status and exploit it, or acquire achievements that demonstrate your status. You hit on a point that I think is often overlooked. A lot of yo…

I've known guys who do similar (maybe not to this level) stuff. I'm convinced it is some sort of sexual fetish in the same vein as being a cuck. They think they are worthless deep down, so being shit on like that lets them wallow in the feeling.

That's a great way to think about it if it isn't important to you, but men's and women's brains are wired differently. A single man in a harem of fertile women could theoretically repopulate the world, even if he were in his 50s or 60s. A woman can have a baby maybe once a year, and for a limited window of their life. That reality has driven a sexual dimorphism in how our brains think about sex. For men, a sexual encounter has a much lower evolutionary cost. You can impregnate a woman at 9 am an…

We hope to push our community towards equity and inclusion Remember, when they talk about 'equity' it means equal outcomes, regardless of the means to achieve them. If that means we enter a scientific dark age because poorer quality papers from women have to be published in order to achieve their goals, they are OK with that. I find the foundational assumption of things like this laughable. They imply that a brilliant breakthrough scientific achievement would not be published because a woman or …

Personally, I think it's a sign of strong values and intellect to talk trash about your bad life decisions in a public forum. It lets other people know that all of your issues were caused by somebody else, and you are in no way responsible for them.

Guide the activities to find something more stimulating for both of you if you don't like playing cars. For example, set up a car track and do experiments to see how to see which car or track configuration makes for the longest jumps. You know what you find interesting, share that with your son. Just about anything that you involve him in is going to seem awesome because it's with dad.

The line about "aggressively overcompensat[ing] when I declare my boundaries ... Even the PhD is a fantasy at this point. She is THINKING about STARTING to APPLY. There is a lot of real estate between that and actually applying, being accepted, figuring out how to pay for it, taking the classes, getting research financed, doing the research, writing the thesis, defending the thesis, and graduating. Then actually getting her foot in the door for a job, working her way up, THEN getting the big bucks. Honestly her plan doesn't seem much different than a kid doing guitar tabs in…

That is true, IF your being the suit in a timely manner. If you signed the birth certificate and have raised that kid as your own for 7 years, for example, a generic test disapproving paternity won't get you off the hook in many states. You will have to find the actual father, which may be tough ("I only knew him as big skeet from the club"), or if pops had skipped town, is broke, dead, or in jail, the court can find that you are constructively the father, and therefore need to keep paying. It might help in that the children won't be considered 'the product of the marriage', which would mean he is responsible with no arguments to be made against it. But, in most states, if you acquiesce to paternity (that is, you don't dispute it at birth, or sign the birth certificate without a paternity test) you are on the hook until they are 18, even if you find out later that they are not your biological children. You would have to prove it's in the best interest of the children that they not …

$100.00 says that her father was not involved in her upbringing. Girls raised by single moms all too often see mom using sex as a way to obtain resources for the family, so they get an unhealthy view of it. Also, without the unconditional paternal love of a father, she thinks the only way 'love' is initiated or expressed between man and woman is through sex. She has no idea that romantic, altruistic, or covenant line even exists. Throw in a dash of pop culture where every 'love' song and movie s…

I think women seem to dig those in guys. So they try to turn it around on men. It just makes them seem unpleasant. The other thing is that in this modern era of Critical Theory, your value as a human being is determined by how many oppression points you can claim to enhance your victimhood. Being a white girl from a moderately affluent family doesn't get you much, but if you start claiming mental health disorders, especially a bunch of them, then you can be somebody!

Attacked for having an education and a good job, attacked for being jobless or working at McDonald's ..." Women aren't being 'attacked' for those things, the issue is when they believe that men should be attracted to them because of it. Women value men who have educations and good jobs, so they reflect their own values on men, and are confused when men don't cooperate. Think about it like this. I'm going to suspect that she paid about the same attention in Sex Ed that she did in English. "I ended up being pregnant". I think the difference is; a woman wants a man who is desired and sought after by other women, but still chooses her. So they don't mind philandering men, because they see it as both a challenge to make him settle down, and exciting that this guy chose me! Men want a woman who can pair bond with them so that the woman can provide him stability and children. A serial cheater can no longer mentally create a strong bond with a man. perform the exact same acts with the same physical strength/etc in bed, a woman may perceive different sensations if the one guy has more attractive qualities, whether they be looks or personality. In this modern era of protestant mega-churches, we seem to have forgotten about the penance and atonement. God's forgiveness does not excuse us of the temporal consequences of our sins.

It's been many many years since I was in OLD, but even then, I noticed a shockingly high percentage of women had profile pictures of them with dudes. I always assumed that it was somehow trying to virtue signal that SOMEONE wanted them at some point, so you should too. After more reflection, I think it's women projecting their own psychology on men. Women seem to be attracted to men who have dated a lot of different girls (I showed all those other bitches, he wants ME and not you!), so they have…

ere's a lot of truth here. I know a lot of people who met in their 20s got married by late 20s early 30s and had kids mid to late 30s. The idea she's gonna meet someone at 38 or 39, get married and have kids in 2 years is a bit nuts. But it works for every sexy, sassy, single, successful woman on TV?

I used to share my theory that no woman alive, at any age, has an N count of 3. That used to be a significant number, because many girls wanting to be 'good girls' would decide that's a great number, not prudish, but not a 'hoe. The derivation is thus: Many girls think that the first guy they bang is 'the one' and so that is a realistic number (if they are young enough). Then they break up with their first love and do it with guy number 2. It didn't take as long to give it up this time, but it w…

Why do single mothers feel the need to announce themselves in such an arrogant manner? It's the same reason why Nigerian scam emails are written in nearly incomprehensible English. That way they don't have to deal with a bunch of smart people who are intelligent enough to be suspicious and ask questi…

t women with standards are hilarious. Not because they're actually funny, just the idea of them. Like a monkey in a business suit. I know you don't work on Wallstreet, monkey. Why even bother with the charade? The story is written with zero sense of personal accountability. "Fell Pregnant". Implicitly blaming negative personal emotions for getting into relationships. Every past relationship broke up because of some major fault of the other person. At least she didn't murder her children, but she is in need of some serious psychological help. My favorite part is the final line. After 10 paragraphs of saying how miserable she was/is, "I’m happy".

This is a good example of one of the forces also increasing inequality in today's world. Go back a few years, and it wasn't strange to see a CEO with a Wharton MBA marry his secretary with a high school education. Now-a-days women tend to only be attracted to men at or above (especially above) their level of education and achievement. So, instead of a high-earner bringing up a low earner, you have a concentration of high earners pairing up. Although it's nothing that heavy additional taxes and a…

This is a really going point. Most of the criticisms of Red Pill point to people who either misunderstand or misapply the principles. The most common seems to be people who use it as an excuse to act dishonorably and selfishly. It's really about being the best 'you' you can be, and valuing yourself so that you are in control and live the life you choose to live. Women being attracted to you when you do that is a side effect, not the goal.

This same thing happened to me. I had an on-again off-again relationship with a girl from highschool through college. As always seems to be factor in these stories, I thought she was out-of-my-league hot. When I was single, I was my authentic self. Confident, in charge, did cool things, had swagger. Once we would start to date, she would slowly start to complain about things I did, henpeck me, discourage me from developing myself and trying new things, etc. Of course, I wanted to do whatever wou…
