Sounds codependent. If you're divorcing, then it's none of her concern. "It's none of your business" is a complete sentence. If you are hoping to get back together, that's a different story.

Protect yourself and don't worry about the guy. I know it sucks, but you cannot control her decisions. You can, however, protect yourself and your kid.

Sounds like trauma bonding, love bombing, bread crumbing, repeat. Super toxic and once you leave it behind you'll see it. Took me years to figure this out after trying to leave many times. Marriage does NOT need to be this hard. You need mutual respect, curiosity, listening, and empathy. And you may not realize it, but you are damaging your kids way more than you think you are. I pay $4800/mo in alimony. Married 11 years, she got me for 6.5 years of it because my attorney was a total loser. After 5 years she has done absolutely nothing whatsoever - just is a receptionist at the kids school for $23k/year. Alimony should be criminal. Truly unbelievable it's still allowed.
