What that meant for me was, despite doing a job for over six months during financial struggles, being encouraged to apply by the GM for the role full time, receiving outstanding performance reviews, and meeting or exceeding all criteria, I did not even get an interview. When I queried this with HR, I got told I was not a ‘good fit’ for the role.
