My male friends and I absolutely thrive on having rational debates about things - my female friends get so emotional and say we can't talk about stuff because they don't want to lose me as a friend. One even said that people who votes for Brexit deserved the abuse they get and couldn't be friends with someone with a strongly opposing view - and this from a supposedly Liberal feminist.
