I feel you man. Depression is a terrible beast because it feels like there's no way out. Keep pushing through and it DOES get better. Clichéd but exercise really helps and also gives you something to focus on and kinda look forward to.

Maybe someone can comment on my thoughts on this. Back in the day, say 1940s and 50s men did not talk about their problems at all. Male suicide rates were so much lower. Now we are encouraged to talk about our feelings and seek validation yet the suicide rate is much higher. Why?

I'd say it's amoral more than immoral.

Likewise. I love debating and discussing ideas. It's because women feel more than they think so us challenging theyre thoughts is like a personal attack on them as a human. Whereas for a lot of us we just see it as discussing an idea together and working out how shit works.

I've learnt this the hard way. My male friends and I absolutely thrive on having rational debates about things - my female friends get so emotional and say we can't talk about stuff because they don't want to lose me as a friend. One even said that people who votes for Brexit deserved the abuse they get and couldn't be friends with someone with a strongly opposing view - and this from a supposedly Liberal feminist. Fucking intolerant.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
