Idk what to say man. It’s so rare to see a man and a woman under 30 who are married and adulting on their own dime in their own place. Most relationships are jokes now because women have no interest in marrying across or down, but most young men don’t make living wages, so they unhappily settle for a few months or <2 years to get some dick.

You’re really just name calling here. Not sure what to say. The existence of hypergamy in women does not necessitate the existence of “hypogamy” in men.

You seen rather butt hurt, and this entire thread is just one big “No u!” I think you might even be posting in bad faith. You’ve just convinced me that “hypogamy” isn’t a thing with your weak arguments.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/19 09:25 PM

No, because it’s not intentional. Hypogamy isn’t a thing. It’s not even a word. Like other posters said, it’s a consequence of hypergamy.

Men don’t care about a woman’s social status.

Then why don't men try to be less unattractive? Women think 80% of men are below average. Only 20% of men can be in the top 20%, so there isn't much point in most men even trying. Unless they're at the 70th percentile or above in looks and money, there isn't really much point in trying to improve yourself hitting the gym or working 60 hours a week to get a raise. That would just increase poverty. My entire OP describes how neoliberals and capitalists are systematically excluding men from production. Do you think single mothers would do any better? If anything, welfare payments to single mothers should be increased, or UBI should be enacted, because capitalists have given up on above subsistence wages.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/19 09:49 PM
1

Women have never "required" men. The problem is that the bottom 90% of workers have declining real wages, which means that most men can no longer start a family. If you think the meager welfare given to single mothers is competitive with salary men, you're delusional, especially if you think single mothers with young children can support themselves and supervise a young child. You're telling a just-so-story with no data or citations. You think women are "gaming," the system, when they're just ad…

I've never seen an incel say that on reddit, or anywhere else. Usually, they try until their mid twenties or later, and then drop out of the dating market after being rejected by hundreds of women. We don't do ideology in Canada. We pass policies on a case by case basis. There are some pro-social Chinese policies that we could adopt, particularly around how residential land is managed, that would alleviate a lot of working class suffering.

Well, I don't look down on working women or mothers, but I do oppose hypergamy since it's mathematically impossible with 7:3 or 6:4 female to male ratios on college campuses. I don't think anyone actually does this. The people who shame working women tend to be tradcons, who support hypergamy 100%, and the men who oppose hypergamy tend to be MRAs or MGTOWs, who have utter disdain for women who don't work. It's the most significant part, because it makes slipping into inceldom really easy. If you're a short dude, you can't afford to get fat, have a shitty job, or live with your parents, because you immediately slip into negative SMV and drift into inceldom. I'm listening to your advice. That's why I'm here. I started out with a can do attitude, and after 7 years, I've basically been beaten into learned helplessness by frustration, especially with weight loss.
/r/askTRP05/12/18 04:52 AM
1

Your height doesn't affect your SMV nearly as much as you think since you're still taller than the majority of girls. I don't think so. I think the majority of the women in the Millennial generation and later are at least 170-175 cm.

I'm Canadian. I wouldn't have to pay for either of those tests, and if they were useful my doctor would have ordered them by now. He's confident that I will lose the weight on these meds.
/r/askTRP05/12/18 03:42 AM
1

It's not an excuse dude. Almost everyone who takes these meds gets fat. The only reason I'm not gaining right now is because I got my doctor to take me off antipsychotics and put me on mood stabilizers only. If I took antipsychotics again, I would get fat again. It's simple cause and effect, and it took 6 years of fighting with psychiatrists and doctors to finally sort it out. The last time I went off all medications, I dropped 40 kg in 6 months, and then had a manic episode.
