literally could not believe they thought this was natural. We were watching New Girl and one asked “So.. do women in real life ever naturally have hair like this?” and I had to explain that the supermodel character Cece’s hair was in fact incredibly styled. I feel like society has failed us by letting people think that this is the base standard.

Men hate young adult women for being “high maintenance,” but at the same time look down on women who don’t keep up with their appearance. Bury me with downvotes if you disagree, but commenter above me is a philosopher. OP’s post is so stupid. Can you you not see that the “emasculation” you’re complaining about, the terrible insult faced by men, is literally just demonstrating feminine traits? Women don’t have an equivalent because they already EMBODY those traits.
