For the past 10 years or so, women have been outpacing men in terms of bachelor degrees. 47% of women (25-34) hold one, while only 37% of same aged men do currently. This could show how in recent times, women’s (even perceived perhaps depending on undergrad loans and etc) economic and social class has changed, making them less interested in who society would place as their male counterpart. https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2024/11/18/us-women-are-outpacing-men-in-college-completion-includ…

Perhaps this person is less picky than you might imagine. You choose to say he wants a “cardboard cutout” despite his spark of personality; the “wanting to be scared”. All of that shit does matter, but you are not a male- you cannot comprehend how difficult it is to find even what he described as an average/equally pointed male. Like others have said, it’s settle or starve.

i feel i have had a lot of success by a slower approach in terms of it. still making intention clear but clean cuts; winning the war before it starts. great advice tho fr.

low and slow tempo bro. you gotta make sure you don’t give off any forward vibes- might look like you are just in it for the girl. build confidence for the group by actually engaging in thoughtful conversation with each of them. chances are, you can sniff out if the girl wants you or not by how you interact with the others. being playfully flirty is okay, but tread very lightly. not quite eggshells, more like ice. you don’t wanna fuck up and slip. sometimes women in these settings will disqualif…

Women love being “bothered” by attractive men.

I think it pertains to dishonesty. It is good to disclose things, particularly genetics in case of mating. I think there is also a difference between facial reconstruction post trauma and a tastefully done boob or nose job. It is misrepresenting the woman at her core. My personal opinion on makeup is that it’s unnecessary. Many times, I have noticed some women that choose to wear it are attempting to be less insecure of their natural features or to cover some acne (which typically would just end…

women do not carry the expectation of being providers and many are actively unattracted to men that cannot provide for them. this may change with time.

these days real life is similar to the apps. bit of talking stage before ghosting no matter how many approaches or in what social setting; not the gym. unless i really lower my standards (i.e. fat women- nothing wrong with them but they do not mesh well with my lifestyle for a variety of reasons).

My feelings on this subject are largely based on not being able to find a suitable match in terms of activity. I blame this on a lack of women, but maybe I should be blaming this on just simply not being attractive. Most women I find in exercise circles are not looking at me despite being relatively more fit than most. I think it is due to my height. Even after charismatic introduction. Yet, others (taller, richer) find different experiences.

I'm gen z. I feel like a lot of the norms you describe shift over even just one generation. Most women in my age group feel none of these expectations and can find a partner regardless of how they look. The expectation is that the man must be perfect or at least tick off certain boxes (status, looks, height, income etc)

That’s fair. I guess women just don’t need to work out at the same rate because they are already considered attractive regardless by some men.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/25 04:10 PM

That is unfortunate. Where does this happen outside of the internet or off platforms people monetize? Would this happen to an average woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/25 02:30 PM

Clickbait. People want to make money off her name because they know people will click. The average man will get less respect unless he can provide something. That is the focal point I am trying to make.

Of course pop stars will be given more scrutiny, they are trying to be as widely received as possible, which comes with hate. The average woman on the other hand…

Don’t you think that disrespect extends to anyone that isn’t the ideal? Think pretty privilege, life is not fair. I include exclusively men because the expectation of the male provider role. Where we could see respect is not given when a man is unable to completely fulfill those expectations.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/25 02:00 PM

Delusional people want delusional things. Real people want to be respected and loved for who they are, not what they provide. The gap between this is the driver we see today. Men do not have this respect from women by default unless they have a certain list of qualities. Women and children first, always and forever. No shame in it, cannon fodder is cannon fodder. Happy man is God’s plan, happy wife is happy life. We all just want to be happy.

I am a straight man who seems to not get much in the way of women but for some reason, gay men love me. I think it's because I'm short. Though I have had success with women, it is inconsistent and only regarding where I am in life positioned to the woman, not so much pure attraction toward myself for who I am or how I look. This is also looking from a lens of someone who works out a lot- the women that work out seem to only want the best in terms of men who do as well. However, I don't want to p…

this is a double edged sword. these same women will turn around and date a man taller than them as to meet status quo- i think it is rather rare to find these ladies trying to shorten their offspring.

Would also be wary of this advice. Typically those that give it are those being approached, not approaching themselves. It is good to be constantly striving to improve, but it can turn into a cycle of self defeat if you are being consistently rejected in an atmosphere you would feel more comfortable. Kinda like: we want to find someone that will accept you for who you are and vice versa, just don’t be a slob. I’m still wading through slobs out here lmao but I have no choice but patience based on…

I understand what you are saying, but I think his intention is a groundwork of theory over the game, which at times can sound psychotic. I think his explanation of the instadate is a marker of it being more than that. It is a numbers game for a mass of men, after all.
