I was against both. If I had a son I’d not circumcise. I had daughters and let them decide to pierce their ears when they hit 12, only if they chose to pierce. I pay my own way, and sometimes he pays sometimes I pay. I used to make more than him, now the tables are turned. It all works out. Conversations help prevent that “taken advantage of” feeling.
