Social Media to Men: Abusive Wives are HILARIOUS!!!Thank you for sharing! I am and have been on the fence for so long and that sounds exactly like my wife. | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/05/25 12:17 PM
Having trouble with taking wife's spousal support😂 Take it and save it. At the end of every year, if you still feel bad, give it back to her. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/04/25 01:52 PM
Divorced and Dealing with the mental illness of my ex and custodyI am going through a similar situation. When and how were you able to pull the trigger and get divorced? | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/04/25 01:09 PM
How do you leave when you have young children ?I literally did the same thing yesterday. My son was sitting on the couch though. We turned on a show so he would be distracted. I had all my stuff but couldn’t imagine him asking where I was that night and my wife crying around him all day. I couldn’t leave. I am leaving within the next six months though. I’m going to find a way. | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/02/25 12:54 PM
Did you any of you guys benefit from therapy post divorce?Hate to hear that. It is tough and an uphill battle. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/12/24 09:46 PM
Did you any of you guys benefit from therapy post divorce?I was living like this for years. I started taking some of my time back (for old hobbies, mainly exercise) and she erupted. For months she would throw fits if I did anything. After an about a year or two it has just gotten tot he point where she has accepted it. I’m talking about leaving the house for an hour to do a workout class. All that to say I know what you’re going/went through. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/12/24 03:38 AM
Leaving my pregnant wifeShe knew what she was doing, lol. Keep trying to convince her to move where you live. It sounds like she is unwilling to compromise at all based on what you said. I will say this. No matter how you feel now. There is no better feeling or purpose than being in your child’s life and taking care of them (even if you are not with your spouse). | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/12/24 01:17 PM
How do women keep guys in bad marriagesWhy is this my exact situation? Am I on Big Brother? | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/12/24 12:08 AM
Decided to divorce after 19 yearsGood for you! Hope it is all uphill from here on out. | /r/Divorce_Men | 31/10/24 03:14 AM
Please help if you have any experience with this.Yeah, I feel that. That’s why I am reaching out for different perspectives. I really appreciate you sharing. It’s going to be tough one way or the the other. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/10/24 03:32 AM
Please help if you have any experience with this.It is because we have kids now and it is hard to do it all and keep up with my work. Before it was just us so I could put up with the instability. I am also getting to the amount of time where she would get support. In my state she would not require it that long but I do not mind paying child support or more if I know my kids are being taken care of properly. I just want to make sure I am able to keep my mental health so I can work and continue to provide for my kids. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/10/24 02:16 AM
Please help if you have any experience with this.Thank you for the reply. It has been very tough and it just seems like no matter what my entire family loses. Stay together and suffer or be selfish but happy. Would you rather have a non present dad who works all the time or a dad you see half the time that is super happy and involved? | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/10/24 01:58 AM
Life goes onGood for you man. Congratulations. Pray for those still going through it. | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/10/24 12:49 AM
My Story…a summary of 15 years. Can you relate?I’m capping it at seven years. I’ve seen and heard too much. Got to pull the trigger sooner than later. It’s going to hurt now or in the furrier, might as well rip the bandaid off now. | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/10/24 10:19 PM
Finally choosing myselfStay strong King. It is in the early stages but I am going through something similar. It is so eye opening when you realize that you do everything for this other person and they do so little for you. Somehow the other person has convinced us it is normal too. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/08/24 01:34 AM
SAH Wife wants Divorce and wants to move the kids out of stateWhat state does she want to move back home to? If you let her leave you will see your kids way less than if you file in your home state. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/06/24 01:48 PM
Divorce is Great, It’s Time! DIG IT!Sorry to hear that. I am literally paying my wife’s credit cards off even though this is probably not going to work out for another 12 months. | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/05/24 02:01 AM
Divorce is Great, It’s Time! DIG IT!Thanks for saying this Bro! There are so many people saying a man needs to honor his vows and stick it out. The exact same people tell woman to hurry and get divorced, you deserve better. They rarely tell woman to honor their vows and act right. It is time for men to take care of theirselves the same woman do. We are all equal now, right? | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/05/24 07:39 PM
