1	Guilty until proven innocent From personal experience working in a magistrates court in Australia that deals with domestic violence and sexual assault almost exclusively. I'm not a lawyer, though there are two in my immediate family who I asked about this. I worked security. It could be different elsewhere in the world, but most of these cases are solved in magistrates court here and it's only if it escalates for some reason they would look into criminal proceedings.	/r/MensRights	09/07/20 11:43 PM
-1	Guilty until proven innocent Cases of sexual assault are USUALLY prosecuted by the state (the police on behalf of the aggrieved) vs the individual in CIVIL court. It is a minority of cases that evolve into criminal cases.	/r/MensRights	07/07/20 10:17 PM
