You've missed a bit of the point, though. You can run out and likely create any type of club you want. My school had a BDSM club. That has nothing to do with school-sanctioned sports

Not done this? What a stupid question. Here is their sports site. Hover over "Schedules" at the top. Notice something between the mens' and womens' lists of sports? For the lazy: List of Towson sports according to their own site Men: baseball soccer football basketball lacrosse swimming/diving Women: basketball lacrosse field hockey cross country golf gymnastics softball soccer swimming/diving tennis track/field volleyball

This is selfishness and stupidity, not sexism. Not every woman pointing a finger at a man needs posted on this sub.

I'm glad things worked out for you, but the point is this: Do you think the odds of life turning out well or turning out badly are, as the odds you have given, 50/50 when brought up in an environment that is not mentally or emotionally abusive? They're not. Kids in those environments bat a thousand by comparison.

While it's entirely possible that she'll turn out fine, lumping the outcome entirely on a child's "choice" has got to be the most head-up-ass denial of reality I've ever come across. We are all a little dumber for having read that. I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul.

While that may be true, getting off to a start like this certainly doesn't up the odds of a successful upbringing.

These reddit moments amuse me. As my screen sits, above your post: a well reasoned argument mentioning tax havens and Laffer curves... and then this. This has made my day.

What do your kids think of all this?

It is simply terrible to be a quota hire. I could think of nothing more humiliating. Of course, for there to be such a thing as a quota hire there logically must also be a more deserving but unemployed white dude. Male privelege!

SAME concern from a buddy of mine who knocked up a girl he was dating back in college. Didn't think he could afford it at the time. I MADE him send off to Canada for a DNA test, which evidently if it comes back negative it is then on Mom to fork out for the state test, and wouldn't you know it? Turns out that she had had a one night stand while they were dating. Of course, he found this out 3 months after expecting, receiving, and then raising what he thought was his child. GET A PATERNITY TEST …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
