It's not. This isn't a mens right's issue at all. At best it's a marriage/divorce issue. What it actually is, is an issue about how unaffordable college is and the steps that the federal government will go to to reduce the amount of aid they give. It's kind of ironic as this issue exists because conservatives reduce public education spending and this sub is very conservative.

Found this, seems to be pretty interesting. Clearly the study missed an opportunity to explore whether out-of-court gender bias led to situations in which mothers were predominantly the primary caretakers, the stated basis for mothers' success in court.[114] It did not look at the forces at play underlying "the agreement of the parties" regarding custody.[115] Most problematic, however, was its total absence of follow up on the speculation of how gender bias discouraged fathers from seeking cust…

This is once you're already in a conversation, take something you'd normally ask as a question and make it a statement for example. Do you like to travel? vs I love to travel. I just got back from <wherever> or What bands do you like? vs I just got back from a concert for my favorite band. Seeing bands live is great.

Don't just ask questions. Try to tell stories in order to dhv. Random questions are a good ice breaker but try to say things that her naturally to respond to you. Strangers talk in questions, friends talk in statements.

Hi, I'm a guy on OkCupid and I have trouble getting girls to respond to me. Oh well let me give you some advice that has worked for me. That is contrary to my deeply held notions and I refuse to change the way I interact with women to get them to go out with me. DOWNVOTE DOWNVOTE PUA SCUM DOWNVOTE. Everyone on /r/OkCupid

I think the problem with all l the inner game stuff I most of it is regurgitating the same few principles. While important, it doesn't really change much so it gets tiring to see it over and over again.

Things that on it's surface piss me off about this graph. They're all men. They're assuming every incidence of what a women has said is true unless a court of law definitively found it otherwise. Given the low bar we have for convicting rapists, maybe some of these rapes were in the "she wasn't necessarily viciously lying" but she also wasn't raped. Things deeper down that piss me off Looking at the papers this was based on many of these charges were dropped for heinous reason of not knowing who…

I played 5 questions with a girl who apparently already knew it because she had PUA friends. Another girl called me out for "negging" her. In that case I think she was a little dumb. She was a 4th wave feminist and I have read a lot of the lit so I name dropped some authors who critique fem and she freaked out and said my negging sucked. I was teasing girls before PUA. If a girl cant take some light joking or thinks any attempt to tease her is me trying to date rape her, then I'd be happier if t…

I'm in California, my vote matters little. I've been voting 3rd party in presidential elections to get them over that limit but the electoral college pretty much prevents any 3rd party from being viable.

I think your point is interesting in that a problem that some feminists acknowledge (though more should) is that the struggles of women are not homogeneous. While rich upper class women of the time fought for the right to work, the poorer ones already took jobs at textile mills and clothing factories in comparatively poor conditions. The fight for the "right" to work was predominantly a better off women's struggle. My big departure from feminism comes from a reading of class as a far more oppres…

That's why the rest of reddit hates us. I'm surprised SRS isn't already on this thread.

I have a friend who can only pick up girls drunk because he just goes out of his mind. Went out one night sober and we each both almost f-closed. He went out drunk the next night and double f-closed (could have tripled but the first girl was a dog). Partly a law of numbers (he approached more girls drunk), partly he's good looking (training for a marathon), and partly just balls.

Yeah, especially if you aren't as physically attractive because if you come off as confident and interesting they are more likely to stick around and give you shot. The "dumber girls" tend to blow you off much faster.

I would try five questions with the kiss as the wager... or just ask "do you want me to kiss you right now?" If she says yes, score, if she says no, wait a while build more tension and such, if she says anything in between (maybe etc) say "lets find out" and go for the kiss. As far as actual kiss tips, most first timers use too much tongue. Reciprocate her tongue enthusiasm and you'll be okay.

The point isn't that they should be locked up per se. The point is there is a double standard. Here is what happened when a few 8th grade boys slapped a girl's butt.

Yeah, but here in lies the problem, you actually haven't said anything. Having read the againstmensrights subreddit, even the things they point out as being bad are inane, misinformed, or misinterpreted. Everyone hates because what they imagine /r/mensrights is. No one actually posts and defends an argument about some specific thing wrong with mensrights.

Don't sit behind or aside her, she'll think you're a creeper. Get there early when people are warming up and just say something casual about the class and transition it into you being new in town.

I would say no but with caveats. Make the game close, do not beat the crap out of her at it. When she does something really good (even on accident) make fun of her for hustling you. Do not take the game seriously, joke around, have fun etc.

I'm just going to group this all and say I'm a marxist. There is some oppression, but mostly it is rich people oppressing the poor. Most of the problems with sexism (in either direction) can be solved be reduction of economic inequality. The attempt to remask these problems as problems of gender/sex is just an attempt by the neoliberals to continue their capitalist oppression.

Focus less on the "micro" of seddit and more on the "macro" of seddit. Don't worry about negging, or the best opens, or any of that stuff. Just focus on making friends and learning how to have healthy relationships with people platonic or romantic. Advice wise: Err on the side of niceness but with confidence Focus on meeting on people Leave with as many friends as possible

Read more, work out more, be friendlier, be more personable. Just be more interesting. Learn an instrument, volunteer somewhere cool, I don't know. When I want to be interesting I know my strengths are that I play a lot of musical instruments and am very well read. My other friend uses his rugby and water skiing. We get different girls, but we both get girls. Find something and be good at it. Let them see you be good at it.

No joke. I walked around a club for like 20 minutes just saying "sup." Not the best approach but I was trying something out. Eventually I had a group of 3 girls, 2 mildly interested in me having a conversation.

I suggest being ridiculously good looking. I find that if you are really good looking being boring and unfunny doesn't phase women in the slightest.

Have more of it! Talk with more people. Don't be mean. Don't act better than everyone else. Everyone has something interesting to say or to offer. Make friends. It's all numbers. The more people you know, the better chance you will have to get laid. Look up a bunch of the stuff Bill Clinton does (strong eye contact, remembering names, etc) and apply that. It is true even in high school. I acted like a better than everyone else prick and left high school with fairly few friends. People actually s…
