Ok dude, not sure what your issues are but here's how things work outside of the US: we travel and meet people who we connect with and make friends with. Should try it, might make you less miserable and definitely less of a dick

Oh, I'm with you. Most people my age and younger consider the UK to be part of Europe still despite the referendum to leave. That was all our grandparents' doing.

The UK famously uses imperial measurements. Is there a "gotcha" you're waiting to use or? Doesn't change the facts, either way?

Sorry, I don't follow? My two friends I mentioned happen to live here in the UK near me but I have friends internationally who I met at university and various jobs as well. The consensus was, among those I spoke with about it anyway, is that it appears to be something just not as great a factor in choosing a partner as it seems to be in the US. My male cousins in Germany are all below 6' and are married with kids and their sisters (my female cousins I mean) only one is married to a guy over 6' a…

Here in the UK it's still standard to use feet and inches. But it honestly doesn't have the same level of importance here, if at all. He's 5'8. I exaggerated a little bit btw as I'm 6'4 not a 6'8 giant. But seriously, being tall here does not give you the advantage and shorter men have no problems finding partners as long as they are decent people. I know another guy who is a 5'2 body builder and his GF is a really good looking girl. It's crazy to me that it's gotten to be such a big issue in the US as growing up in MN I never saw my shorter friends struggle to find partners either. Hopefully it's just some weird fad that will…

This seems to be a problem in the US, Canada and party in the UK, but short kings get ass all the time in Europe. My best friend is nearly a foot shorter than I am and he's dated all the local hotties! Guy needed braces and works an average job. Can't say I have a clue for the cause of this, but it certainly seems like it's a problem in select areas and not others.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
