I paid for everything with my ex; after all, it was what we were all taught. Well, things never changed. I helped her through uni, paid all the bills. She got a job earning twice as much as me, but still I paid everything, even bought my own birthday gifts. Come separation, she came after everything: my super, long service leave, sick leave, even my sister's house. After that i said never again, my current girlfriend i paid for the first dinner, but after that i expected something in return. Im …

This is the right answer, get a restraining order on him something like that. No fuse.

I dont think sexting is the reason you leave, she doesn't respect you. She insulted you to this person, she insulted your marriage by sending nudes. There is no reason for her not to cheat on you at this point.

Has anyone else gone through the realisation that they have been abused for years to only realise after the separation? the financial, emotional , and even physical just because you took it like a man.

I'm not going to insult you, but I just want you to realise how insensestive you are being to the men of this group. Alot of the men here have been going though hell, we have been in abusive relationships, had our kids taken away, falsely accused of things we did not do, and yet we still struggle with the choices we have made or had made upon us. When you come in here saying I have/had a perfect life a wife that according to you is great, it's just mind boggling to some of us that you can't figu…

So I'm hoping to get 50/50 custody of my kids which will mean 1 week on one week off, what is the best way to work out a routine if I can't work out for a whole week every second week?

I have been lucky in the fact I have 2 boy/girl so I'm ok if I didn't have another, that said if I was to date again and my partner wanted one I would do it all over again. Being a parent has been the best thing I have ever done. A friend of mine met someone after his separation, and together, they have a real Brady bunch thing going on, and to be honest, I feel a little jealous of him. (Still happy for him, though)

I also have been struggling with the idea, i have the kids 80/20 (her way) but I'm fighting for 50/50 so right now I have a strong urge for another relationship but I'm waiting for several reasons. 1. I have only been separated for 7 months, so out of respect for my marriage. 2. I'm still working on myself. 3. The most important once I get 50/50 I want to make sure I have the time to even have a woman in my life my kids will always come first and I'm not willing to put my needs off to please a w…

I went through something similar, and soon after my separation my father in law had a heart attack. I wanted to be respectful because screw them I'm not going to change who I am because of them so I personally delivered flowers, when I got to the hospital I looked for a nurse to give the flowers to so they chane give it to my father inlaw, she asked me if I wanted to visit him I said no because if something was to happen to him I didn't want to give them a way to blame it on me. So I would say i…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
