Exactly. It's the same ol save the rain forest debate. Sure other biomes matter, but sometimes one needs more resources than others (in some aspects). And that's ok.

You did the right thing! As a side note, he might need to be careful about turning off the utilities, as I'm not sure if that's actually legal if she's still living there. The last thing he's going to want is having to go through some sort of stupid lawsuit or court case because of this.

Are you once again ignoring the points someone makes, and just attacking their character? Seriously? "I don't have to listen to what you say, I just have to shout louder."

When you say that, you mean he's fat, unattractive, and has a beard and some weird piercings. This is either in reference to him looking smug, or the "not what I want to promote", as those were the only opinions op stated. So you're either saying he's doesn't look smug, or you're creating a straw man and ignoring the part about a smug guy listing un-cided facts. You don't care that he's "smug" Typically using quotes like this implies that you don't agree with what's within the quotes. We all kno…

No, I'm pretty sure it's that stupid smirk he has in every picture, and the hand gestures that make him look smug. Not every overweight bearded guy looks smug.

The homeless guy looked really said when he asked me for money. I felt guilty and gave him $5. In hindsight I think I was mugged!!

If people gave me money every time I had to wait for them, I'd have a new bass boat.

I think people make an issue because attitudes like the one in this Cosmo are widely accepted and sometimes even expected. Similarly, look at how popular Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats" is. The premise of the song is, "you cheated on me, so I destroyed your car." In this case, the accepted behavior is that if a guy is late for a date and doesn't pay, it's OK and funny to steal his keys. Now imagine if Maxim printed a statement like, "I got home from dinner last night and my girlfriend hadn…

I don't know if they're taking it seriously, but I see a lot of women reading Cosmo at the gym while on elipticals and what not. A lot of people are buying / reading it... I'm sure many of them are also taking it seriously.

So you think the tattoo artist in your case could be charged with battery? All salesman, marketing executives, etc must be criminals. Also, if guilt tripping and pressuring constitutes rape, then my wife and I have raped each other a hundred times by now. That can't be healthy.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
