You don't have any insight into their relationship or what each has sacrificed. A marriage is a partnership. She may have raised their kids, worked a job to help pay for the business in its infancy, given emotional support without which he may never have been successful. There is also no indication she wants half of the marital assets, that has been assumed. She may just want to escape a loveless or abusive marriage. She may be awful. We don't know.
