If you opened and transitioned well then you have done all the heavy lifting already. Numbers are actually a lot easier to get than you would think. If you guys talked about something you had in common see if you can do said thing together. From my past experiences I have learned that it really doesn't matter what you say as long as you keep it light and fun. Women usually have a way of throwing you topics as long as you are listening. It may be a bar they just left from, ask them how it was. Bar, lounge, or club? Then just pepper in your own opinions about certain other nightlife locations.

Knowing your buddies personality and playing off of it is always the best strategy. If I go out with one of my more quiet and reserved friends I am always loud and cocky, but if I am going out with another loud and confident guy I usually play the nice friend who talks about how great his buddy is. However YMMV.
