7	Cutting out negative people from your life no matter how "close" you are or whatever "ties" bind you. Just to hop on this, when I went through a really bad depression after high school, one thing I learned was how to get by without communicating with others. I often went a week or more without talking to anyone and through that I realized how unnecessary and mundane most conversation is. Really forced me to confront myself because I was left with my own thoughts.
