This is a big thing. I’ve been seeing the guys I know get married by persisting with the girl they love. It seems to work way better than some of the PUA advice. But it is for getting married and not for club pick ups or multiple partners. Online advice seems to be, if she’s not obsessing over you, she hates you and wants you to die. Like reaching out for advice with flaky girls. But all the guys I know who got the girl, no matter how out of their league, just broke down and said they needed the…

You can ask a girl you’re going to see often simple things like coffee or something. The easiest thing is ask her to an event you’re going to. See how it feels, not scare her off, and even if she says no, she might think it was cute. Maybe she has thought about it, but it’s not the right time or something. You didn’t do anything wrong. You’re 2 people trying to come together. Be ready to follow up soon though. Have something else in mind if coffee goes well. If you drag on pre-dates before askin…

I think you will have to say a few things that are uncomfortable at first to become more comfortable with them. I wanted to wear blazers out on dates and I felt like that was way too much. I’d look like an idiot. I reached out to some girls and they said they would love if a guy did that for them. I did for my next date and the girl loved me.

It’s also comfort. Girls feel comfortable around you when the pressure’s off. There was a girl I was really close with and the tension was insane at times, but when I was dating someone else, I could feel the tension off. She would want to spend more time with me, be more intimate, and invited me back to her place.

A girl told me everyone here is trying to date up and get some Stanford doctor and as she said it’s not working out for anybody. It’s stupid because I do really well, I’m just not flashing money around. It really does seem like some weird trend going on here to kind of put men down. Or try to. There’s just this weird “check your privilege” attitude that came out of nowhere.

I think I’ve been rejected by every girl in San Francisco.

Thanks. I’ve got a great life outside of apps too. Improv, salsa, bike meetups, yoga. I’m keeping busy. Works been great. My last job wants me back (so my perception should be somewhat on point). Then I get to dating and feel like I’m in the twilight zone. Something isn’t clicking.

Mostly been having a lot of dates not work out. I had one girl all excited to meet me. She hearted my comments on Bumble. We went for a great walk by the Golden Gate Bridge and got drinks. When we finished, she said “this was great!” We both wanted to go to the MOMA so I said I’d be in touch. She said “yeah, you should.” All bubbly and everything. Then she text me “sorry for the bluntness, but it’s not the right fit.” Like she wanted to be blunt. Wanted to turn me down or something. I didn’t lea…

Awhile ago I would wake up on a Saturday and play games until night. I’d feel miserable and be too tired to go out. I started pushing games back, so go to the gym early, or go on huge bikes rides in the morning and then play games after to let my body recover. I felt way better and actually felt like going out at night. I didn’t miss a single second I wasn’t playing games. My mind has been so much more alert socially.

Bleu de Chanel. It's one of the best fresh clean non-overpowering fragrances available. It's like Suavage without the pepper and a bit more office friendly.

Thanks for bringing that up. It's been horrible lately. I wonder if Tinder Social killed it.

Have a place or event in mind. Say "hey, I'm going to this place later. Do you want to go?" Then pull out your phone for her to give you her number. It's a lot more natural and fun than just asking for a number.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
