On going communication is key. It's hard to keep doing this, especially when dealing with children and all that entails. I don't know how people have kids in their early 20s, their relationship skills are very under developed at that age. Living with a partner is teamwork and teamwork requires a lot of communication. I had not really thought about it. That sucks. I think part of it is that MtF is about three times more common. If you just watched the media you might think it was a lot more. Maybe some "progressive" journalists/activists have a harder time empathizing because they like being women. The trans community also faces a lot of ridicule and that might amplify the in-group bias. The MtF side embracing FtM just further puts them into the trans group instead of into the female group like they want.

Around 80% of the jobs in the US military are non-combat, though I'm not sure how that would change after an active draft. I think women should have the responsibility of protecting this country. Using the mean of male income treats men as a collective and hides the individual experience, often for political gain. That bottom graph shows salary workers with men out earning at every age. My guess is that women make a lot more when working for a wage, and that accounts for the much higher overall median weekly income. Using a mean instead of an median might also bump up the disparity if we assume a larger portion of total male income goes to the top earners compared to that distribution with women, and that would make sense as typically wage jobs earn less than salary.

I added up all the children of presidents that appointed the current supreme court justices. Ten girls and five boys, the boys are all from Reagan and Bush senior. I think physical punishment is always wrong. Physical behavior modification can be appropriate if the child's behavior is dangerous/life threatening or has caused a lot of harm to another person (running into traffic/ intentionally kicking sibling in the head). Still, it should only be enough to get full attention and as soon as possible, then followed up by a discussion why their behavior was wrong, your expectations, and other consequences as needed.

Women are a majority of voters, so are fully responsible for who ends up in government, and seem to be doing pretty well for themselves. It really depends on where you live. Some police forces are helpful and friendly. If you listen to a police scanner for a few hours you can start to understand all the services that police offer a community. If it's dangerous weather you might as well ask the police if they are the closest option. I locked my keys in the car on a stormy winter night and an officer came by and unlocked it for me no problem. Just be sure to use the non-emergency number if it's not an emergency.

That's exactly what I saw. So I'll look deeper. Wolframalpha says there are 4.8 million more females in the US than males. Statehealthfacts says there are 4.39m fewer uninsured females in the US. It's probably partly due to federally funded state health care for low income women. But that does not explain how North and South Dakota flip flop the spectrum like that (not that I'm a political expert). Maybe there is just some randomness to it.

You don't see mixing at the top levels on TV, but a lot of sports are mixed in the US. I played indoor soccer in college and it was co-ed and very athletic. The problem we have seen with observation and testing in CA is that close to 99% of people are deemed too dangerous to release by the politicians that need to sign off on release recommendations. It should be done by an anonymous board of independent professionals like a firing squad. One vote or more of three gets the person out.

People can direct things at there gender without being sexist. If you wanted to talk about the bigger picture or just the male side I think you should have gotten your own conversation going. It just seemed a little pushy to me. Awareness has to start somewhere though.

The women in the video wanting to parade around topless without people taking pictures is naïve. She wants people to not show interest in a sexual part of the body that is normally covered? The point of a parade is to attract attention. Further, arguably the biological and (in our society) social function of boobs is to attract attention. You got it, get over it.

Well, 6.6% of the State prison inmates in 2001 were women. Do you have any stats from the US DOJ broken down by crime and sex? I can't find anything useful.
