No issue as long as she's honest. Otherwise a house in the burbs, 2 kids and a dog later and you run into a football team she fucked while you're getting Starbucks.

Op mentions escorts and very high n-count women. I enjoy alcohol in safe and socially acceptable amounts. But I'd still expect to be negatively judged by others if I was an alcoholic. BUT you have zero right to judge non-virgins or cast aspersions on them He was also very clear about not "casting aspersions on them". He has every right to judge them for their behavior, same as every other behavior people exhibit.

Like its not outdated because it's born out of that mutual agreement "you raise our kids and give up a history of work, thus putting up a greater financial risk long term, so I will cover those payments, and you are due equal assets and some basic monthly income. If you signed a rider to the marriage vows outlining these terms I would agree with you. Otherwise I don't.

Alimony isn't common, so I don't think reform is needed. That's like saying most black people don't get beat up by police so reform isn't needed. Alimony as a legal concept is outdated and unneeded and should be reformed. Studies show men who ask for custody get it about half the time Location dependent. assets aren't split based on sex lol OK? I never said they were.

Right - but I'm not saying how things are currently but arguing how the law should be reformed obviously. Marriage has become too risky financially for men given the ease at which a no-fault divorce can be obtained.

Alimony is born out of a mutual agreement that both people opted in for. What? Marriage vows are all about "till death do us part". That is the contract people opted in for. Once divorce happens, all obligations under the marriage contract should cease immediately. If a lower earning or stay-at-home spouse is concerned about post-divorce earnings then he/she should opt to work.

No. 2 is also still quite relevant with higher earning parents having to pay child support to the lower earning one.

Yeah this but mostly alimony. I don't even care about asset splits in divorce. Split it in two and walk away. What I find totally ridiculous is that there can be ongoing contractual financial obligations after the other party decides to end the contract. I think a lot of what's wrong with current divorce law could be fixed with: Custody is automatically 50/50 unless the parties decide between them that they want a different arrangement. As per the above, 50/50 custody means zero child support wi…

humorous take on placard I disagree. women are not only protected ... The point is that there are no religiously inspired, puritanical laws that prevent men from getting any necessary medical procedures. The same should apply to women. The fact that this is not the case is certainly not a case of "pussy pass denied". You might feel the same when you knock up some fat drunken slob and are stuck paying child support for 18 years. go study up Ditto...

Everybody settles in all aspects of life with every decision they make. It's about having priorities and settling in such a way to maximize the total package. With dating and relationships are you just looking for arm candy? A lifelong companion? Regular sex? Someone with similar values for child-rearing? Someone who will contribute financially? Etc, etc etc. Refusing to compromise on anything will mean staying single as no person can be everything to anyone. The same is true for jobs, where you…

If you can't back it up with data then its feelings. The data I've seen is that when you consider hours worked in domestic labor + hours worked in paid labor then married men and women work very similar hours. And that's not adjusting for the difficulty or value of that labor, just hours.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/22 01:46 PM
-1

There are simple explanations for married couples having more housework. Children obviously but also marriage tends to improve couples finances. So you'd expect to see more married people in single family homes than apartments and condos. Also there are still many traditional couples out there which skews heavily towards the man being the main earner. Clearly in such cases the stay-at-home or part-time employed person should be doing more housework.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/22 10:47 AM

They're talking about domestic labor. Surveys and actual data > feelings.

As usual, cherry picking data allows you to tell any story you want. Here's a source that says the opposite based on data from the US Department of Labor: https://visme.co/blog/wage-gap/ Highlights: men work more hours than women. According to U.S. census data, men spend an average of 41.0 hours per week at their jobs, while women work an average of 36.3 hours per week. But we also found that married fathers work even more than other men, while married mothers work less than married women withou…

I want to see if there's a pattern here as it's very likely that most men in this sub work in heavily male dominated professions which renders them incapable of understanding women in real life. This is a very problematic approach to discovering anything of any value whatsoever. You're looking for evidence to support your pre-existing idea by sampling a small, biased sub-group.

Work hard, make money, exercise, do well for yourself and the reward is Chad's leftovers when you get to your 30's. Its also bad for average women too. Attention, easy dates and sex in your 20's from men who would never look at you as a long-term partner dials the delusion up to 11. Get to your 30's and your scrambling to lock down a sub-par guy or those who are too cynical to fall into the trap.

'Traditional' relationships are a thing of the past. A lot of men on this sub have accepted that fact.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/22 04:13 PM

Normally in a debate you discuss the substance of the argument, not personally attack your opponent and assume things outside of the scope of the discussion. This is what OP is talking about, not his dating intentions, not how attractive or unattractive he personally finds the subject of his anecdote. the fact that she would assume this, is because she likely only focuses on guys who only want sex to the point where she feels this is the norm, this is probably the reality for most women.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/22 05:25 PM

Women have a higher minimum level of education at all age ranges on average. When they break it down into age groups, men were more picky in the 40+ range. This could be because the disparity was greater in younger men and women or because men's pickiness was with regards to something other than the minimum standard (e.g. instead of re…

Re. the pair bonding thing - it also goes both ways. And no I've never been hurt or cheated on (that I know of obviously). It's an instinctual turn-off.

Women have an enormous list of non-physical mate preferences (income, ambition, values, financial history, past behavior, etc, etc) but if a man even has a hint of finding promiscuity unattractive all of a sudden his "insecurities" are the only possible cause. Its just a massive cope.

Why is someone having trauma a red flag? Not everyone wants to be capt. save-a-hoe.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/22 02:04 PM
2

OP's point was that there was a causative effect - lots of casual sex leads to trauma etc. But it also goes the other way - trauma (or other issues like low self-esteem) leads to lots of casual sex. Either way it confirms the main conclusion of OP's post which is that high N-counts are a red flag to watch out for in a partner you're considering for a LTR or marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/22 01:56 PM

PTSD, history of abuse and trauma, high n-count. I don't know how you think your experience is a counter-point to OP's argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/22 01:49 PM

I think he's referring to a related concept where people form an amalgamated idea of a perfect partner from the best features of a number of past partners. So the alpha in the alpha-widow might never have existed but you take one tall guy, one rich guy, one guy great in bed, etc. and she'll never be happy with a real person who couldn't possibly live up to the unrealistic standard.

I highly doubt its the norm for the vast majority of women to spend anywhere near 2hrs/day shaving and doing hair/makeup. I do however work out for 8hrs/week or more and also have to shave etc. and I don't look close to super ripped, 10% bf%.

In a world of hook up culture and casual sex only a fool worries about promiscuity. What's the point? There's no proof as to whether somebody has been promiscuous. In a world where the NHTSA exists only a fool worries about automobile safety.

A few ideas... Alimony should only be granted in exceptional circumstances and for a statutory, reasonable and minimal time needed for the non-working spouse to become self-sufficient. 2 years max would be plenty IMO. The marriage contract ends, so should the responsibilities. Equally shared custody should be the default and payments should be based on time only, again with statutory limitations. Its very jurisdiction-dependent. In some cases the presumed father can even be blocked by the court from submitting DNA evidence. Just google your state + child support + paternity + equitable estoppel
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/22 03:34 PM
3

If you were not married to the child’s mother at the time of the child’s birth The problem is that in many jurisdictions if paternity has already been established by statute (assumption of paternity for married men for example), the courts will not disestablish paternity unless the bio-father has been identified. That means if your hoe wife fucked a bunch of randos and doesn't know who the father is, you can be stuck paying child support. This is an actual thing that happens and in some places c…

Typical bs non-answer that absolves women of accountability for their actions. It doesn't matter how she feels about it. If the guy is disgusted by her sexual past then he won't commit to her. Also it's been shown here before that women have the same feelings of disgust for bisexual men. For me being a parent is more of a bond that the person has with the child rather than the blood relation. So step/adoptive parents are still parents even though the child has no blood relation to them. But with paternity fraud that relationship only exists because of the criminal fraud. But hilariously she says "until they get one." So she's under the delusion that men like her fat slobby body in theory but not in practice. She's half right I'd say.

Yeah. His mistake was letting himself become emotionally involved knowing what she was like before he started dating her.

You assume that all red pilled men arrived there from the same place and for the same reasons as you which is extremely myopic.

We get the basis of our society and legal system from the Romans. Are you suggesting we start including Jovian philosophy in discussions of modern society?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/22 12:30 PM

Its the other way around. Religion is a reflection of society. Christianity doesn't pre-date any of the things you listed.

None in Africa. Most countries in South and and a few in Central America, poorer Asian countries like Vietnam, etc. Some of the post-Soviet countries could definitely count though - places like Albania and Moldova 15yrs ago were dirt poor. The difference with poor African countries is that everyone at least has basic access to education.

Actually I was curious so I counted. I've traveled to 43 countries of which 29 can be considered "3rd world" at the time that I first visited them at least (post-soviet reconstruction countries for example).

I agree with the sentiment. I just find that labeling everyone as phobic this and that has overtones of calling someone a bigot for perfectly normal behavior and preferences.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/22 08:20 PM

Well you are biphobic I wouldn't consider finding <some characteristic> unattractive means that someone has an irrational fear or aversion to that characteristic. Its a simple preference.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/22 08:07 PM
2

No I'm not. You can't tell if someone is a parent by looking at them. I'm only talking about relationship value. Dating someone with kids is less desirable than dating someone without. Dating someone older is less desirable than dating someone younger. You describe yourself as fit and attractive but there's no getting around age in both cases. There are single ex-models who find themselves in the same situation for the same reasons.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/22 08:45 PM

Right, so you have a subjective opinion on what high value qualities you believe you possess and bring to relationships, and the other posters hold the subjective opinion that those things are less important than your 2 biggest low-value qualities - being an old single mother. Also by virtue of the fact that you are an old single mother, it becomes harder to believe that your other positive qualities are as good as you say. Fit, attractive, intelligent, etc but not smart enough to avoid having a…

Well IMO long engagements are a sign of hesitancy by one or both of the people involved are a bad sign for the success of the marriage. /r/PurplePillDebate05/01/22 04:30 PM

No but it's an interesting factoid that she thought to include to make her profile more interesting. Most people would treat a traumatic event like that as deeply personal and only share it after some level of connection and trust had been established.

If this was a sudanese website talking about FGM you'd see the same things from women who have had it done. The victims are often the biggest proponents later in life. But there's no real argument to be had. Its a barbaric, medically unnecessary practice that can result in a range of permanent health issues from sexual dysfunction to death.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/22 02:20 PM

She also has the gall to say... I regret....us not working on our relationship when we could. After all that she still blames at least some of the breakup on the guy lol.

So this post is supposed to be a counter-point to this one I take it? Its hardly the same thing though. The other post was generalizing the mainstream views of modern women (whether you agree or disagree is not relevant). The incel 'community' is a fringe group full of extremists. It's the old "women are born, men are made" type response. By virtue of being a woman she "deserves" a good partner despite her low status and baggage, especially since she's putting in so much effort. A man on the other hand, only has himself to blame for any lack of success in any area of his life so if he complains about it, he's really just broadcasting his failure.

It's a lot of "he claimed" this and that based on absolutely nothing. He assumes that gender roles are the result of socialization. Did he actually formulate a testable hypothesis of how this happens and then test that hypothesis against the experiences of different societies and cultures or a single society through time? Has he related supposed social-constructs to similar behaviors found in the animal kingdom? Did he even base his initial assumption that men "don't like women" on any actual ev…

Of course people will judge women for their sexual choices and behaviors just like they'll judge them for all their other choices and behaviors too. That's how individuals function in groups ffs. It all comes down to: become more attractive, but don't commit to women who are mainly interested in you because of your status, just use them for sex. I think it's a bit more complex than this. Becoming more attractive gives men more options and reduces simping behavior and oneitis for low value women, freeing them up to meet and form a LTR with a HVW if that's what he wants.

It's because FDS women don't seem to be struggling on getting dates.I have never seen a post where they complain about no man wants to fuck them. This isn't really relevant. FDS: strategies for landing a HVM for a traditional marriage. The implication is that they haven't been able to achieve this on their own. TRP: strategies for attracting women for sex. The difference is that while TRP approaches the problem from a "accept reality and adapt to it" standpoint, FDS is to basically wait for ever…

The philosophies are completely at odds though. TRP: teach men what women really want (in their opinion) and recommend strategies for attaining those attributes. FDS: teach women what they should want/demand and hold out till the bitter end until they find it. There's also the value of work done. If the wife spends an hour doing laundry that's worth $50(??) in terms of what you would have to pay for someone to do it for you. If I spend an hour fixing an appliance, doing the car maintenance or building something for the house, that could be worth hundreds or maybe even thousands of dollars.

This is just an example of selection bias. You'd see the same thing if you looked at cases where the father was seeking child support. That's a lot of words to say not much at all. The bottom line is that you assume that N-count is some special exception to the past/future behavior relationship and choose to ignore the actual statistical data that points to the opposite. Marriage is probably the biggest legal and financial commitment a person will make in their lives. Trusting your gut and ignoring red flags is not good advice.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/21 12:26 PM

If you are evaluating a potential mate for marriage then it absolutely is relevant to ask the question. Your checking account analogy is silly though. A better one would be would you ask your marriage-potential partner about their finances like if they had ever been bankrupt? Past behavior is the best indicator of future behavior. Not accepting that simple fact of life is lunacy.

I recall reading that there was a big change though depending on the setup. When women were walking around to meet men seated at fixed tables, some (maybe all) of the effect was reversed.

Someone who isn't attracted to him? That's another huge assumption based only on the fact that she once had a different boyfriend. No. In a post where she's defending her current relationship vs her past ones, she describes her fiance as "decent looking". Not enthusiastically attracted to someone you're not even married to yet?? Do you need her to spell it out any more clearly? I'm sorry if i assumed you are insecure because your assumptions on this guys relationship are all insecurity based. Fe…

if your standards are based on deep seeded insecurities that's probably not going to work well for you in the long term No. My advice to the OP's doctor fiance would be to rationally assess the risks before committing himself financially to a woman who isn't attracted to him. He holds all the cards - he's a young doctor with options. Why would he gamble his financial future on someone he doesn't trust? And your personal attacks on me are just silly. We're not talking about regular boyfriends. The type of girl who dates college-level athletes who themselves have lots of options meant she was out-competing a whole gang of other hoes. The doc would be insane to marry her. She danced around the issue in the original post but it was clear that she wasn't attracted to him. It's a divorce rape in the making. She's probably already getting fat too.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/21 11:44 AM

Or you know, he could just find a girl who managed to skip the hoe phase, or he could choose to not get married. You seem to think his only option is to stick to what he's got. And thinking that would make him "miserable forever" rather than being married to a woman he doesn't trust and is resentful of?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/21 10:52 AM

There's no contradiction. All humans form closer pair bonds through sex. There are chemical reactions and hormonal changes that happen which are part of being in love. That said, men also have a biological imperative to fuck multiple women. We can suppress it through self control but that doesn't mean we don't want to and obviously it does happen quite a lot. It doesn't necessarily change the long term partner relationship either as long as the cheating isn't a symptom of some other issues. It's…

face, weight, boob size, and body for women. You missed the part of the OP's point that women can and do change these factors quite easily. Face: make-up, fillers, botox, hair extensions, etc, etc. Weight: eat less and exercise more Boob size: implants For men, there are no good options for any of these physical traits. Fitness is not listed but is the one thing that can make a big difference.

I'd consider myself somewhat similar but I do have a big problem with a lot of the right-leaning views on fiscal conservatism, especially when it comes to the costs of doing nothing on environmentalism. The GOP has devolved into thinking that govt investment never has a positive ROI which is at odds with historical reality and cost/benefit analysis of current spending. Conversely, tax cuts have an extremely low ROI (even negative) when targeted at high earners.

I can't tell if you're trolling or just don't know the first thing about statistics (other than the line or two you've pulled from Wikipedia). The correlation/causation thing is very important in determining whether or not one thing can predict another. Global warming has increased and there are fewer pirates sailing the seas. Does that mean a lack of piracy is causing global warming? With ONS and mental illness it could be the case that mentally ill people seek out ONS at a greater rate than me…

When a woman is on OLD and can select from loads of top guys, the ones she picks are much likelier to be men that she actually would want to date than is the case for the men on OLD. Not saying that women don't sport-fuck too but I doubt they do as much as Chad.

The abstract doesn't make their methodology totally clear but I thought they took a bunch of pictures of men and tweaked each one in the same manner (widening the face, enlarging the eyes, etc). Then women looked at both faces and chose the high and low sociosexual. That would mean that both groups would have the same average characteristics unrelated to the facial structure changes (skin tone, beard, hair color, etc) because both end groups would have the same people in them. But it looks like …

/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/21 09:24 PM

Well that's a totally different discussion. Beta bucks men should be angry that women settle for them after years fucking Chad and those women who end up settling should be mad that they were the sold false promise that sexual interest from top tier guys was anything more than purely sexual.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/21 08:04 PM
1

Actually now that I think about it, the beard issue is problematic regardless. I assume they took 100-ish men and used a computer to create different facial structures of the same man and then got participants to rate those. That means the final composites should have the same average facial hair for both which clearly isn't the case.

Because its behind a paywall.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/21 06:09 PM

No. Women should be upset that they have the illusion of choice when it comes to looking for attractive men to date for serious relationships. They should realize that the massive amounts of attention they get on OLD bears no relation to their perceived value by the opposite sex. I.e. women need to have a realistic idea of their value if they want more than a string of pump 'n dumps.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/21 06:09 PM
4

In their example picture they gave the 'high' sociosexual score guy a beard ffs. I think they set out to prove something and generated the evidence to do so. They also used a small sample of test subjects and found that the women were "better than chance" at predicting the subject's self-assessed attitude towards casual sex. The abstract doesn't say how much better but I'd wager that its more explainable by tester bias (e.g. the beard) than by participant perception.

Why get jealous about other people making money? Aside from being wholly unproductive and needlessly bringing yourself down, you're also falling for the apex fallacy when you assume that most girls are top-earners. Its akin to getting jealous of the handful of (mostly) guys who got rich off Dogecoin. Let them enjoy their success and live your own life.
/r/MGTOW219/07/21 01:11 PM
2

That's totally fair but I don't think its hypocritical. It would be if I, as a promiscuous man who prefers low n-count women, got butt hurt over being rejected for having a high n-count myself. I think everyone is entitled to having their own standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/21 04:17 PM
2

You're unlikely to get much pushback for having these standards. People are much more accepting of women having strict requirements for the men they date than men doing the same. Of course you have to remember that a) there's no real way of knowing your partners true n-count, and b) the stricter your standards, the smaller the pool of potential partners will be. Personally I wouldn't even consider a sexless LTR or getting married before having sex even if we were super compatible in every other …

/r/MGTOW218/07/21 02:33 AM

I think TRP has a lot of hate for the lack of accountability that women tend to have for their actions. Imagine being in a committed relationship or marriage (yikes) and finding out your partner was a former internet stripper. That's going to be endemic over the next 10yrs if the number of OF girls is anything to go by.

Nobody won in this one except the lawyers but if my ex behaved like that and turned down reasonable settlements and dragged it out for years I'd feel like I'd won regardless. The ex got pretty much nothing and doesn't have the money to enforce the pitiful final alimony order. /r/MGTOW217/07/21 01:35 PM

Education is a proxy for income though, especially if you're getting married young before peak earnings years. Taking a bet on a partner with a higher education level gives you a better shot at higher income. If education becomes less of a distinguishing characteristic in terms of judging future earnings potential then women will look to other qualities instead. It doesn't mean that hypergamy is dead - just that education isn't as useful as a screening criteria.

Look I don't know what your workout program is like and I was in no way saying that you'll hit peak muscle mass in 6 months. Mass is much, much harder to gain. Don’t make me tag someone What? No. Mass is the easiest thing to gain. You pick up heavy weights and put them down again repeatedly plus eat a lot of food. A average man will rapidly gain muscle mass if he sticks to any program for 3-6 months, even something basic like SL5x5. I'm not trying to be rude or judgemental or anything but a 20yr old man who has no interest in women is not 'normal'. Maybe you're trying to convince yourself? MGTOW isn't about deluding oneself about basic biological desires but not letting those desires dictate the course of your life.

I'm a 20 yo m that hasn't really been interested in girls. I don't really see the point of trying to date one and every time they have asked me out I have rejected them. MGTOW is for men who have woken up to the realization that the deck is stacked against them and the best course of action is to not play the game. so women not only have more valid reasons to cheat, they’re doing so when in an already unhealthy relationship Um no? I said nothing about the quality of the existing relationship. The point is that when men cheat, its usually for pure physical reasons. When women cheat its usually for a combination of physical and emotional/mental reasons. Both the articles you posted were dealing with cases where the court made a determination of custody and where some form of abuse was alleged. Neither is the norm. Most of their responses were in negative in that the resources from the man would have to be split and thus not entirely on the focus. While this may be true (and totally unsurprising) as a preference, its definitely not a deal breaker for many (most?). If you're looking for a LTR then obviously you want it to be special, i.e. lacking elements that other casual dating partners/relationships lacked. It's not purely about ego. Yeah but he has a very strong case to get out of it, particularly as the OP has admitted to everyone involved including the real father. The OP's husband is extremely lucky she came clean. If she had waited a few years the courts would consider the established child-parent relationship in its determination, especially if the real father was ducking his responsibilities.
/r/MGTOW203/06/21 05:16 PM

A good prenup does work but only really to protect assets that you bring into the marriage. People expect too much of them and fail to draft them properly which is the biggest problem. i.e. make sure both parties have independent legal council before signing.

I think it's odd people go around announcing their preferences. Move in silence. No one knows why you're not dating them. I disagree. Especially in OLD its expected that you put some basic preferences at least. The tax breaks are real (at least in the US) especially if one spouse doesn't work or earns a lot less. Also things like next of kin, medical decision making, etc but lots of that can also be accomplished via living wills and estate planning.

I disagree. You can have different standards for casual sex partners and potential LTR partners. Screening for LTR involves a completely different set of requirements and risk factors (values, children preferences, financials, etc). The financial and personal risks of a marriage ending - especially for men - warrant having very high standards and its a proven fact that promiscuity is a risk factor for cheating and divorce. You can have different standards for your potential partners than you hav…

Its not necessarily the fault of the courts though. Alimony is only awarded when you sue during the divorce and get awarded the benefit. Women file in the vast majority of cases and are also much more likely to sue for support. The fact that men fail to assert their rights is as much to due with social stigma and self respect as the law. Edit in bold

If you're giving a romantic interest a full breakdown of your finances then you are emphasizing your provider qualities. Is sexual attraction in such a different category than material security? Yes obviously. Why do you seem to make one an acceptable want but not the other? Both are desirable. I take issue with men being expected to provide one in the absence of the other from their spouse. Is it really that complicated to understand that men would prefer to be sexually desired in a committed partnership?

Yes, the rich nerd is going to be more attractive than the broke supermodel-esque hotties with older and/or more relationship minded women. Not "more attractive" at all. This is women sacraficing physical attractiveness for material comforts and security. Russia did this in the aftermath of WWII but it was because so many men had been killed that they didn't really have a choice as they wanted to regrow the population. Single mothers were given housing and money and the social stigma against being fatherless pretty much disappeared as it was so common. No idea. I haven't seen that stat. Was it never married or previously married? The latter is self perpetuating because women live longer than men regardless of marital status.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/21 01:44 PM

Longer life is probably a stat where you'd want to check the assumptions. Marriage is "normal" so most heathly, normal men will get married. Conversely, unhealthy men (and/or clinically depressed and suicidal men) are less likely to get married which would skew the stats negatively for that group. If you adjusted for basic health and lifestyle I doubt you would find a difference.

The whole point of using medians is to actual get a realistic average that is not skewed by outliers. The number of sexual partners a person has is not normally distributed (obviously). There is a lower bound of zero and an upper bound limited only by time and attractiveness.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/21 07:51 PM
2

For most social/economic stats the median is used most often as outliers skew the data heavily (billionaires and average wealth stats for example). For physical traits population stats the mean, median and mode will all be very close as long as you control for things like male vs female. Median is still more accurate most of the time to avoid silly things like saying the average person has fewer than two legs.

The mean, median and mode are all different ways of expressing an average.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/21 01:45 PM

It's literally mathematically impossible You're bad at math. If you're thinking of average as just being the mean then a single woman banging a thousand men would increase the group average even if the rest of the women had N-counts of 1. But normally when doing population statistics you look at the median numbers which exclude these outliers so the average can be very different between the sexes. Example: 1000 men and 1000 women. They all partner off in monogamously except that all the men have…

The testosterone drop with age is pretty exaggerated (and is nothing like women's fertility drop). It peaks at puberty (duh) and then falls to a stable long term level before a man is 30. Subsequent declines are more to do with disease, injury and obesity than normal human physiology. If a man stays fit his testosterone levels should stay pretty constant unless there is some other health problem that lowers it.

If he still sleeps with her then that is on him. The job, hobbies, etc are ancillary. If the physical things were not lies but he subsequently discovers the other lies and nexts her, he still had sex with a hottie so still a win. Um... correct me if I'm wrong but didn't you start the name calling when you said women were selfish for having orgasms? Anyway I wasn't trying to insult you by calling you an incel. It was a simple statement of fact. Like if I called you an moron for example. That would just be an accurate reflection of your mental ability based on the evidence presented here, not simply my opinion.

Achieving orgasm solo is trivial for a normally functioning man. It can be more difficult, time consuming and less satisfying for women. And there may be some stigma but there's also completely anonymous online shopping too so if men wanted the sex toys they would sell in greater numbers. Obviously the products exist so some men like them.

For men in western countries, female promiscuity is bad because of how we've structured our society. We are encouraged socially, legally, financially, morally, etc to get married and be monogamous. Once married there are huge costs associated with divorce and female promiscuity increases the odds of divorce. So on the one hand society is telling women that they can have it all but on the other, men are realizing that they are expected to bear the costs (by and large anyway). This naturally creat…

Another point, why aren’t companies marketing it like this? Theres tons of horny, lonely men who need a simple way to solve their problems, especially with quarantine! Here's a simple truth: if there's money to be made, someone will step up and make it. What you are attributing to bias and social stigma is more easily explained by a lack of demand due to the fact that men come equipped with their own free sex toys.

By freak I mean at the tail ends of the bell curve in terms of unchangeable physical characteristics (i.e. not body fat %). At 5'3", in North America or Europe you are indeed a freak. Edit: Here's some data to show you what I mean. It puts you in the 2nd percentile of male height, so 98% of men are taller than you. If you were to compare that to facial attractiveness, what do you think the 2nd percentile would look like?

Today, I am working towards changing the medium of film forever and producing lasting and subversive art You're going to fail because you are dumb and have an overly inflated sense of your intelligence, insights and abilities. My advice is to set the bar a little lower. Start on fries, make your way up to flipping burgers and maybe with hard work and luck you'll be customer facing. From there the world is your oyster.

I can't tell if you're dense or just being deliberately obtuse. If you're fat but relatively average in looks, you're below average overall. If you're physically fit and average looks, you're above average overall. It's really not that complicated.

That's a lot of words to say that RP is less effective because women know about it too. But what you're failing to see is the RP isn't a trick. It's telling men how to give women what they really want, not what they say they want, at least when it comes to sex and attraction. Getting physically fit and more confident talking to women isn't going to backfire on a guy looking to get laid.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/21 11:31 AM

Thats probably true in a lot of cases but in MRP they get called out for it. Also the advice/reading is quite good. Get in shape, take ownership of your life and problems, don't display low value, etc. These are simple concepts that all men can apply to their daily lives.

You started talking about intimate partner violence and downplayed the incidence of it from women. I did the same (facetiously) with parental violence and showed stats why you were wrong. You now expand the scope to all violence? That's called moving the goalposts.

Your TV watching habits don't make good science. From the stats I can find: In the US in 2017 there were 2,237 spousal murders of which 1,527 were women (68%). Source. While higher, the odds certainly don't favor men by a huge margin. Over the period of 1980 to 2008, a parent was responsible for 63% of children under 5 who were murdered. 33% male perpetrators and 30% female. Source. Pretty close to even if you ask me.

I read a lot of true crime and unfortunately it usually is the woman hanging around the playground that needs to be checked out. There is a real chunk of women who are violent baby murderers and instead of all of us trying to do something about it women keep pretending all women are the same "good mothers" who wouldn't harm anyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/21 08:13 PM

It could be different men feeling those 2 things. But generally society places a lot of pressure on couples to confirm to standards. The woman trading up, the man being taller than her, etc. Some of that is evolutionary too so their might be a more primal explanation for why we behave in certain ways.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/21 05:03 PM

Does this men that men prefer women that make less money than them, as long as they are attractive? I think this is generally true but for several reasons: Lots of men just don't care about their partners' earning potential because they earn enough themselves and/or want a more traditional setup in a LTR. Some men feel emasculated by a higher earning woman. Knowing that women want to "trade-up", its a risk for a man to be in a LTR with a higher earning woman.

Hypergamy in women is that they will never be satisfied with their man and will be looking to "trade up" for a better man This is not what hypergamy means. It means that women seek partners that are higher than them in the social/sexual hierarchy. That could be any combination of looks, status, money, intelligence, etc. It doesn't mean that they will always be looking for a step-up once in a relationship as long as their partner starts and stays at a higher perceived value than themselves. Well reality is, most guys are: liars, cheaters, emotionally unvailable, manipulative/abusive, only care about their needs (specially their sexual needs) and about their egos and are not willing to invest much in a relationship. Most guys think having a relationship is just having a woman they can steadily fuck and don't think they have to put an effort into it, because if it ends, it's not their fault, just didn't work and they just leave to have other women. Yikes!

I get that it's easy to STFU, but I can't just never talk. Is this just a matter of continually falling on my face until I learn the lesson? STFU doesn't mean to act like a non-verbal autist. It means you don't talk about stuff that you should be internalizing and expressing through your actions. Some of those arguments are valid. Don't tell me that hiring managers won't assume that given a choice between a late 20s married female and similar aged married male that the female is more likely to leave to raise children. While he certainly had a better case for his position than the woman, he made very similar errors in his argument.
