Thanks for the response. I responded to him above. I just wanted to add that the thanks was not condescending in the slightest; it was completely genuine. I'm also a little surprised you thought that was passive aggressive. I kind of thought of myself as a direct person. Thank you for taking the time to respond because I was not aware that my words would come across that way

I agree with both of you guys. I'm sorry if I came across as offensive because that was not my intention. This was a perfect example of me carrying my past experiences into an interaction, which would be a good writing topic. I came in pissed off that my textbook contains spelling errors. Like, does no one proofread these things?
