My MIL is a piece of work. A feminist but hides it. She's twice divorced. Once for good reason but the first one...my FIL and wife's dad no one still knows why she left. She hates men but manipulates them into doing things for her and insists she can do what they can. She is textbook what the pill talks about it. One of my SILs is a carbon copy. My wife has slowly realized the toxicity over time but....it's still not easy.

argh. A year ago, I had the fortune of my wife at least telling me she was physically unattracted to me. Straight out told me. It was fortunate because she at least gave me warning and she herself is/was overweight. One year later I have made significant progress and somewhere got pissed off enough during lifting to see things were off...which lead me to MRP. For a long time I thought I was insane or a sociopath at the things I thought. I could actually love any woman, but my wife just happened …

Don't disagree. At the time I didn't know how to handle it. I do now, but it hasn't come up again. My lifting has improved my health to a degree where I didn't get sick this year. Even at my lowest I only got sick once a year.

Step 2: Stay the hell away from herbals; in most countries they're basically unregulated and you have no clue what you're buying I'll echo this. I knew a guy who was a big marathon/tri-athelete. He was looking to get an edge and ventured into the herbal realm. Bought some herbal teas that were supposed to help with energy and such. Ended up with a serious opiate addiction so bad he was hospitalized for 3 months. It began destroying his body.

My wife hates it when I get sick or injured. She strikes like a lion on a wounded gazelle. She has even commented that she would rather I stay in a hotel room until I am better. This is despite the fact that when I am sick I am still up and doing. I even shovel snow with a 101+ degree fever. I just believe in working out a illness. I am usually better in a couple days. Her? racked out on a couch for weeks while served drinks and medicine. I tend to get better quicker without lounging all day. Fo…

I bought some wheels and tires for my truck. Put the old ones on Craigslist for $600. I thought they were worth that much. Nobody else agrees with me, apparently. I still have them. I'm going to repost them for $300. But, I realize they may not have as much value as I think. you owe me a new keyboard. That shit made me laugh and spilled coffee all over it.

True. The thing I haven't revealed is that I gave her warning orders last summer that our sex life was unacceptable. She read between the lines and was freaked out about me wanting a divorce. Which lead the schedule because she claimed she can't handle my "high sex drive". This was in the middle of my weight loss so I accept that I wasn't at the state I am now so her attraction was still low. I may have to do it again. So for me it isn't something I am afraid to do and have not done before

Actually I thought my kids could handle it and gave them old iPhones i had. this is when it occurred to me what kind of an obsession it has become. I played Nintendo at their age and...well it didn't hold the hours of interest it seems to do today. I had to take the phones away. It's scary really.

She's lion taming with a chair, think the lion is actually unable to free himself? This reeks of a covert contract, where you sit quietly and build, and eventually she will come around. This is a horrible attitude, it's basically a passive way of 'doing it for her' or 'if I do X, she'll give Y'. Fuck. I see it now. Huh. The fact you accepted her schedule means you're ass deep in her frame. Notice she has the energy to go and ski solo, but not enough to enjoy 15 minutes of your dick? That tells y…

You are missing the forest for the trees. You are looking at every tree in detail, instead of observing the forest. The whole is greater than the sum of the parts etc You are likely correct. I need to mediate on this one. Time for you to take more ownership over what you are doing and WHY you are doing it. The Sex you want comes as a side effect of doing all the other stuff. If you are doing all this simply to have sex with her, then you are missing a trick. I know RP is a sexual strategy, so in…

To me, this reads like you really aren't thinking that leaving her is a possibility. In other words, you're bluffing. Actually I fight this urge daily. Like most the journey to RP was long and while I made improvements on my own before I knew there was an actually framework to attach to I had come to this decision. I know she isn't special. She just annoys me less then other women at the moment. I also know I could actually love/respect any other woman and wouldn't mind walking away. It would be…

Your entire post is about her. You are spending way to much time analyzing her behavior and wants when you should be analyzing your own. Not trying to argue but it seems that's what I am doing. True...I spent a lot of time analyzing....but it seems I have to pay to attention to her behavior...actions not words. When her behavior is negative then I reevaluate myself. Go back through the process and Look to see where I need to improve. Like I said she is shallow and selfish. It could as simple as …

Frankly one of the rules for beginners should be to quit playing video games. Explicitly stated and cold turkey. It's like drinking beer. I don't understand the near level of obsession that they have become. Growing up I had Nintendo and played but never that long. Just didn't hold much interest. Get rid of the box. Period.

Oh boy. This one is hard for me. I didn't expect it to be. But I'm lazy when it comes to clothing. Right now my style is till very militarish. I have uniforms. Same shirt and pants just different colors. All easy to get ready. The complication is that I'm expecting changes. I've lost over 100 pounds in 10 months. I'm taking bodybuilding classes and expect serious changes in the next 6 weeks. Even now I lost another 15 pounds in the last 5 weeks. I'm hitting the gym like a cheap phillipino whore.…

If you were Wild Bill from Silence of the Lambs, what would you say to yourself when looking in the mirror? 8-0 I have no idea what you mean by this.It might be because I'm whipped like a puppy from lifting today. But I think I get your other meanings. Had some interesting things happen last night where she was all supportive of things I'm doing even threatened to break my arm if I ate a piece of pizza and break my diet. I failed that shit test.

My wife uses viber for her part time online tech support job. It will show you online if you have it your smartphone as it runs in the background. I know this because...it's on their FAQ page and I have viber my smartphone. A smartphone is required to get a viber account. My wife doesn't have a smartphone so I installed it for her so she could use it.

Frankly you don't. Women are NOT like that. I went through marriage counseling once with my wife and this was something the counselor stressed. No one controls your feelings. Now my wife will use this against me like a weapon but has every excuse in the book why it does not apply to her. The fact is...you don't Convince her because all she is emotion. I have no idea if I will have a main event. My journey to RP has been a long process. while I found it the way others did I also believe I was RP before it was a thing on the Internet....somewhere along the way I dumped myself in favor of my wife as the pinnacle of everything. Once I had a LTR who I thought I was going to marry after college. She did to. But near the end my instincts started driving my thoughts to what I would do if we split. Good point. Though I don't go all for the stereotypical romance stuff I did buy her a tulip plant for her garden. On it a hand written card that reads: "Love you. Because you annoy me less then other people. " She laughed. Liked the tulip...she's wanted them for the garden this spring.

I'd argue you should be an ambassador in person. But I'm a have the "courage of your conviction" kind of guy. While I take the approach laid out here, slow don't use MRP or TRP "power words" I talk to the philosophy and pass on advice. Had remarkable results so far with last being a high water mark. I watch my SIL do the same thing to her ex and her boy friend (with who she also had a kid)...not that either of them are worthwhile individuals. Still it was amazing to watch her justify her actions and my MIL and the other SIL buy it. My wife bought into the reality distortion only until I reminded her we are hearing it second hand and only what her sisters wants us to know. Just a note on that....while I did buy /u/BluepillProfessor book I had to setup a whole new account to do so. You can't hide books on Kindle...or I haven't figured out how. My family shares a Amazon account. SO if you buy it it will show on everyone else's kindle. EDIT: Never mind. Figured it out. BUT you need access to other Kindles and devices that access that Amazon account. It is not intuitive.

My mom was really pushing me to do it when i was 17 or so...before I left home. I used have hair down to my ass...braided. A child of the big hair 80s what can I say? Joined ROTC and the National Guard....came home shaved head. Never looked back. My best pick up line in college would be when a chick wanted to touch my head. My wife hated it at first as well....but I've been doing it way before I swallowed the pill. I am 40. Been shaving it since I was 18. I saw the writing on the wall with my dad and grandfathers. So...why live the lie. There are a couple places around here that do straight razor shaving. I could do it myself but the clean up and it takes a lot longer. Besides the place I go to has Hot chicks...scalp massage. Best hour. I go every 2 weeks. If you want to learn to control your mind iaido and kendo are the way to do it. Those arts require you to be 100% focused on the moment. Watching two masters in a match is hands down breath taking. I've seen a pair off then after about 5 minutes of holding jodan one bowed out. He later said his opponents spirit was stronger. Fascinating stuff.

my wife would not understand. She grew up in a house of abusive men...not physically but emotionally for sure and her mother is a feminist. You were an Officer in the military? Or are you talking ROTC? Prior service 19K in 246 Armor MIANG (I think they are deactivated now) Then ROTC left service at the rank of Captain. My opinion is if you truly fucked up then you need to. I draw an distinction between I'm sorry and I apologize as well as making a mistake. So for me...and my wife is starting to learn. Here are three responses I have. "I'm sorry." I am NEVER sorry. "I apologize for that." I will apologize if I harm someone in some way. "Yep. I made that mistake. I won't again." Back when I was 18 (40 now) I didn't date. TRP wasn't a thing then, but by putting off dating I was able to pay my way throughs school with minimum loans, which I paid off over a few years after. while my wife isn't cheating I can confirm the lying part. Caught my wife in a lie this morning and the hamster went every where - even how it was my fault for making her feel bad. Sex life is improving slightly, but still not good. I'm not imitating much because I can't yet even fake OI over it, so I'd rather just not get into it at all. What I am finding is that you need to any way. Even if inside you are not you need to work it out and learn to deal with the emotions. Read the blogs a bit and they are telling you that you have emotions but you need to deal with them in a more masculine way. Heh. Well that's the rub isn't it. This process, while freeing, isn't exactly a clean break. My logic/rational brain is all gung ho, full steam ahead but frankly my emotional or BP side is still very much in mourning for the relationship I thought I had. It's a hard thing to come to grips with right out of the gate. It's like a duck on water. Calm and still on the surface calmly floating along but underneath those legs are kicking madly. Time. Honestly for me Martial arts is a good outlet for anger. It's both a physical outlet and an inward study. I study "traditional" okinawan arts and it forces you to examine yourself....especially if your dojo is grounded in old methods of teaching. If you don't like martial arts perhaps meditation. Take the time out to focus on yourself and more then just moving and doing. Sometimes doing nothing and just breathing is important. Your mileage may vary.

Too much Truth being spoken here. Much of what I am reading and learning is really bringing up some stuff. I am remembering what it was like when I was in my 20s. I really didn't give a fuck. My money was my own. I didn't date much...didn't see the point. I had things to do. If only Redpill had been around back then. Save myself a lot of trouble.

Hm. Going for the record amount of shits in one post? Ha. Got your point. Crystal.

Cheaper by far I'm sure.

Yep. That's almost an exact conversation. Thanks.

She is a classical pianist. The lower floor of the house has been completely converted to be a piano studio. And...my ass bought her two pianos over the years. One baby grand and one EXTERMELY expensive upright.

Neither. As I wrote it I put my big boy pants back on. As for her that's not my job it's hers. She's made her choice to be an introvert and a "recluse". It's actually a family trait of hers. her entire family is, for the most part, introverted. Despite what they say. I got this.

I find martial arts to be the best remedy. True study is about inward. Disicipline to keep training, to consider each movement and it's application. Focusing inward. Never accepting less then the best, but always knowing you never will be. I've only started the Redpill journey...again. I say again because I remember when I was 20 how this felt. The liberation of being just me and not giving a fuck. Somehow I started caring more about what my wife thought and felt but as they say she is capriciou…

Yes. It's what lead me here. Realizing that a AWALT has been a big game changer for me. In short my wife is a bitch. But right now I only have myself to blame. I realize it's going to be maybe a year before I see tangible results across the board but it's small things. Like she's far more upbeat, chipper when I'm around. I can't just come out swinging on behavior I once just knuckled through...even though I want to. There are patterns of behavior that are ha-pending exactly as described here (la…

Good gouge. Strength is not the absence of weakness but the acceptance of it.

This. Right here. Even as new as I am i know that you can't just walk out naked and say fuck me I am man. Though you have to be careful of a covert contract. Be mindful of the journey not the goal.

Yeah. I am seeing I certainly came out hitting hard. It didn't feel like it but i can see how. I don't want to lose my momentum though. Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast.

Fitness I will loose another 30 pounds. This will put me closing in on the 10%BF goal and will allow me to start the body building classes at my gym (they require you to be at your ideal body weight for this class). Diet this is part of the current workout program I am on. Not to get into details about the diet because I personally think I am killing it here I do want to cut my caffeine intake. No more then one cup of coffee a day. Hygiene Never thought I had a problem here. BUt let's evaluate. …

Doing well. Internalization is the key. Yes. What I didn't add is that I have added 10 minutes of meditation to my day. It helps. I did it in my early days of martial arts. Can't believe I stopped. I think a lot of guys may experience a flush of excitement from their wife/ltr due to the surge of novelty. You start to switch over (even gradually) and they suddenly have more to deal with emotionally when it comes to you. It's like press for the famous. No press is bad press, when coming from a pla…

Frankly speaking my entire life I have felt like I could love any woman. My wife is nothing special really. I mean she's beautiful, there is a slut inside her (i've seen glimpses of it). She's great BUT....I could love any woman with enough time. Ive never believed in soul mates, "the one"...none of that. Having kids....I don't regret my decision. Not at all. Is it the pinnacle of success? Is it the i ching of manhood? What I think is that it is another challenge. Not THE challenge but another o…

I'm driven by history. For me there's something of a shame to not pass your genetics on. Continuation of the family, honoring your father all that. To be fair though I'm a second generation American. My grandfather and grandmother immigrated from Italy and raised their 7 sons with old world values. Red pill sings loudly with these values that I'm rediscovering. That's what drives me. Honoring my forebearers

Huh. Lots to think about. Lots of little things I didn't catch. Yes...I do know how worthless her family is and I do know she has many of these tendencies. I do know she can be extremely lazy but...I have seen her pick it up as I have not to as great of degree...she even admits I have a stronger willpower then her, but give her her due. She has lost 70 pounds along with me. I do think that if I pick up my game she will as well....but only time will tell. Some questions: How do I prevent the mess…

Yes to the 445 in three hours. But i have no idea what the rest was. I deleted it and she never mentioned it later. If it was important I figured she would bring it up again. The first couple were about the dog though. History has shown that she will send each sentence as a text and they aren't all complete thoughts.

I was doing Redpill probably before it was a "thing" or at least before I knew it was a thing...it was just the way things were. I mean when I was 20, an Army Officer, and in charge of my shit. I am 40 now and throughout my 20s it was me. Somewhere after military service and marriage I got complacent, lazy and fat. I forget all the knew and my dad taught me. Fucking stupid, but there it is. Last April I had two wake up calls....one from my old lady and another from the doctor. Flash forward to n…

Interested in details. Budgeting is my weakest point. Something I've got to fix this year. I'm not as far in the hole....like 15K but any knowledge is worth learning.

My go to..."I don't want your trust". It's a bit of nuke option to be sure. Here's my reasoning. IMO women use trust as a weapon and don't understand trust. Guys don't necessarily blanket everyone with the "I don't trust you" banner. We tend to lean towards the trust but verify until it's confirmed that we no longer need verification. Even still I'd argue that men begin to trust until the situation or individual proves otherwise. Then we start the process again. Women throw this up just like eve…
