I'm so sorry for your loss, my friend. I adopted 2 sister kitties about 3.5 years ago, and I can make myself cry just thinking about the day they'll eventually pass on. The grief you feel now is just a reflection of the love you gave Panini during her life with you. I'm certain she was grateful for you too. The pain will lessen in time! Do you think you'll want to adopt again?

Better this week than last. Had been on a 4 month diet/exercise journey and lost a bunch of weight and felt great. Then Thanksgiving happened, then girlfriend had a spontaneous ER visit, so I spent 2 weeks comfort eating and taking care of her. Back to the diet and schedule this week and it feels great!

I try to occupy my time with stuff I enjoy. I read a lot, play a lot of video games, and recently got back into a serious diet/workout schedule. I also have two cats that keep me entertained.

Hey bud, I may not be quick to respond but you can shoot me a DM and I'll hear you out and do my best to help you through it. I've been on both sides of that issue.

Thanks for the advice, I really like the idea of coming up with one thing to do that will get me to go to bed on time. I often wish I could get up early enough to work out in the mornings, but I also love staying up either gaming or watching movies at night. I know that discipline is all it takes, and it becomes a habit after only a few weeks. I have all the time in the world now that my girlfriend has moved out. Exercise is the most underrated antidepressant, right? I'll try starting there, mak…

Fuggin struggling - repeating my cycle of self sabotage and depression. Girlfriend moved out over the weekend. Was an hour late to work today because I refuse to go to bed at a decent hour, and boss is mad. Started therapy last week so that's one good thing. I'm hoping to get a lot of insight into my thought processes and be able to break this goddamn cycle and learn how to love and respect myself.

Like that man from Earth said, it's important to communicate those feelings with each other. You've sacrificed a lot of time and effort to get you both to where you are, and I'm sure she feels the same way carrying a baby. The biggest thing I've learned with communication is that the first words are the hardest. Like ripping off a band-aid, you just have to say those first couple words and the rest should come naturally and from the heart. It's an essential part of training your mind to be stron…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
