Jiu jitsu is life, find your local school and get started, just go in with an open mind, be ready to learn, and have fun, its supposed to be fun not life and death when training. Jiu jitsu builds a strong body and mind.

Hell yeah 90's/00's was a great decade for music. All the grunge groups soundgarden, nirvana, Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, STP. Hip hop was at its peak some of it was crazy but a lot of good stuff too.

Fuck yeah! I'm obsessed with jiu jitsu I train everyday and just got purple. Great community. Very good physically for you but also mentally. I've seen so many people stop training because of gf's and marriages. Haha fuck all that even my favorite training partner will be gone soon because he's expecting a kid. RIP. Go train! It changed my life, I was a 240 fat beta. Now 200ibs and kicking ass!

Nice! I agree, music is just complete shit today. Nobody plays an instrument or has any talent whatsoever. There may be people I don't know of so correct me if I'm wrong but it's mostly all shit today. People talk about Kendrick Lamar and drake as good rappers but motherfuckers never knew the gold being dropped in the 90's with hip hop at its peak. Gang starr, Eric B and rakim, public enemy, tribe called quest the list goes on and on. Was stoned last night and went into a rabbit role of MTV unpl…

Striving for the ultimate mind and calloused mind. The ultimate goal is to be a better version of yourself each day and you get that by going outside of your comfort zones. There is no end goal, there will never be a point in your life we're you rest (except death) you have to get after it everyday and find limits to your soul. Bottom line do something that sucks everyday. Don't want to study? Study! Don't want to start the project? Start the project. Don't want to workout? Fucking workout! Buil…

Just ignore the bullshit and do your thing. IMO I didn't think college was too fun, I had a harder degree to work towards so I was always studying my ass off. Now that I'm done I'm stress free! Good luck!

Nice great choices, I'll have to check out the first group too. Grunge fits this sub well IMO. Soundgarden, smashing pumpkins, stone temple pilots, anything from the 90's really. 90's was at its peak with hip hop and rock plus the last decade with real musicians with real talent that put heart and soul into albums. What artists today actually make good albums instead of a shit single? Haha Today's shit is just a joke IMO.

For sure, I recommend doing some meditation in the sauna if you have access to one. Nothing better than breaking down your life while dealing with extreme heat and sweating profusely everywhere. I come out from a 30 min session feeling like a new man. Plus saunas have real health benefits that are proven look it up!

Focus on your career and building your ideal life. If you want sex use an escort, yeah you pay for it but who gives a shit. You get to fuck a 10 compared to trying to get laid by 2's and 3's and putting up with all the shit they bring.

Join a Jiu Jitsu school, once you stick around for awhile they become your family. I'm super close with all my training partners, and there's no ego or bullshit in the friendships, because once you start training you realize how hard this sport is, how long it takes to get good, and how you know nothing, it kills your ego. I love having a friendships were I can bullshit with them and then in class spar full out everyday and get all the energy and ego out of our systems and we all laugh about it …

Too focused on myself and career. I've always been an introvert and focused on my goals. I never liked going out or trying to get a chick to like me, it just feels so stupid and fake. I've had relationships and they were fun but were too time consuming. I love training Jiu Jitsu and hope to become a world class competitor and win many championships. That alone takes up so much of my time. It's an everyday grind. I also went back to school and I graduate in a couple months. Boom! So much work and…

100%, some people actually think that being nice is weak hahahah. No it's just way easier to be nice and respectful to everyone. It's work to try and put on a tough guy act. Plus you feel better, it feels good to be kind and help people. Also I'm nice because I'm confident I can end your life pretty easily. The nicest people are the most dangerous/skilled. Yeah there's exceptions but people who really walk the walk don't need to put out an image. Be yourself god dammit

Yes there is more of a risk of injury in bjj (Just had surgery lol) but honestly bjj is relatively safe. When your caught in a submission just god damn tap people! Tapping isn't a big deal it's like someone scoring a point on you in basketball, in training tap early tap often and just relax and stay loose when you train you can avoid a ton of injuries, trust me. Yeah shit can happen but out of the tournaments I've been too, I never saw a lot of injuries just some minor stuff. Oh god guys why do …

Jiu jitsu all fucking day. You'll learn more doing martial arts then hitting the gym, your learning a skill and technique which has mental benefits. I love all martial arts but IMHO Jiu jitsu is the best martial art to learn by far. So much to learn. I became obsessed with it years ago and never looked back. Changed my whole life and yeah it's cringy when people say that because it's gets thrown around a lot but it really did for me. Now I can say I'm a bad motherfucker who keeps coming forward …

Just tell them to bend over and shut up ,don't put up with the non-sense hahah, but find your passion and a career you can really enjoy. STEM and jobs that actually make a difference and are productive. Learn a skill like Jiu jitsu, welding, painting, whatever the fuck your into, it's good to know and refine a skill throughout your life. Exercise and eat right, it absolutely affects how you think and act. At 17 you got the world by the balls kid. Don't take shit from nobody and work your goddamn…

Happens in Jiu jitsu a lot at least in my experience. Guys will get really into it get their blue belt then meet some girl get married and start showing up less and less until we never see them again. It's sad because some of them are pretty good. Jiu jitsu>relationships

"I could sure use a vacation from this bullshit three thing circus. Fuck all you junkies and fuck your short memories!" Love Tool and the rest of the 90's grunge bands. Music was just on another level that decade. If you're a dude and you don't have AIC's dirt, nirvana, soundgarden and STP in your playlists get it together. Soundtrack for life

It's ok man, you're alive and breathing. Everyone has something positive to offer this world. You're full of potential no matter what people tell you. Everyone has the ability to rise up and self actualize. It may not be easy but it's possible. The world loves you and I love you. Don't hurt yourself brother. The storm will pass, this pain is only temporary. Let me know if you need anything. Just relax and breathe. Best,
