That comment is almost to ridiculous to even answer, but I guess I signed up for an effort post when I first posted. So lets go. 1: We can talk about statistics and what forces that produce these results. But we still have a variety of cultures across the world and individualism. 2: While men certainly get judged harder for the same crimes, and a lot of women are not caught because of the same bias, the cencus among socialogists is still that men commit more crimes than women. Both financial and…

The point of the sub is to show disparity indeed. But the subscriber climate doesnt really wanna talk about cause, effect and solutions they just want to bitch about it. And to the extent that people do bother to look at cause, effect and solutions, like 'the first half' that was agreed with, people discard that as soon as the names of these explanations are mentioned because those are words are something a liberal would say and/or you associate them with selfproclaimed thumblr SJW's who think a…

A large percentage of the population has been abused. Its just that men are expected to bear all burdons and suppress all feelings, while women are expected to not handle them. She hanged a baby and drove over two people, what more could we expect from her, shes a woman, she cant handle her feelings right? I know this isnt what this sub likes to hear, but this pussypass is a direct result of both misogony and toxic masculinity.

What does this sub have to do with women 'being inferior'?

Yes. Seing something unpleasant, while unwarranted doesnt really make you a victim of a crime, the crime is more towards the general public. It's basically the same thing they see on pop up commercials every time they se the internet. They werent touching anyone else or assaulting anyone in any way. Of course it shouldnt be allowed, but noone was hurt, taken advantage of or significantly scarred in any way.

Noone is saying that there wasnt a crime or that it shouldnt be illegal. Trying to argue about that is only a motte and bailey tactic. But they're being placed on a list which severely restricts their rights based on the fact that the people who (should) be put on that list are considered a very potential sexual predator. All I've done, which you all are arguing against, is to connect the severity of the punishment for this crime in that area to the same religiously conservative social values th…

The punishment for breaking that law is also quite extreme compared to other victim-less illegalities in a public space. They broke the law, but the punishment reflects a higher focus on the same values that gave her a pussy pass. It's very much connected.

So because they didn't assault anyone sexually they shouldn't be sex offenders? Exactly. The whole reasoning behind the sex offender list, which means you have to tell new neighbors when they move in or if you move somewhere else etc, perhaps even prohibits you from going near schoolgrounds or kindergardens, is so people can be careful so it doesnt happen to them. Would you argue that they shouldn't have been registered as offenders because they didn't actually harm anyone and they consented to …

They both ended up on on the sex offender list. You might say it's not "unfair" in the sense that anyone else committing these crimes in the same area also get labeled the same way but it's certainly unreasonable in the sense that the crime is fully consentual sex with no form of leverage from one part over the other and it ends up on this list. The fact that this is possible is an obvious success from the religious right to impose sharia like laws, as these pose no threath as a potential sexual…

I surely believe it's more needed there, but that doesnt mean that there arent quirks left that needs fine tuning in the west. Take the wage gap for instance. First of all, the whole 77% of what a man makes is across jobs, not for the same jobs, so it doesnt necessarily prove that women are treated unfairly. But it does highlight some conservative values that still linger that that limits peoples choices through norms if not by rules. You could perhaps say that reducing the wage gap is a mens is…

I'm just as much anti-feminists as the rest of you, I think you might be a bit more anti-feminist than the rest of us. I for one am not even an anti-feminist. I'll leave this here. Does that mean I support bullshit from self-proclaimed SWJ's? Of course not, I sorely believe in ability to clean up on your own "side". When feminism becomes anti-quality, Im against it, just like Im against racism also when it goes the "other" way. I just dont use it as a form of whataboutism. "Well black people are…

Neither are most things posted on this sub. They just get away with it a lot more often based on gender stereotypes. In these sort of cases this applies too, cause any failure to incarcerate an alleged rapist is seen as anti-equality, and incarcerating someone who alleges a rape is a million times worse. The fact that the allegations of rape werent just unproven, they were proven to be false with ill intent, which is illegal. But that had be put aside because the offender was the right/wrong gen…

It's irrelevant. Because it's got nothing to do with women If you read beyond the headline you may discover that its about a woman who got away with falsely reporting a guy raping her.
