get your life in order, become happy with who you are (no more of this 'I'm overweight and short and now as a 30 year old single man with no tools whatsoever' BS), develop alpha traits (these typically get minimized in an LTR), read up on seduction, get out & socialize, take risks, get out of your comfort zone, etc.

i'm guilty of this. i'll pass up a really hot chick and hit on a girl that seems like an easier target instead ... just another way of trying to avoid/minimize rejection. definitely need to stop doing this and hope that improving my game will help give me the add'l confidence.

my sticking point is that i don't really agree (based on experience) w/ the girls are girls, theyre all the same mentality. an ugly chick's mindset couldn't be any more different from a hot one's. the ugly girls basically have to do a complete role reversal and are the ones hitting on guys since they'd get no attention otherwise. they will be immediately receptive to attention from virtually any guy. hot girls, on the other hand, are constantly getting hit on. this guarantees that they will be w…

something to keep in mind is that the # is worthless if you haven't established some kind of connection w/ her...or at least made yourself memorable. if you just walk up, tell her shes hot, get the # and leave, when you message her a few days later, she'll be like "who the hell is this" and ignore. point being, whatever strategy you're using, you need to build a connection or else the # is of no use to you.

yes. and yes they're attractive. its possible ... helpful if one/both of you is in relationships when you're developing the friendship (at least this was the case with me).

guys, this advice sounds great in theory but doing this can completley destroy your chances if you haven't built enough comfort first. for example, obv just coming up to a random girl and saying "i want to f you so bad" will get a terrible reaction 95% of the time and the other 5% are girls I'm not sure I'd want anything to do with. you basically just come off like a rapist. so the question is at what point in the interaction does saying something like that become "safe" ... thats a tricky call,…

what shes doing is fine. saying "i'm not interested" is much more unnecessarily abrasive. 95% of guys will quickly get the hint and move on.

i will usually get hers & send her a text shortly after so we both have each other's. that makes a lot of sense to me. what your proposing is kind of weird and i'd be a bit put off by it as a guy. its generally the guy's role to take the initiative in the interaction...i don't want to have to wait for you to call me.

also, not to be shallow, but there is definitely a lot of self-selection as far girls that choose to use okcupid. 1) girls feel more of a stigma than guys w/ using online dating ... you can sense it in many of their profiles 2) good looking girls get approached CONSTANTLY IRL and will feel 0 need to use OKC b/c they are already overwhelmed w/ date opportunities my other big complaint is that vibe/rapport are so important for hitting it off w/ a girl and I find it extremely difficult to establish…

be someone that is positive & fun to interact with and has fun wherever they are, so people enjoy hanging out w/ you regardless of whats going on around you spend time researching cool events (big cities have these going on every night) and be the one that gathers people together to go to them. eventually, people will start reciprocating and inviting you to other things as well. be a "connector", someone that introduces people from different social circles ... that is something others value and …

generally, absolutely agree with this. don't be an idiot -- escalate gradually, get some IOIs before taking the next step, but always try to escalate. if you're confident and remember that she wants it just as much if not more than you, it will always be a positive experience. that's not to say you won't get resistance at various pts -- you will, but remember this is programmed into girls by society -- if they don't resist they will feel slutty. if they've already given you some IOIs prior to th…
