| 1 | Correct me if I'm wrong but...I do think it's an issue that women aren't being sentenced as harshly. Maybe I was confusing on that. To me though it's not as black and white as "men are being discriminated against in sentencing" and with the "replace gender with race" imagine that there were black judges and juries sentencing white people and black people differently too. | 2 | Correct me if I'm wrong but...Nice been thinking about this. When I imagine a man killing someone I automatically think of him as evil or a really bad violent guy. But if I just imagine a woman killing someone, automatically I think she must be protecting someone or must have been mentally disturbed or sick to do it. | -1 | Correct me if I'm wrong but...I'm trying to think of how to explain what I'm thinking about these men's rights issues like lighter sentencing. It's kind of subtle. It's like, ideally you think men and women should get the same sentence for roughly the same crime. But if women are getting a lighter sentence, then the men that are getting sentenced longer are getting the right sentence while women aren't being sentenced long enough.
