Look up solipsism.

Got it. Without launching into what is most likely a victim puke, I've been off the past few months, but am now getting back into it.

Thanks. It's been a while since she's shit tested like this, lately they're comfort tests because of her personal insecurities.

No, she doesn't ask those questions.

Some good points here. She has made out with other women before, but our friend was drunk and agressive and even though my wife was into it at the time, it wasn't until the next day that she said it made her uncomfortable.

Yep, I realized that after I said it.

Yeah that makes sense, I just couldn't articulate it last night.

I already knew that.

It's been about a year and I have had exactly two arguments, both my fault because I lost frame and engaged her. She knows that I don't argue, so she doesn't try anymore. Instead, she asks for my input on situations, and trusts my answers because I have set an example of being consistent and rational. And I was drunk for both of those arguments, so there's that.

The one point I disagree with is telling your buddy. I have a friend who I talk to about everything, good and bad. We aren't looking for sympathy or validation, we debrief each other so we can analyze where our mission fell apart. Then we discuss alternative actions that could have been taken and their likely outcomes. He and I are on similar paths but we have different ideas, perspectives, and skillsets which compliment each other's action plans.

My wife has Snapchat. She went to New York a couple of weeks ago and I ignored most of her texts. Then she starts texting me through Snapchat. It ended with her masturbating and send me all the pics of it. So what do I think of these apps?? I think they're fucking awesome.

Read anything from Alan Watts. Almost all of his lectures are on YouTube. He is best known for explaining eastern philosophies in a western tone. Also, zen Buddhism and mrp line up as far as beliefs go. The Buddhist recognizes that he alone is responsible for his thoughts, actions, and feelings and makes a conscious effort, every waking moment, to be proactive in life. This is the basis of meditation. It isn't about "emptying your mind" and all that, it is really about mindfulness, recognizing y…

Seriously, fucking help yourself. Do you ask other people.to help you with every situation that arises in your day to day life? Because that's the vibe you're giving off here. It's been posted ad nauseum but here it is again, perhaps in a way that will get your attention: STOP FOCUSING ON HER. How about a baseball analogy? You're trying to figure out how play shortstop when you're the goddammed bat boy!

This is a great read. I came to this realization a few years ago with my oldest son, and have since been more active with him. He reminds me every so often that, in a few years, he's going to beat my ass. I've been looking forward to that day since he was born.

You want a day to day example? My job doesn't start until 10am. But I am awake at 6am so I can get my daughters up and ready to catch their school busses at 6:55 and 7:15. At 6:30, I get my oldest son up so he can get ready for school. His bus leaves at 7:40 but he takes longer to wake up and he takes longer to get ready. At 7:30 I wake up my youngest son to get him ready so he can catch his bus at 8:33. I'm also making all of them breakfast, talking to them about how their days will go and so o…

I've been here since last December, and have been studying the sidebar. I'm not done with it either. There is more to learn in that information than anything you will read in these posts, because the men here have digested the sidebar info and anything they post is a result of it.

She doesn't see you as a leader right now. She will second guess your every move until you have a proven track record of making decisions, even then, she will still question you occasionally. If you're new to this, then it will take a while for her to see that you can handle your shit properly. Until then, the whining, bitching, and complaining will continue. You'll know you're there once she starts deferring to you instead of complaining to you. But remember, she will still complain about her d…

Hectic schedule and time management are excuses. Sex happens when you want it to happen, if you're worth it. I work mornings, my wife works swing. Most days we only see each other for an hour or two. Sometimes she gets home at 11 and has to be back at 6 the next day. Some of the best sex I've had lately has happened on those nights, when she's exhausted and just wants to sleep. If you're worth it, if you are the prize, then sex will happen when you initiate. And if it doesn't, so what?

My wife says the same thing. She gets grossed out at the thought of millions of microscopic organisms burrowing into her tongue and cheeks. Oh, she also thinks it's degrading when women let men cum on their faces. Guess what? I come in her mouth. She spits. I came on her face one time, on accident, and she laughed about it afterward.

It's been a while since I've posted anything, but I've buckled down now on my diet. Back to eating clean, chicken, rice, and greens once a day. Home: 90% - I've been keeping the kitchen clean (which has always been my responsibility) but have also taken over cleaning everywhere else. My wife's best friend made a joke the other day about me "doing my job" and I just smiled at her and agreed. She ate it up. Shit tests are all playful, no real arguments in a long time. Comfort tests abound, though.…

I can only comment based on my experience and I have a lot of it in this area. I dropped almost 100lbs in less than a year and have kept it off for the last 4 years. The keto diet is what did it for me. After my initial loss, I hit a plateau, so i started intermittent fasting and was able to continue losing weight. Now I'm losing more with OMAD. One big meal a day, a plate of rice, vegetables, and protein. The first week sucked but now it's a normal habit. I also try to do a cold water fast for …

This year, I flipped it on her. I asked her what she was doing for me for Valentine's day. This got her wheels spinning and it seems as though she enjoyed taking over. And just like you, OP, I went along with it. She took me to dinner and a movie, John Wick 2, because she said she wanted the day to be "manly". It was great.

It's less of a tourist trap than the strip. I noticed a lot of locals hanging around, and at the bar we sat between two locals who gave us some good info on stuff to see within walking distance.

That's good to know for next time. I was more concerned with the roulette table at that point.

No, it was a short trip. I originally planned an all weekend getaway but work got in the way. I'm planning a summer trip just to eat at as many different places as I can though.

Focus on the process not the results.. This has been the hardest part for me, if I can't visualize the end result, then the process of getting there is just too difficult. Fuck that. I've been consciously making myself smile at, and greet people I work with everyday. By the end of the day, I can look back at it and say it was a good day, not because fortune shined down upon me, but because I grabbed fortune by balls and made it shine on everything around me. "Exercise is awesome", "today will be…

Downtown, fuck the strip. There is far more to see and do on Fremont and I didn't have to drive all over. 3 different stages with music, a bunch of dancers all over and some dude nailing a spike into his nasal cavity, it was great.

When she gets home, pull her aside and say "I'm sorry babe. Hey, I'm trying to get better in life and sometimes I feel like instead of listening, I try to fix your problems. So instead of listening, I shut you out. So I'll listen. But there may come a point where I need to move on, is that ok? There may be a point where I think you are looking for a solution to fix." This is what I did last night. As soon as I was done, she was back to her normal self and unloaded about her day. Like I said befo…

You're right. I got caught up in the argument instead of being stoic. It's always this one topic that pushes my buttons though, and now I have another area of improvement to work on. Thanks.

The disagreement was about feminism. She isn't a feminazi, but believes in equal pay for the same job performance, and equal rights for the same crimes, etc. But the discussion she was trying to have was about one of her clients who was spouting off about how most rape accusations are false and that men are raped more by women than women are by men, and my wife was citing some statistics about how less than 2% of rape accusations are false. I cut her off and stated that there are statistics that…

This is true shit. Putting time and effort into gaming other women isn't worth the loss of focus on yourself. I've been married for 16 years now and I'm just learning this. All the energy I wasted thinking about the what ifs, could have been used to improve my current state. Now, just a month in, I've upped my effort on myself and have seen immediate results. In building my frame I'm getting the perspective I've needed in my life. I'm not worrying about sex as much, and it's happening more. My r…

Let me tell you about my social circle. 3 married couples, including me and my wife, and our single buddy. This dude is the definition of alpha, in fact, he's the one responsible for me unplugging. The women have stated that he is an attractive guy and sometimes they even flirt with him. Instead of being intimidated by him, I've accepted him as a role model. He has helped me through quite a few hard times, as I have helped him. We've been each other's wingman on a few occasions and have benefite…

Nope. Like everyone else said, you're in her frame right now. You need to stop that and draw her into yours. Your frame is all that matters. And from there, you show her that you're the fucking man by getting shit done, without whining or DEERing. "Go ahead babe, I got this." is all you should've said. Then you actually do it without bitching, and do it better than she would have. The Captain analogy is used because an actual captain of a ship has been in all the other positions before, he knows…

You, sir, will be most attractive when you state, "Go I got it".........(And, Stoically/confidently exhibit your attitude of I can handle all this)......... This is what works here. As soon as I started replying this way, she became giddy and touchy-feely again. When it comes to shit around the house and the kids, JUST FUCKING DO IT. After a few days of you owning it, she will see the change and wonder what the fuck is going on with you. But, ultimately, you do it because it needs to be done, no…

Sure thing. I just sent TFA my back story and it's pretty long, but I'll try and summarize: I had a wake up call a few weeks back, I thought I caught my wife cheating on me. Turns she didn't, but it made me realize that I really love her. So started researching how to be a better husband and that lead me to the manosphere, the rational male, chataeu heartiste, and finally here. I started small the first day by STFU and bringing back my cocky/funny personality that I had lost. The wife ate it up.…

This is the truth. I spent over a year in DB wondering what was wrong with me and tried all the tips and shit they provided, didn't work at all. I've spent just under a month here, halfway through the sidebar, and have just about turned my marriage around. Had sex four times in the last week, wife is giddy as hell, constantly touching me and smiling at me. And I feel like a new man, a better man. Fuck that beta way of thinking, "why doesn't she want me?", "Does she even still love me?". I don't …

This is covered in MMSL, basically she won't ever do that because that's how women are wired. Instead she will continue to resent him and be completely turned off until another more capable man comes along and takes her reins.

If you meet an asshole in the morning, then you met an asshole. If you meet assholes all day long, then maybe you're the asshole.
