That said, I find people have a really hard time differentiating between belief systems (i.e. Islam) and believers (i.e. Muslims). Islam as a system has many valid interpretations; that is, there are many ways to understand the scripture and the tradition surrounding it. Each of these interpretations has salient differences and each can be more or less harmful. 1	It's not what she says, it's why she says it. Why would a woman communicating more directly be inductive of "role reversal"? Even if we accept that a woman communicating in a stereotypically masculine way is an indication of her attempt to take-on a "man's role" wouldn't the man in the relationship also have to take-on a stereotypical female communication style in order for the roles to be reversed?
