lol you like that look too?

what are the -kun and -san endings?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 10:42 AM

Who has been sending this message, and what public discourse? This is not representative of most normal women...
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 10:39 AM

Yeah, this is the friend zone perfectly explained. I was so frustrated as a teenager that girls would tell me they just got friend vibes from me - I finally realized I was SENDING OUT friend vibes because I wasn't comfortable with my sexuality, and worked on that.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 10:38 AM

Kissing them, trying to undress them, touching their skin all over
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 10:36 AM

Yeah but that aesthetic is SUPER HOT. So if you're into it, you have to hit on people who look like that, and hope some are into guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 10:36 AM

I'm sorry you had this horrible abuse growing up. Reading about this kind of thing interests me. The public comments are not from everyone and are more about signalling and trying to portray an image.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 10:35 AM

It honestly seems that the more effective strategy is to establish a sexual relationship first then build more of a friendship. Yes, this is the way to go. You absolutely have to have sex with them early on. Relationships start with sex, then you build a friendship while having sex, and then the romantic stuff comes in.

Interesting about Caplan! I'm a fan. Do you know for sure he is ND? I read a post of his on his blog where he somehow thinks it's a good idea to ask a girl if you can hold her hand...

I don't understand why on earth you have a problem with someone dating younger women.

Do you consider yourself demisexual?
/r/seduction20/04/21 05:54 AM

Interesting, but why wouldn't you text them again after for more pussy? And why would she be disappointed?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/20 06:19 PM
0

I don't understand the thought process - why would she be disappointed and who cares? You got nothing to lose and you might get more pussy. If she wasn't interested what difference does it make and why would she care? I don't think the girl was in "bad emotional trauma" she was just horny and looking for a guy she clicked with lol
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/20 07:10 AM
1

Yeah I think that's right. I also think guys don't usually lose interest for that reason either.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/20 10:32 PM
1

To clarify, it was not mutual loss of interest. I would always wanna fuck again (because hey, it's pussy) but a lot of the times they're one and done. And yes, some of the time I would have been open to serious relationships with them, or at least exploring that possibility, but I never heard from them again. It happens a lot. I don't think the problem was that we fucked on the first date - I think they were looking for something specific and the chemistry just wasn't there, but they were still …

There’s a reason why the whole “toxic masculinity” theory (which appears to be more or less what you’re getting at) is more commonly believed by women than it is by men: not that many men actually relate to it. Despite its name, it’s a female-centric perspective on gender. No not at all - toxic masculinity is like how if a guy gets bullied or abused people will tell him to suck it up instead of taking it seriously. The rest of your comment is 100% correct.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/20 09:17 PM
3

At least I have never heard of a guy saying that he got sex on the first date and then the girl lost interest in him. Not saying it never happens but probably not enough to be concerned Are you serious? Probably half the girls I have sex with aren't a match or are just looking for a one time thing and I never hear back. Not everyone clicks. That doesn't mean I should have waited - we just weren't a match. But it happens all the time that you hook up with a girl and she's not interested in more.

Well yeah obviously you gotta make sure you like the restaurant also - why go somewhere you don't like

Are you still seeing and fucking other people during those few weeks? You always have to be seeing a few people or you end up depending too much on one. Just understand that people pleasing or being agreeable is the biggest turn-off there is. Be aware of it and make an effort to stop by focusing on what you want.

What was that text in response to? What were you surprised she said? Just don't panic, it's not a big deal. Honestly, the anxiety about her seeing you as desperate and needy is way worse than actually being desperate and needy. Like, stop worrying so much how she sees you! It's just a drunk text. She's been ghosting you anyway so it's not like it really makes a difference. Most people you start to vibe with will end up ghosting you - that's just life.

No - a judgment is "I'm bad" whereas an assessment is "I think I made a mistake when I did X and I want to develop my skills in that area." See the difference?
/r/seduction27/11/19 12:30 AM
1

How is that postmodern? You practice talking to girls and hitting on them, and assess your skills and your results. You can tell if you've improved by your results - just look at whether you are getting pussy and how attractive you find the girls.
/r/seduction26/11/19 08:23 PM

Practice. That's not the same as judging yourself which doesn't help with any of those things.

I always do. It's super common in the US, though some guys seem to assume they should pay

It's more than that, though. It's reminding yourself that you don't know her and she doesn't owe you anything, so you should lean back and not get attached.
/r/seduction25/11/19 07:13 PM
1

Yeah, it's even 16 in most US states. This society is extremely age-segregated in a way that most other societies in human history were not. We're raised with people our exact age all through childhood and taught that people of other ages are so different. People get really hung up on age.
/r/seduction25/11/19 07:11 PM

Wtf why would you say that? At least have sex with her. Why are you talking about "being together" with her already?

You're still so young too - only 24. A 6 year age difference is nothing. There's nothing predatory about it and it's ridiculous that you would let that stop you.

Yeah, I was really sad about that pinned comment as well. That mod has his own viewpoint on game but it's counterproductive to be discouraging cold approaches. I'm really worried for all the guys with social anxiety - the world constantly tells them not to talk to anyone, and we're supposed to be the lone voice of sanity.
/r/seduction22/11/19 10:47 PM

Well OP had already had sex with her so that's what he should have done! I'm saying you need to take them and just go at them but I got accused of being a rapist for saying that :(
/r/seduction22/11/19 10:29 PM

I'm generally pretty forthcoming and aggressive about my intense need and desire for them (once we're in my bedroom or have had sex already, obviously) and I've found that really gets them going.

You will come across as creepy or invasive sometimes. You will make them uncomfortable sometimes. That's unavoidable. No way to do this without making mistakes sometimes. You just have to give yourself permission to escalate and be sexual. Make a conscious effort to try it, and just understand that it's part of the process if you make a mistake - that's the only way to learn. The better you are at this, the more mistakes you've made. So give yourself permission to try and experiment even though …

Try reloading it? Give it a minute to load? Here's what it says: Hi, I think I've become very good at approaching girls and flirting. However it goes bad as soon as I'm actually attracted to them. Give me any average-looking girl, a semi-empty bar and I have an easy time. I even enjoy it just because I love flirting. I can fake an interest in them, make entertaining conversation and I feel like I'm in control of the situation all the way. However, as soon as I start caring, I'm being too nice, I…

Yes, exactly. This is why I disagree with the stickied comment. The only way to learn calibration is to practice and make mistakes a lot. Better to do that in a cold approach where you don't know anyone and you can just move on without consequences if you fuck up.
/r/seduction20/11/19 09:51 AM

Thanks again for your detailed response. b.) And then responding according to what you have observed B is the hard part. Responding appropriately requires good calibration. Without that, you might think a response is appropriate when it isn't. My point is that you're going to build this important skill up faster by using it. By observing. Not by repeating cold approaches Don't cold approaches involve practicing skill B? This is the biggest adjustment you could make today: stop trying to joke sex…

This is exactly my experience as well. When I look for relationships I get nothing. When I look for hookups I get relationships. All my relationships started with sex. It's just how women are. Sex bonds people and creates relationships. Taking it slow pushes women away. They think you don't like them. goes against what most women say they want Pay attention to what they do, not what they say. People don't know themselves that well. Social circle game: I have repeatedly seen guys coming in and fucking it up for everyone at a bar or club. They're doing their approaches and their calibration is off. The girls close up and then they're not giving ANYONE the time of day. They're rejecting people preemptively. This is why I keep saying that cold approach is not a beginner technique. If guys keep looking at cold approach that way, it contributes to less fun for everyone. That doesn't really seem fair. How else are we supposed to …

Thanks for the detailed response and sharing your experience. the main thing is physical escalation and calibration during that process, not how "direct" the words were in your opener... if the guy physically escalates in a well-calibrated way, he's going to come off direct, confident, and savvy. Agree completely. You're talking about a compliment opener. That's not direct. It's over-assumptive, and a wasted opportunity because there is often more than enough information lying around to come up …

Fair enough. Personally, I love taking a woman and just going at her. If that's not your thing, I understand.
/r/seduction18/11/19 07:20 AM

No, it's pretty much the opposite - you want to make a move, make a move. Don't worry about what other people will think. In this context, she was testing to see if he really wanted her.
/r/seduction17/11/19 11:04 PM
1

Like if she says she’s gonna sleep why the fuck would I persist in sex with someone that doesn’t want it? Especially imo if she says I should leave and I persist I feel like I’m chasing her which I wouldn’t want to do. Because she does want it. Because she wants you to persist. Because she wants to feel needed and desired. Because she wants to be taken. Because she wants to be chased. Because it works.

I don't even think he had to go along with the whole nap pretense. She wanted to be taken and to know he wanted her. He could have just started kissing her and going at her and she would have responded eagerly.
/r/seduction16/11/19 03:16 PM
7

Yes. She wanted him to go for her and didn't want to have to say it. I don't even think he had to go along with the whole nap pretense. He could have just started kissing her or pulled her to the bedroom.
/r/seduction16/11/19 03:10 PM

She wanted to be taken and she was testing how bad you wanted her. You were supposed to just escalate at that point rather than make it into a test.
/r/seduction16/11/19 11:37 AM

Doesn't seem like she needed much convincing. She said that because she wanted to know he needed and desired her.

Yeah, there are definitely advantages to indirect style. The direct vs indirect debate is eternal. I think either can work and there are some advantages to each. You're right that a direct opener doesn't give girls something to respond to or directly lead to conversation, doesn't show you're paying attention, and isn't specific. It's not supposed to be any of those things. It does have other advantages - it shows confidence and dominance, directly communicates interest, sets up a frame of man/wo…

I think another way to handle this would have been to just start escalating. Like when she said she was going to lie down you could have just walked over to her, held her head in your hands, and leaned in to kiss her. If she responded positively to that then you could just continue escalating as normal.
/r/seduction16/11/19 06:06 AM
-6

Obviously escalating is not rape, wtf
/r/seduction16/11/19 06:04 AM

That's bizarre but what can you do. I actually wrote in another comment that he could have started kissing her and that is also currently negative. There's no way that could sound bad. And my reply to you above that she would have been receptive to escalation is at 0. Weird. Do you agree he could have just started kissing her?
/r/seduction16/11/19 05:56 AM

Why? I'd rather post helpful things. I don't care about karma; it's a meaningless number. But for real, she would have been very receptive to escalation then. No idea why anyone downvoted this.

/r/seduction15/11/19 02:36 AM

Another common problem is that a lot of guys think that it's a great thing to open with some variation of telling the girl that she's cute. This is an unconventional statement - direct openers like that are commonly taught by a lot of coaches and I find they generally work well. Why are you totally against them?

in real life, if the girl loves/likes you, you don't have to worry about assholes chatting her up while you take a piss. She's not your property anyway, and if she doesn't love/like you, the you better let her go to the other guy in any case That's the whole point of OP's post!

Ha, I can't think how someone can be good at night game but not online game. Online is so much less intimidating, you can go through 1000 girls way faster, you can take your time to think about responses, you don't have to worry about friends or groups or logistics, and you can block anyone who's mean. If you have, then you a bigger problem, you might just be an asshole or hideous. Based on only 100? It takes a lot more than 100 approaches to build skills and get results. I'd like to know your take on this: I've approached maybe 500 women in the last year with no results, but had sex with 50 or so women I met online. What's up with that? Seems to me online is way easier.

It's all about developing the skills. Each rejection gives you a little more skill and eventually you have enough skill to get pussy. Why? Because pussy is so good. It's the best thing ever. I'd rather not prove how defective and low value I am taking this "approach 1000 women to get one makeout" stuff, I think even that estimate is generous in my case. All you're saying is you don't think the effort is worth the result. It's your decision. Maybe the rate at which you gain skill is so low you do…

Yeah, it's 16 in most US states for sex, but even then, you still can't take dirty photos unless they're 18. So arbitrary - sex is fine but pictures aren't. I was thinking 18 because it's 18 in my state. I only mentioned it to ward off smart remarks in response to "age is just a number." I should have said "as long as they're over the age of consent in your jurisdiction."

Yeah it's hard at first. You just have to practice touching and kissing her.
/r/seduction15/03/18 06:09 AM

As soon as she's at your place you need to be touching and kissing her. You say "nothing happened" but what you mean is "I didn't do anything." Why didn't you? You just need to touch her, kiss her, start undressing her. I know it's not easy at first... there's a barrier there you have to break through. But you just have to do it.

Wow really? Why? What's your experience? Online you can just be super direct and see who's looking for sex and into you.

Girls-only gyms are also illegal in general, but some states have passed special laws allowing single-sex health clubs - these laws don't apply to bars: https://fitnessmarketing.com/2011/04/are-women-only-gyms-guilty-of-discrimination/

The "logic bomb" might make more sense if girls-only clubs were legal. They violate US civil rights laws. Public accommodations can't discriminate like that.

Do you think anything has changed in the last 15 years? Strauss wrote that book for a mainstream audience, so he wrote it to read like a romantic comedy - a guy gives it all up for the girl he loves. I don't even think game has changed that much, though I haven't read that book for a while - the only difference I can think of is that people used routines a lot more then.

That's a false dilemma - leading doesn't mean letting people freeload on you. It means valuing yourself. Why should you pay for someone you don't know and who hasn't earned it? Not to mention that you are much less likely to get sex if you pay.

If she says something like “you do this to a lot of girls” give another pithy response and don’t let her dwell on it (“I am flattered you think girls want to fuck me. Not every girl makes bad decisions like you do.”). I don't understand this part - why are you saying it's a bad decision to fuck you? Get her number. After you leave, text her something later that night like “great to meet you tonight, let’s hang soon!” Two days later, text her about some random thing you guys did or talked about, …

This is great. I really like the gas/brakes stuff. Your rational words should show interest and enthusiasm but you must communicate the “emotion” of “I’m just talking to you to be nice, I would maybe rather be somewhere else.” Take the pressure off of her and just allow HER emotions to grow by not getting emotionally invested. And until she emotionally invests, DO NOT STOP YOUR MISSION. She should feel like you might walk away at any moment. Disinterested interest, however, does not mean be low …

Well, ego is a confusing term that can mean many different things. It can refer to ego strength, the ability to deal with and handle difficult situations without taking them personally, or to self-confidence or self-esteem - this is a good thing. It can refer to the part of the mind that balances your desires (id) with your self-control (superego) - that's also a good thing. It can also refer to taking things personally, arrogance, or being full of yourself - generally things that get in the way…

Yeah, a lot of guys seem to be like that, which I find really strange because it doesn't matter much to me, but everyone's got their own preferences though. For me weight can only take a couple points off and it's mostly about facial features, hair, eyes, voice, and I also care a lot more about sexual compatibility than weight. I'm happy as long as I have pussy all the time.
/r/TheRedPill09/02/17 06:22 PM

You're confusing social monogamy with sexual monogamy. Social monogamy refers to a male and female pairing up and having offspring - many animals are socially monogamous, including humans in the short-term. Sexual monogamy means turning down all other mating opportunities - DNA tests have shown no animals do this normally. It only exists in humans and even then it doesn't work very well.

I don't believe humans are programmed to be monogamous, however I would love to find a man who changes my mind on this I thought you said it was a "higher value"? I just don't see the point of restricting yourself from having sex with new people. Sex with new people is good for you.

No, it's not about one-upping other guys at all - I feel like we're all on the same team and should try to help each other. It's not like I'm better than a guy who's been with 50 girls or worse than a guy who's been with 300. It's more about the excitement of meeting and having sex with a new girl than it is about the total number. It's the act, the experience, and the process that's the point. I don't count anyone I've paid as part of my number. Paying for sex doesn't make me feel dirty or not …

Some guys like really skinny girls; other guys like more curves. And preferences in facial features are incredibly variable. I don't find Asian facial features attractive in general; a lot of guys do. Some guys like rounder faces vs. wider vs. narrower. If you showed me 5 faces that met your ideal of perfection, I'd probably think at least a couple of them didn't grab me, and vice versa.

Why is target selection so important, and what do you look for? IOIs, look, their mood, who they're with? What would you say is a really good rate? Are the examples you gave (30%, 20%, 20%) reasonable for a beginner? for someone with a little experience? It's more like, nothing you do on the dance floor counts. Kissing a little can help build up tension, especially if you pull her off to the side a bit and are talking privately. Getting her turned on is a good thing but if you do it too early it'll backfire. Build some rapport first.

Frame isn't necessarily immature or about controlling. Frame refers to the beliefs and viewpoints you enter a situation with. So for instance, having the frame "I'm out having fun and talking to people, and if someone isn't into me, that's about them" will color your experience positively and help you be outcome independent.

I didn't say that mindfulness is part of Christianity - I said the word was taken from Christianity. It's a terrible translation of sati.

The word mindfulness is terrible. It was taken from Christianity and misapplied to Buddhist concepts, and lately it's been totally ruined by commercialization. "Cultivate mindfulness with this $90 meditation pillow!"

Serious question: How can you not? You use email, read webpages, go on reddit, and text people, right? Why are you mystified? I wish I weren't constantly distracted but it's hard in this world we live in. But sure, if I really need to I can put my phone away.

However, like you, I am fucking pissed off at the "men are pigs and women love pigs" facts of life. You can be a good person, make people better, and still stand up for your needs and desires, be dominant, and be in control. That's what being a man is about. What's with this idea that dominance and strength require making people worse off? I think it might help to unpack the word "pigs" here. What exactly is a "pig"? I'm guessing you might have some negative ideas about sex, dominance, assertive…

But how is the sex... that's the real question
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/16 07:29 PM

Yes of course, but my point is that many people try to get rich and don't succeed. It's competitive and difficult. People who started businesses and then had them fail have motivation, don't fear failure, work hard, but still aren't rich.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/16 06:57 PM
1

What I'm saying is that there is absolutely nothing stopping anyone from taking that risk and putting that work in except their own internal limits on their behaviour. True, but that's not enough to make you rich. The vast majority of new businesses fail, even when their owners take risks and put work in.

I guess you haven't talked to many kinksters. The words have a special meaning within the kinky (BDSM) community, for both women and men. Some people really like to be controlled. Some people really like to control another.

This really depends. Are you having sex with them or not? I'm baffled at people's answers. They seem to be assuming that the girls aren't into you and aren't having sex with you. But if they are having sex with you, it means they like you and want to stay fwbs.

No, that is not accurate at all. You don't understand. Girls see a hot guy and think he's attractive, and he approaches her, or she starts talking to him, and sometimes they end up dating or having sex. She doesn't need to escalate to sex. Guys see a hot girl and think she's attractive but are too scared to talk to her, or talk to her and don't know what to say, or talk to her but just end up friends. No, you get better through experience. You don't have to consciously reevaluate everything, though it's good to do that sometimes. That hasn't been my experience at all. You don't need to harden yourself up to the point where you can't relate to someone. If I understand correctly, you're asking about the level of friendship with a friend you're having sex with. This can be anywhere from just meeting up for sex and not really talking much other than that, to being best friends who talk on the phone every day. Women's standards would just increase to meet the new "supply" in quality. Why do you think this? The things that attract people are biological and part of human nature. The reason so many guys aren't attractive is just lack of knowledge. The 80/20 thing isn't a law of nature; even if it's true, it just means that 80% of guys don't know how. He didn't "do anything" to another guy. If a girl wants to end her relationship with her BF and start one with you, and use cheating as a way to do it, that's her choice. It's unreasonable IMHO to expect most people to end relationships in a mature way before doing something with someone else.

Did you read the report? It was a crappy relationship, the guy was on the other side of the planet, and they broke up anyway. Relationships end. It happens. If you personally refuse to talk to girls with BFs because you don't want them to cheat, that's your choice, but it's not your job to make sure girls don't cheat. A lot of the time this is how one relationship ends and another one starts, especiially when the relationship is dying already, like this one. Context matters.

I mean, if an emergency really did come up, that's one thing, but that's not what we're talking about. Maybe we should ask a woman about which reaction she would appreciate more and we can end this argument fairly quickly Yes, let's gear everything we do to what women say they would appreciate more.

It's completely ridiculous for males as well. Everything Nofap says about neurotransmitters is completely wrong and pseudoscientific (that's just not how the brain works). Nofap makes sense for an extremely small (but very vocal) proportion of guys who have problems with compulsively viewing porn. It's a motivational technique in the sense that "I'm on my computer for 12 hours a day, so let me take a break from my computer" is a motivational technique. For the vast majority of guys, you're compl…

I don't really understand this. If someone makes plans with me, whether it's dating a girl or meeting with a friend, I'm setting aside that time for them instead of planning other things. If they cancel on me, that's disrespectful of my time. I don't like when people disrespect me. That's why I would be upset.

Well, that's a case where you weren't honest in the beginning, if I understood you correctly, so it's a little different. It is weak to be dishonest from the beginning and then be honest about it when you feel guilty later.

My problem is that I do want more than that with girls. I like the sex but I also want romance, close friendship, love, and so forth. But a lot of girls don't believe me, or they think that wanting more means I want monogamy (which I don't.) How do you handle it when you do want more? How do you stop yourself from wanting more?

Every time you find yourself asking "Does she like me?", think to yourself "If I knew without a doubt that she was totally into me, what would I do?". Then do that. Assume Attraction. Ok, but here is my question. How do you avoid being too needy or calling or texting too much? If I knew without a doubt that someone was totally into me, I'd text and call and stuff all the time, and probably seem way too available.

I have a finely tuned sense of social awareness from almost a decade of going out though, so I know immediately whether a girl is being rude or if I did something a little odd, and I know the best ways to respond to most situations. God I wish I could have that. That's exactly what I want. How do I know whether something was my fault or not? How do you develop this?

Holland? And how is beer thought of in the land of wine?

Drinking beer is unattractive in Europe? WTF? I thought Europe was the land of beer. I think here bragging blatantly is also seen as unattractive, which is why we usually tell people to be subtle. I guess things like grabbing girls, making out in public, and so forth are also frowned on? I'm surprised about your last point as well... why is there so much discomfort about flirting and innuendo? And I thought we were prudes here in the US.

Yes, exactly. A lot of people make the mistake of dividing things up into "how women are" and "how men are" when they should say "how people are when I try to date them" and "how people are when I don't." All this stuff is the exact same for men. Men are just as oblivious and emotional; it just doesn't come up as much for straight guys, who aren't trying to date other men.

Why would it offend western europeans? I thought they were supposed to be less hung up about sex there?

Because the rest of it is good. Thanks for raising that point about having a heightened sense of discomfort and the stereotype of being creepy. So what would you advise? Should people be looking for discomfort? How do you fight having a heightened sense of discomfort? How do you stop worrying about the "creepy" stereotype?

You're overthinking it. If a girl says she wants you, and you want to hang out at the party a little more, then do that. If you want her then, leave and take her then. Do what you want and don't worry about whether you'll look too eager. You're not doing what she tells you; you're going with what you want.

Does she know? If not, tell her and ask if she wants one... then kiss her neck as you massage her back. Then trail the kisses to her mouth as you move around to her front. If she does know, you can just say "hey, you remember I'm trained in massage therapy... what have you been waiting for?" then proceed as above.

From what you've written, she is clearly into you and feels the same way. So you really should just give her a hug, hold her close, look into her eyes, and just kiss her. What exactly are you scared of... there isn't anything to be scared of. Just think how amazing it will feel to hold her and kiss her. You could also test the waters a little bit by asking her for a massage, giving her a massage, stroking her neck, and leaning in and smelling her. I may get downvoted for this, because the usual …

I know going out by yourself can make you seem creepy. Don't be ridiculous. Not at all. It's all in your mindset. You're just going to have fun and be social and meet some cute girls. People go out by themselves all the time.

There is a big difference between caring and being needy. The person who is less needy has more control, but you can care a lot and maintain healthy personal boundaries -- that's the ideal.

This is generally really great advice for life, but I have to disagree with Make sure you are happy and content first before dating. If you wait till you're perfectly content, you'll be waiting a long, long time. Look at all the crazy, dysfunctional people out there who manage to attract girls/guys. Not that you should be like that, but having good sex and good dates can help you feel better and happier. It's a gradual process. One step at a time. You don't need to wait to start.

Well, there's a big difference between being lonely and wanting someone else in your life. Loneliness is being unhappy about being alone, which means you're not happy about your life, as opposed to just wanting someone in your life to make it better. Don't confuse wanting something with being unhappy. (This is the central mistake of Buddhism, for instance -- eliminating desires just makes you bored, boring, and depressed, but learning how to keep your unmet desires and still be happy with what y…

Are you talking to me? That wasn't my comment that was deleted. I don't think it's especially noble that I am sometimes attracted to other things than just looks. I think that's the norm. What idea shouldn't be controversial?

A man's attraction buttons are pressed when he sees a good-looking woman. That's it. OK, I guess you're probably a woman, but for men, things are quite straightforward. We see a woman we like, and we're willing to have sex with her. All the relevant buttons have already been pressed at that point, just by seeing her. I'm male and this is 100% false for me. I believe you if you say it's true for you but I think men are complicated, just like women are. If we're interested in a relationship, then …

Seriously, how is that a "negative context"? Sex is a win-win situation. You can either have a broad definition of manipulation and say it can be a good thing sometimes, or you can have a very narrow definition of manipulation and say it's a bad thing. Dating/relationship skills can be used to influence people, but they're only a bad thing if they're used for bad purposes. And having consensual sex is not a bad purpose.

Height is irrelevant... it's more likely to be the way they smell, or the personal preferences of the girls they go up to, or something completely random.

Yeah, I read the comments you've gotten, which is why I posted what I did. I think you should ignore those comments. I think it's better to outwardly approach "like a creep" (which you're not doing anyway) than to worry about whether or not you are (which makes you more tentative and hesitant and actually makes you come off more like a "creep").
/r/seduction28/01/12 11:26 AM

I think your biggest problem is that you're overly worried about being "creepy" or seen as a "creeper." Don't be so worried about what other people think: I know easier said than done. But you come off as worried about coming on too strong, worried you'll be misinterpreted. Go to a club or dance floor and just watch people sometime to get a feel for how aggressive you can be... I think if you see other people do it and look good, you'll be less worried about seeming "creepy" when you do it.
