My husband and I keep separate accounts. I pay for very little (my car, college savings for kid, my personal expenses). He covers everything else (mortgage, utilities, vacations, etc) and is happy doing so as long as I am saving aggressively for retirement. He makes more so he pays more and all "his" investments are ours. This post feels like what 50/50 dates look like 8 years in 😣.

Wtf happens when the shower drains slowly because of a minor or major clog? Just chilling in feces water. This is disgusting and against any common sense of hygiene or plumbing. Showers could be almost twice as far from the main waste stack compared to a toilet, they aren't meant for this. If they are renting I would gtfo and tell the landlord. He should be personally liable for any plumbing problems that arise. Any landlord queens thinking of adding these to your lease now 😶😣

Friendships can last a lifetime with women, boyfriends and validation from men are fleeting. I wish I realized this at 16 😢. Definitely something I will be reinforcing with my daughters.

My husband did what I would consider a HV proposal. We were doing a small wine tour together at my favorite spots and he had arranged for our last visit to be the proposal spot. He proposed on the deck with a beautiful view (obviously on his knee) and had them bring out glasses for a toast. I had already picked out my ring but the day and time was a surprise. Yep. I think about this sub everything I listen to true crime. If they had avoided those men they could still be here. Just reinforces the vetting process. But even then you can never know for sure :(
