FWIW, I'm a mechanical engineer and doing acting/modeling on the side, and my last LTR was with a foreign woman (Mexico). Not all guys who look abroad are unattractive/low income.

Drugs. Bisexual partner w/ gay friends. Sounds like a recipe for you contracting AIDS. What are you a masochist?

do you have links to these videos of women rejecting men to embarrass them? Not doubting it's happening, but I haven't seen this yet myself...

Social/partner dancing (Salsa, Ballroom, etc), conservative churches and church social events, gyms, co-ed sports (softball, tennis, golf, running clubs, beer league hockey etc.), language exchanges (also check out Tandem, a language learning app also used for dating) Also, why move to NYC? Women there constantly complain about the lop-sided sex ratios of more women than men. Why not consider a military town (San Diego, Norfolk) or Northern California?

I learned through dating and other life experiences that sane, attractive women prefer traditionally masculine men, that traditional sex roles work best for me, and the types of women I am attracted to.

Just tell him you've really enjoyed the time you've been spending together, growing together, and that you are looking forward to a bright future together.

Sounds like you're attracting guys looking for a hook-up and not a girlfriend/wife. Re-examine yourself, what kind of vibes you're putting out, and where you're meeting men.

What are you studying at your university? Have you looked at guys in STEM buildings/classes? Engineering, Science, Programming, etc. classes will have lots of guys, including many conservative types who will be interested in a serious relationship.

Find out what things trigger those thoughts, and steer clear of those things. Certain people, images, food, places, atmospheres, etc.? Identify those things and work to eliminate them/replace them with non-triggering things.

Actually it does make sense, and you gave another example of why it makes sense with your last sentence. OP wants to become "wife material" and mentioned things like cooking, demure behavior, etc. that point towards the image of a traditional wife. Conduct a poll of men in the RP-sphere who want a wife who "cooks, dresses modestly, not foul mouthed, etc" and I guarantee you'll find that "not having tattoos" is another attribute on most of their lists.

Are there specific physical traits, or specific physical types (hair color, etc.) that these men possess at least one of that you could train your eye to be more attentive to? For example, if you like hair, guys with dark hair, you could focus on guys with nice dark hair that you're attracted to. If they have at least one physical trait that you're drawn to, you can start with that. I loved my ex-gf's long, rich, flowing black hair. From there, I gradually became more attracted to her overall ap…

He's curious to know your number and some of the characteristics of your ex's. Jealousy is a natural healthy instinct. It's his imperative to know that you've got genuine desire for him, and are not going to be pining for an alpha ex or have a notch count so high your monogamous pair bonding sensors have been completely blown out. At 4-5 partners, you're relatively innocent compared to the average modern American woman, and more importantly his number is similar. Tell him your number, if they we…

There are some funny but true memes out there that similarly make this breakdown, referring to men as "alpha positive"/"alpha negative"/"beta positive"/"beta negative", etc. lol Do an online search and you'll find them and at the very least be entertained, if not also informed.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the term HVM. Too ambiguous imo, and I feel the same way about similar terms for describing women (Quality Women, Trad Women, etc). KS at least backed up the term with a definition, although I don't entirely agree with his definition, it does more or less describe the caliber of man that 90%+ women are seeking, particularly when they're on dating apps. Mind you, that's not the same thing as what most women should be looking for, since statistically there aren't nearl…

You make some good points, but just playing devil's advocate a little - there are notable instances where men do change/improve after being in a relationship. I've seen it in my own social circle. The "men never change/women want to change them/women change/men don't want them to change" adage is not an absolute. The OP's bf sounds inexperienced in relationships and a little timid as a result, but he's in one now and is growing/gaining wisdom as we speak.

Listening is the key to good communication, and that will help you pause before speaking and collect your thoughts/emotions before barfing them out on him. If you still need someone to vent your feelings/frustrations to, go see a therapist.

I was banned from 2x for the following response to a thread hating on men who complain about the friend zone: 'Of course there's lots of men who will simp/orbit a woman, hoping for things to eventually turn romantic - don't lead these men on. If men complaining about the "friend zone" offends you, then don't have male friends. Problem solved.'

Be open to men over 30. We're not all creeps. It's going to be hard finding guys your age who are ready for a relationship. Try religious circles and STEM major/worker circles.

Way too early. You're still in a stage of life where you're still developing your sense of self. Ten years from now, you might be a completely different man, with different goals. Vasectomies are for men who've already reproduced and don't want to accidentally add any more children to their budget.

I haven't read his printed books, but Rollo already has a gold mine of information on his blog and multi-hour videos on YT. Pick the topic that most interests you and look up his blog posts and YT videos. If you like the content, get his publication that corresponds to the topic, it will certainly be worth the admission price.

In evangelical circles, at least half the women are broken.. washed up party girls, single moms, and the like. They'll use the religion as a weapon to manipulate you. It gets entertaining when they inevitably start theologically contradicting themselves. Then again, Evangelical Christianity doesn't have much theological substance to begin with. While there are some decent girls in church circles, you have to remember evangelicalism attracts a lot of broken women who want to be "born again" (i.e.…

With experience you'll be able to recognize the signs of a high n-count woman. Cock carouselers are easy to spot once you know what to look for.

It has been statistically documented that women with higher n counts are less likely to be faithful. Nothing weak about having common sense.

Ideally zero. Realistically zero-to-5. I would not LTR a woman with an n greater than 10, full stop.

His reward was starfish sex, a messy house, paying for another man's offspring, high credit card bills, and getting cheated on. I'll bet she didn't even do any cooking either. Anyone still doubting there aren't consequences for women who think they can transition from Sex and the City to Mary Poppins in the same lifetime should read this article twice, slowly.

I'm no laissez-faire capitalist nor a liberal feminist. I'm conservative/populist, favoring a regulated capitalist economy with a roll for government to provide a safety net as well as regulate/nationalize key industries that are linked to national security and sovereignty. I support a strong military but I'm mostly non-interventionist. I'm pretty conservative in the American spectrum on social issues, favoring families, natural gender roles and other natural laws. People are free to express the…

I was only a kid at the time (ages 8-18), but people were less obnoxious, no cell/texting/selfies, things were more direct and more mature. No internet dating (good thing or bad thing?). Feminism was definitely on the rise, the anti-date rape campaign was in full swing, and men didn't have organized Game to counter any of this. Maybe it's just because they're older now, but gen-Xers do strike me as less ridiculous than millenials for sure, however they didn't have the tools (online dating, cell/…
